bludgeoning Incident

Bludgeoning incident occurred at about 11:30 PM of May 1, 2015 at Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City. The victim was identified as Tyron Balansag Y Dumaog, 29 years old, married, a construction worker and a resident of said place. Initial investigation disclosed conducted that at around 11:00 PM of May 1, 2015, when the suspect identified as Jethro Balansag Y Dumaog, 20 years old, single, a construction worker and his father identified as Winnie Balansag Y Arquisa arrived to their residence, the elder brother (victim) was angry to their father wherein he mauled his father, however, the father shouted for a help in which the suspect cannot longer hold his temper. He then picked a piece of wood measuring 2x4 and 32 inches length and batted towards his elder brother’s (victim) head several times that caused his untimely death. The suspect voluntarily surrendered to the barangay captain of barangay buenavista, Pagadian City. He was turned- over to the custody of the PNP elements of Pagadian city police station for proper disposition.

2 Nabbed during Aurora Drug Bust

Two individuals were arrested during drug buy-bust operation conducted by Aurora MPS at the 4DM hardware located at National Highway, Barangay La Victoria, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 AM of May 1, 2015. Police Inspector Kenneth Soon, Aurora Deputy Police Chief, identified the two persons as Ronie Bonghanoy Y Bustamante, 41, married, resident of barangay Poblacion, Kapatagan, Lanao Del Norte and Fedelino Baludo Y Caime aka “Junjun”, 30, married and a resident of Barangay Banale, Pagadian City. Confiscated from their possession and control are four (4) transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu estimated to ₱2,500.00 street value cmm two (2) folded aluminum foils one (1) unit zh&k z70 cell phone, one (1) unit Kawasaki fury single mc colored grey  with plate number oz-9334 and marked money (two pcs 200 peso bills. The arrested suspects were properly informed of their constitutional rights and now temp detained at Aurora MPS for proper disposition. The confiscated shabu is now at the custody of Aurora MPS for subsequent submission to Crime Lab Office for examination. A case for violation of RA 9165 is now being prepared for immediate filing in court against them.

Man Nabbed in Guipos for Theft

Police operatives of Guipos Police Station arrested a wanted person during police operation in Barangay Balongating, Guipos at about 9:30 AM of May 1, 2015. Police Senior Inspector Usman Edding, Guipos Police Chief, identified the arrested as Christopher Acol Cubio, 35 years old, single and a resident of above-mentioned place by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of theft docketed under criminal case number 3342-g issued by Hon Judge Pacifico T Cimafranca Jr. Of 8th MCTC, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. He is now temporarily detained at Guipos MPS lock-up cell waiting for commitment order from the court.
