PRESS RELEASE
Hacking Incident in San Pablo

Hacking incident occurred at about 10:00 AM of August 30, 2014 in Barangay Sacbulan, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Rodelio Copio Y Malongo, 27, single, resident of said place. He was hacked and chopped into pieces with the use of a bladed weapon by suspect identified as Lorenzo Biñan Jr @ Junjun, also a resident of said place. Investigation showed that the victim was at the house of Lorenzo Biñan and Jerame Biñan at about 9:00 PM of August 29, 2014 to take a rest before the incident took place; however, the family of the victim was worried when he did not come home on the following day. They decided to look for him and at around 10:00 AM of August 30, 2014, they found the dead body of victim in the bushy area 100 meters away from the resident of Lorenzo Biñan. The victim was hacked and chopped into pieces. The San Pablo Police Station is now conducting thorough investigation for the apprehension of the suspect. 

CAMPAIGN ON LOOSE FIREARMS 

 On or about 10:30 in the evening of August 30, 2014, alert team ZDSPPO led by PInsp Mark Gerome Penados Nebria, personnel from PIDMB, elements from ZSPPSC led by PInsp Jaime Cubilla and CIDG-ZDS personnel led by PO3 Roger Hortillas conducted oplan bakal/sita operation at Purok Sweetlove, Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City and successfully arrested Abraham Santua Abdullah @ “Abraham” and Frederick Sotto Tejano @ “Bai-bai” for violation of republic act 10591 and Republic Act 9516. Confiscated from the possession and control of Abraham Santua Abdullah @ “Abraham” are the following; one (1) .38 caliber revolver with defaced serial number and one (1) hand grenade while recovered from the possession and control of Frederick Sotto Tejano @ “Bai-bai” was one (1) MK IV .45 caliber pistol bearing serial number #2 890135. Arrested suspects are now temporary detained at ZSPPO locked-up cell for proper disposition while appropriate case is now being for immediate filing in court.

 

SUICIDE INCIDENT

On or about 6:30 in the morning of August 31, 2014 at Barangay Guma, Midsalip Zamboanga Del Sur, certain Rechel Gargar, barangay chairman  of the above place reported to Midsalip Police Station informing that there was a suicide incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Guma, Midsalip Zamboanga Del Sur. immediately PNP elements of Midsalip Police Station led by SPO4 Eulogio Aballe proceeded to the above place to conduct investigation pd responding PNP personnel identified the victim as one Gabriel Obejero Y Ritcha, 30 years old, married and a of same barangay already hanging dead on a Santol tree with the used of nylon cord. Investigation further disclosed that prior to the incident; victim was having drinking spree at the house of his friends and was just discovered committed suicide on the following day by the barangay captain. Motive of the incident is still to be investigated. Body of victim now lies on his residence. Investigator on case is PO3 Julie R Capangpangan with contact no nr 09127382460.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUG
On or about 3:00 in the afternoon of August 31, 2014, PNP elements of PAIDSOTF led by PSInsp Gerald Pilapil Aranas conducted a buy-bust  operation at the vicinity of  Plaza Luz, Pagadian City that resulted to the arrest one (1) Journey Aballe Regis, 21 years old, single, a resident of Ozamis City when agreed to sell and deliver to PO1 Oliver B Andale (poseur buyer)  two (2) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu in exchange for Five Hundred Pesos (Php 500.00) buy-bust money. Recovered from the suspect one (1) pc medium size heat sealed a transparent plastic sachet which is believed to be shabu and said buy-bust money with SN PJ23711. Arrested person now temporary detailed at ZSPPO locked-up cell while a case for violation of sec 5 and sec 11, art II of R.A. 9165 now being prepared for immediate filing in court. On or about 11:45 in the morning of August 31, 2014, PNP elements of PAIDSOTF led by PSInsp Gerald Pilapil Aranas  conducted a buy-bust operation at the vicinity of Wharf Area, Purok Bagong Silang, Sta. Lucia District, Pagadian City that resulted to the arrest of one (1) Julster Templa Y Pede @ Jojo, 32 years old, single, PNP member assigned at margosatubig police station, margosatubig, zamboanga del sur and a resident of Purok Bougainvilla, San Pedro District, Pagadian City when agreed to sell and deliver to SPO2 Melbourne M Mangubat  (poseur buyer) and his CI two(2) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu put inside a regular  size transparent sachet in exchange for Five Hundred Pesos (Php 500.00) buy-bust money.  Recovered from the possession and control of the suspect were three (3) pcs One Hundred Peso Bill (Php 100.00) with SN PF858510 buy-bust money. Arrested person now temporary detained at ZSPPO locked-up cell a case for violation of sec 5 and sec 11, art II of R.A. 9165 now being prepared for immediate filing in court.

On or about 11:45 in the evening of August 31, 2014 at Tawagan Sur Bus Stop Terminal, Baranagay Tawagan, Pagadian City. PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station led by PSInsp Rommel Gabriel Etbew, intelligence officer conducted drug buy- bust operation at the abovementioned place which resulted the arrest of one(1) Lito Bacalso Y Casipong, 21 years old, male, habal-habal driver and a resident of Purok Esmeralda, San Jose, Pagadian City. Confiscated from his possession and control are the following: ten (10) pcs  small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white  crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; ten (10) pcs aluminum foils; and two hundred peso bill served as marked money. Suspect is now temporary detained at Pagadian City Police Station lock-up cell while a case is now being prepared for filing at prosecutor’s office. FOUND DEAD BODY

On or about 11:00 in the evening of August 31, 2014, a mobilephone call received by Tukuran Police Station from a concerned citizen that a male dead body was found at the side of the concrete pavement along the national highway situated at Purok Bombil, Barangay Sugod, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur bathed with his own blood. PNP elements of Tukuran Police Station immediately proceeded to said place to conduct ocular inspection and investigation. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that, on or about 8:30 in the evening of same date, a resident thereby heard a gun burst from said place which prompted them to verify and there they found male person lying on the pavement road of abovementioned place wherein both hands were tied up on his back with a bag strap. Description of the victim was approximately 20-25 years of age, about 5’6” in height, medium built, with fair complexion, wearing black jogging pants with t-shirt color black and red combination and bull cup color black. Victim sustained gunshot wounds that exited on his head that caused his untimely death. Recovered from the crime scene was one (1) fire cartridge of caliber .45. Tukuran Police Station now conducting thorough investigation for the possible identity and apprehension of the suspect and identity the victim.  Motive of the incident still to be determine.
