VEHICULAR ACCIDENT
VEHICULAR ACCIDENT
On or about
3:15 in the afternoon of September 13, 2014, in front of Governors Garden, Dao
Complex, Pagadian City wherein victim identified as one Rina Jane Tabig
Secretaria, a resident of Sacred
Heart, Barangay Cuamboga, Tagum City was accidentally hit by a Mazda 2.4D Sedan,
bearing plate nr KGS-787, driven by the owner Mario Shoji Romarate Y Naranjo,
employee of Deped Regional Office IX and a resident of Consolacion Street, Balangasan,
Pagadian City. Victim sustained injuries on the different parts of her body and
was immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City
for immediate medical treatment. Both parties involved are agreed for amicable
settlement. The driver/owner of the said vehicle agrees to shoulder all the
financial expenses and medication necessary for fast recovery of the victim.
OPERATIONAL
ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS
CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS
On or about
12:30h in the afternoon of September 13, 2014, joint elements of Provincial
Intelligence Branch (PIB) led by PCInsp Modhin Acub Pantaran, personnel from
Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (PAIDSOTF),
Zamboanga Del Sur, elements of Bayog Police Station and elements of PDEA,
Zamboanga Del Sur conducted a drug buy- bust operation at Poblacion, Bayog,
Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the arrest of Julito Aragon Matias aka
Dungol, brother of incumbent Vice Mayor
of Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur, when said suspect agreed to sell and deliver to a
PDEA agent acted as poseur buyer of one (1) heat sealed transparent plastic
sachet containing white crystalline substance locally known as shabu in
exchange for Php500.00 buy-bust money with an estimated weight of 0.01 gram.
further confiscated from the said suspect were Thirty (30) heat sealed
transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to
be shabu with an estimated total weight of 0.30 grams. Suspect is now temporarily
detained at PDEA locked-up cell while a case for violation of sec 5 and 11
Article II of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filling in court.
Shooting
Incident in Molave
Shooting incident occurred at about
5:45 PM of September 14, 2014 at Tulay Ng Pangulo in Purok Dahlia, Barangay
Maloloy-On, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Jonathan
Abarquez Gaviola aka Jojo, 27 years old, married, businessman by occupation and
resident of said place. He was shot to death by an unidentified suspect using
caliber 45 pistol based on the recovered fired cartridge case of same caliber
at the crime scene. investigation conducted by Molave Police Station disclosed
that the victim together with his children were walking on their way home
coming from public market of said place when an unidentified suspect suddenly
appeared from behind and shot him several times hitting on the different parts
of his body and head while his children were not hit nor injured. During the
incident, one member of citizen crime watch (CCW) identified as Eduardo Marata
Adayo who was detailed and assigned at the outpost beside the Tulay Ng Pangulo
of said place immediately responded at the place of incident, however, he was
also shot by suspect hitting on his left leg. Both victims were rushed to Salug
Valley Medical Center for immediate medical treatment but victim Jonathan
Abarquez Gaviola was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician while
Eduardo Marata Adayo was medically treated and is now in stable condition. The
suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident while PNP elements of
Molave Police Station now conducted follow- up operation for the possible
arrest of suspect. The evidence recovered from the crime scene are six fired
cartridge case of caliber 45 pistol and to be turned- over to provincial crime
lab for ballistic exam.
Smashing
Incident in Pitogo
Smashing incident occurred at about
6:00 AM of September 14, 2014 at Barangay Lower Panikian, Pitogo in Zamboanga
Del Sur. The victim was identified as Mario Buhat, 57 years old, married,
resident of said place. He was stoned to death by suspect identified as
Bernardo Flor Y Ardenio, 34 years old, married and a resident of afore-said
place. Investigation conducted by Pitogo Police disclosed that said victim was
on his farm located at Barangay Panikian when suspect suddenly appeared from
behind and without any apparent reason smashed the victim’s head with the use
of a stone. Victim sustained injuries on his head that resulted to his untimely
death while suspect was arrested and apprehended by the Barangay Tanod. Suspect
was turned- over to Pitogo Police station for detention and filing of
appropriate case in court
Ransack Incident in Pagadian City
Robbery/ransack incident occurred at about 7:15 PM of September 14, 2014 as reported by Margie Combis Yonson, 27, female, single, an Overseas Filipino Worker and resident of San Pedro District, Pagadian City. Accordingly, she and her sister identified as Charito Combis discovered that their boarding house located at the abovementioned place was allegedly robbed by unidentified suspect while they were not around. Suspect/s carted away one unit Toshiba laptop, one unit asus laptop and one unit tablet. Initial investigation conducted by the responding PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that the suspects gained entry by forcibly opening the main door of their rented room. The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting follow- up investigation to possibly identify the suspects.
