Tukuran Drug Pusher Busted

A 32 years old Jobless was arrested by the operatives of Tukuran Police Station during Drug Buy-bust operation in Barangay Militar, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:20 PM of September 6, 2014. Arrested was Floreto Padilla Jr. Y Capundag aka RJ, 32 years old, jobless and a resident of said place. confiscated from his possession and control are three (3) pcs of small plastic heat sealed sachets containing white crystalline believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as Shabu; three (3) small empty plastic heat sealed plastic sachets; one (1) big plastic heat sealed sachets containing several aluminum foils; one (1) sheet of aluminum foil with roller; five (5) pcs rolled aluminum foils; one (1) disposable lighter color orange with attached needled foil; one (1) unit cellphone cherry mobile b5 color pink; one (1) pc of cartoon rectangular shape; and two (2) pcs one hundred peso bills bearing serial numbers wk363840 and zz217440 respectively used as mark money. Suspect is now temporarily detained at Tukuran Police Station while an appropriate case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.

Shooting Incident in Dinas

Shooting incident occurred at about 7:00 PM of September 7, 2014 in Barangay ludiong, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur. The victims were identified as Rey Bacangoy y Aboga-a, 41 years old, married, and Ronald Saguindang Y Patulumban, 20 years old, single, both resident of mentioned Barangay. They were shot by the identified suspect as one Hon. Edie Guera Y Embodo, 44 years old, married, Barangay councilor of Barangay Ludiong and resident of said place. initial investigation revealed that the victims were seated outside the bench of the victim house when the suspect suddenly appeared believed to be under influence of intoxicating liquor and without any apparent reason shot the victims several times using undetermined caliber hitting at the abdomen of Rey Bacangoy while Ronald Saguindang was also hit at once in his right leg. They sustained gunshot wounds and were simultaneously brought to Chavez Medical Clinic for immediate medical treatment. The suspect fled away to unknown direction and disappeared. The motive of the incident is personal grudge. The Dinas Police Station is still conducting hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the suspect.

Farmer Arrested in San Miguel for Violation of RA 10591     

A farmer was arrested at about 7:50 AM of September 7, 2014 during the implementation of search warrant against him in his residence at Barangay Betinan, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur.  Romeo Mañego Calunod “aka Lumer”, 38, farmer, married, did not resist the San Miguel Police after it effect the search and seizure by virtue of search warrant no. 168 issued by Hon Joel Vercide, Presiding Judge, Municipal Trial Court in the cities, Branch 1, Pagadian City. Suspect was arrested for violation of republic act no. 8294 as amended by Republic Act 10591. confiscated from his possession and control 12 gauge shotgun (homemade) deface serial number with three (3) live ammo tucked in one (1) magazine and one (1) fired shell; one (1) unit caliber S&W 357 revolver, deface serial number with four (4) live ammo; and two (2) pcs heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu and two (2) aluminum foil. Arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at San Miguel Police Station for proper disposition while appropriate case is being prepared against the suspect for immediate filing in court.
