Top1 Most Wanted Person Nabbed in Dumingag
A wanted person listed as the Top 1 Most Wanted in
Tampilisan Municipality was arrested during police manhunt operation carried
out by Tampilisan MPS of Zamboanga del Norte and Dumingag MPS at Barangay
Danlungan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:45 AM of May 8, 2015. Police
Senior Inspector Heterence D. Abraham, Dumingag Police Chief, identified the
arrested man as Jimmy Jumawan, of legal age, single, farmer and a resident of
above-mentioned barangay. Suspect Jummy Jumawan was arrested by virtue of Warrant
of arrest issued by Judge Oscar D. Tomarong of RTC9, Branch 28, Liloy, Zamboanga
Del Norte dated March 20, 2013 for the crime of murder (2 counts) docketed
under Criminal Case number L-001504 and L-001505 without bail bond recommended.
The accused was listed as nember 1 of Top10 MWP (Municipal Level of
Tampilisan). During the law enforcement operation, accused fired his gun
towards the arresting PNP personnel that prompted the arresting officer to
returned fire that resulted to his untimely death. Recovered from the
possession of the deceased accused was
one (1) snab nose Smith Wesson (paltik defaced) with two (2) Live ammo and one
(1) empty shell in the revolving cylinder. The cadaver was properly turned-over
to his immediate family. Confiscated items were brought to Tampilisan MPS for
proper disposition.
Shooting Incident in Labangan
Shooting incident
transpired at about 9:10 PM of May 8, 2015 at Purok Mangga Ii, Barangay
Lantian, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Private
First Class Junrey Surabia Y Dongallo, 25; single, enlisted Philippine army
presently assigned at 18th Infantry Battalion, Phil Army in Basilan,
resident of Barangay Tabuan, Tukuran. He was shot to death by an unidentified
riding criminal/s using caliber 9mm pistol based on the recovered two (2) fired
cartridge case of same caliber. based on
the investigation conducted by Labangan MPS disclosed that victim was on his
way home onboard on his driven single mc
Honda XRM 125cc color black with white combination coming from Barangay Bokong,
Labangan together with his girlfriend/back rider identified as Maria Fevean
Corpuz Y Pulmano and upon reaching at
above-mentioned place was chased/followed by an unidentified riding criminal/s
and without any apparent reason shot the victim/driver several times hitting on
his head and body which resulted to his untimely death. The suspect/s fled to
unknown direction after the incident while PNP elements of Labangan MPS
conducted a follow - up operation to possibly identify and arrest the
suspect/s. The evidence recovered from the crime scene are two (2) fired
cartridge case of caliber 9mm pistol and will be turned- over to Provincial
Crime Laboratory for ballistic examination. The motive of the incident still to
be determined.
Shooting
in Dumingag
Shooting incident occurred at about 4:30 AM of May 9, 2015
in Barangay Ditolan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Jerry
Maputi Y Gamal, 38 years old, married and a resident of Dumingag, Zamboanga Del
Sur. He was shot to death using unknown firearm by unidentified perpetrator. He
also sustained hacked wound on his body. Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that at about 4: 30 in the morning of same date, the victim went down
from the mining site going to the market of said Barangay but before the victim
arrived at the said market, his co-workers heard two (2) successive burst of
firearm and one burst interval. His co-workers then went down from mining site
and proceeded to the area were burst of firearms occurred (a distance of 150
meters hilly area, from the mining site going to the market) and they found the
victim blooded lying on the ground. The victim operated/owned a small-scale
mining site at Sitio Walo-wangka, Barangay Titik of said municipality wherein
the workers (Abantero) of his small-scale mining were his nearest relatives and
brothers. The victim was rushed to Sindangan District Hospital by his relatives
for medical treatment but declared dead on arrival by the Attending Physician,
Dr. Antonio Gandiongco. Recovered from the crime scene was a live ammo of
cal.45 which was recovered near the dead body of the victim. Thorough
verification made by the responding team revealed that the small amount of gold
and the cellular phone of the victim were intact in his pocket. The motive of
the incident believed to be jealousy on said mining site. Elements of Leon B
Postigo MPS are now continuously conducting follow-up investigation for the
possible identity and arrest of the perpetrator.
Shooting
in Pagadian
Shooting incident transpired at about 7:40 PM of May 9, 2015
along the National Highway of Purok Anunang in Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City.
The victim was identified as Emilio Samson,
45, married and a resident of said place. Prior to the incident, the victim was
with his wife boarded on SMC 125 to fetched their father from Purok Avocado but
upon reaching at Purok Anunang, two unidentified male suspects boarded on
unidentified single mc tailed them and suddenly approached them and shot the
victim at close range several times hitting his left shoulder that went out
thru and thru to his right chest. Recovered from the crime scene are the two
(2) empty shells of caliber 45. The victim together with his wife and father
crashed to the ground after the said incident while the suspects fled towards
unknown direction. They were brought by the concerned citizen to Jamelarin
Hospital for immediate medication but victim declared dead on arrival by his
attending physician while his wife and his father incurred minor injuries. The
Pagadian City Police is now conducting thorough investigation for possible arrest
of the suspect. The possible motive being looked into is revenge due to his
being a former confidential informant.

in Labangan
Shooting incident occurred at about 11:45 PM of May 9, 2015
at Purok Katedtuan, Barangay New Labangan, Labangan in Zamboanga Del Sur. The
victim was identified as Salemar Comen Y Amen, 38 yrs. old and a resident of
the aforesaid place. He was shot to death by suspect identified as Suhud Mamasalagat with the used of .45 Cal pistol
based on the recovered one empty shell at the crime scene. Investigation conducted
disclosed that the victim refuses to
sell a tuba wine to the suspect due to unavailability but the latter got mad
and suddenly drew his firearm and shoot the victim hitting at her upper right
back waistline and exited at the
right portion of her stomach. He was brought to Cabahug Hospital for
treatment but declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. The suspect
fled towards unknown direction after the incident. The elements of Labangan MPS
are now conducting hot pursuit operation against the suspect.
