ROBBERY HOLD-UP INCIDENT
On or about 8:00 in the evening of September
25, 2014, a certain boy minor 13 years old, student and a
resident of Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur and temporarily residing At Purok
Papaya, Lumbia District, Pagadian City personally came and reported to Pagdian
City Police Station that on or about 6:50 in the evening of September 25, 2014
while he was walking from his apartment and upon reaching at Urro
St., Sta Maria District, Pagadian City two unidentified suspects on board
single motorcycle Honda Wave color blue with plate number SF-9809 armed with
unknown type of firearms suddenly came and declared hold-up. suspects took the victim’s samsung
tablet. Victim immediately proceeded to Pagadian City Police Station to report
the incident. Intelligence operatives of Pagadian City Police Station immediately
conducted discreet investigation, also PNP personnel and Compacs conducted
checkpoints to possibly apprehend the perpetrators. The plate number of the
suspects motorcycle is subject for verification at LTO office.
Shooting Incident in Bayog
Shooting
Incident transpired at Purok 5, Barangay Canoayan, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur at
about 5:30 AM of September 26, 2014. The victim was identified as Edgar Lumayan
y Bacang, 46 years old, married, farmer and a resident of the above
mentioned-place. He was shot to death by two unidentified suspects with the use
of M16 and M14 firearm as per fired cartridge cases recovered from the crime
scene. Victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of his body
that caused his instantaneous death. Initial investigation conducted by the
Bayog Police disclosed that the victim was on his way from his temporary
residence in Purok 4 also of barangay Canoayan going to his permanent residence
in Purok 5 when waylaid and shot by the suspects who cover their faces and immediately
fled to unknown direction after the incident. Primary motive of the incident is
allegedly personal grudge.
Robbery in Pagadian City
Robbery
and ransacked incident occurred at about 3:00 PM of September 26, 2014, wherein
the rented room of Ronie Manit located at automotive shop in Barangay Sta.
Maria, Pagadian City. investigation conducted by Pagadian City Police Station
disclosed that wife of the aforesaid victim was tasked by his husband to get
some documents inside his rented room of said house when she discovered that
the padlock of said room was forcibly destroyed and replaced by other padlock
and upon getting the chance suspect carted away one (1) unit power planer J.C
Kawasaki brand and one (1) set automotive mechanic tools. PNP elements of Pagadian
City Police Station now conducted a follow - up investigation for the possible arrest
of suspect.
2 Jobless Held in Pagadian City for
Stealing Plants
A
jobless woman and teenager were arrested by the operatives of Pagadian City
Police Station and Barangay Officials after he was caught stealing and pulling
out some plants in the island along FS Pajares Avenue going to Rotonda,
Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City at about 10:20 PM of September 26, 2014.
Arrested were identified as Elvie Mohammad Y Casamayor, 47, married, jobless
and a resident of Barangay Sta. Maria, Pagadian City and Robert Bansales Y
Aguilar., 18, single, jobless and a resident of Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay. Said
plants were owned by the city government of Pagadian City. Both suspects were
temp detained at the mentioned police station while case for theft now being
prepared for filing in court against them.
Truck Held in Labangan
for Carrying Suspicious Chemicals
Operatives
of Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Public Safety Company held a private vehicle
after a suspicious assorted liquids/chemical with no label placed in a plastic
container was found in an Isuzu Truck in Barangay Dalapang, Labangan, Zamboanga
Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of September 26, 2014. The Isuzu forward truck bearing
plate number YFT 882 bound from Zamboanga City to Davao City and driven by Joeliver
Villanueva Delos Reyes. The truck driver failed to present any pertinent
documents on their cargo which prompted the PNP elements to checked the truck
in plain view and found out a suspicious smell of a chemical. At that juncture,
the driver asked to show their cargo and found out that they are carrying
suspicious assorted liquids/chemical with no label placed in a plastic
container. The truck driver and his companion are now temporarily detained at Zamboanga
Del Sur Police Office for proper disposition while the suspicious assorted
liquid chemicals is also under the custody of said police station for submission
to the PNP Crime Laboratory for examination
Shooting in Tukuran
Shooting
incident occurred at about 7:00 AM of September 27, 2014 at Barangay Sto. Rosario,
Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Emerito Renit Y Nilla
of legal, married, farmer and a resident of said place. He was shot by Jeffrey
Bajao Y Lucero, 30, married, a Barangay Tanod and a resident of the aforesaid
place with the used of caliber .357 revolver. Investigation showed that prior
to the incident; the aforesaid victim got wild and intentionally damaged the
vegetable garden owned by the suspect and violently hacked his cared four goats.
He then got unruly and brandishing a bolo and challenging a fight to death to
anyone. Meanwhile, responding Barangay Chairman Junelito Lucero Y Tundag mustered
his five Barangay Tanods including the aforesaid suspect and tried to pacify
the situation. They asked the victim to calm down and to surrender the bolo,
however, the victim ignored them and did not heed to surrender but instead he rushed
towards their positions brandishing a bolo prompting them to scamper for safety
to avoid such attacked. The victim attacked and tries to hack the suspect which
prompted him to defend himself using his handgun and shot once the victim in
his legs in order to neutralized but instead it hit on the left pelvis that caused
the victim to fell down on the ground with blood oozing on his wound and still
alive. At that juncture, they tried to bring the victim to the hospital in Pagadian
City carried in an improvised blanket swing with long bamboo pole and travelled
by foot approximately five kilometers on a hilly place; however, upon reaching
at Purok Rosal in Barangay Camanga, Tukuran, they noticed that the victim was
already dead. Meanwhile, the suspect was brought and detained at the Tukuran
Police Station for proper case disposition.
Vessel loaded with
Smuggles Rice Held
PNP
elements of Margosatubig Police Station together with elements of 53rd Infantry
Battalion, Phil. Army were able to hold a vessel M/V Amenia at Margosatubig
Port at about 12:30 PM of September 27, 2014. The vessel was loaded with more
or less eight thousand (8,000) bags of rice believed to be smuggled from the
port of Taganak In Tawi- Tawi. Accordingly, the vessel sailed from the Port of
Taganak piloted by boat captain Jade Jackaria with license number 9089-47
sometime on September 24, 2014 towards Margosatubig Port. Meanwhile, the PNP elements
of Margosatubig Police Station are waiting for the personnel of Bureaus of
Customs and NFA for proper case disposition.

On or
about 7:00 in the morning of September 27, 2014 at Purok Malipayon, Barangay
Sto. Rosario, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Emerito
Renit Y Nilla, legal age, married, farmer and resident of same place was shot
by suspect identified as Jeffrey Bajao Y Lucero, 30 years old, married, Barangay
Tanod and a resident of the aforesaid place
using caliber .357 revolver. request be informed that on or about 3:00 in
the afternoon of September 28, 2014, Barangay Tanods Giovani Quiño and Sonny
Tundag personally appeared and turned-over to Tukuran Police Station the
following: one (1) unit caliber .357 revolver (homemade) with defaced serial
number with one (1) fired cartridge case
of caliber .38 revolver; three (3) live ammos of caliber .357; one (1) live
ammo of caliber .38; and one (1) sharp
scythe measuring approximately 25 inches long
owned/slant used by the victim. an inquest case for homicide was filed before the Provincial
Prosecution Office, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur dated September 28, 2014 against the suspect
Jeffrey L. Bajao but the latter opted to voluntarily sign a waiver requesting
for a preliminary investigation of the case docketed under inquest case no.
ix-09-inq-14g-00173. Suspect still temporary detained at Tukuran Police Station
lock-up cell awaiting court disposition.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST
LOOSE FIREARM AND ARREST OF SUSPECT
On or about 12:00 midnight of September 27, 2014,
Pagadian City Police Station received a text message from certain Rey Alcarde
informing that a an unidentified person
who was armed with a caliber 45 pistol suddenly threaten and pointed said
handgun towards him at FS Pajares Avenue, Barangay Gatas District, Pagadian
City. PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station led by SPO2 Simeon Jumawan,
immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident purposely to verify and
arrest suspect if found to have been committed a crime. Upon arrival of the
responding team, suspect tried to elude arrest using his single motorcycle as
get away but same was arrested thru hot pursuit operation conducted at FS
Pajares Avenue Corner Mercedes St., Barangay San Jose Pagadian City.
investigation conducted by Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that said
victim together with his two (2)
companions identified as Manolo Fortich and Joe Marvin Catinan Y Dumate were
sleeping in the front seat of their truck that was parked in front of health
office located at FS Pajares Avenue, Barangay Gatas District Pagadian City when
abovementioned suspect who was armed with caliber .45 pistol suddenly disembarked
from his driven single motorcycle Honda Wave and knocked the door of said truck
and pretended to be a law enforcer and same gun pointed towards the victims and
subsequently search the body to include his immediate surroundings and driver
seat. Fortunately, one of the victims identified as Rey Alcarde was able to
send a text message to the hotline of the PNP and same was acted immediately
that resulted to the arrest of the aforesaid suspect. confiscated from his
possession and control are the following: one (1) unit caliber.45 pistol with
SN 249926; one (1) magazine assembly loaded with two (2) ammos of same caliber;
one (1) sling bag color brown containing twenty two (22) pcs fired cartridge
case of same caliber: three (3) pcs
fired cartridge case of caliber 9mm; several receipts; identification cards; one
(1) firearm silencer recovered inside the u-box of his ridden motorcycle.
Suspect is now temporary detained at Pagadian City Police Station locked-up
cell while an appropriate case for violation of R.A. 10591 and grave coercion
was being prepared for filing in court.
