REPORTED INCIDENTS-October 10-11-12, 2014

ROBBERY INCIDENTS 
On or about 12:20 in the afternoon of October 10, 2014, one (1) Celso Cabiguin Y Reyes, legal age, married, resident of Purok Fatima, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur personally appeared and reported to Pagadian City Police Station informing that the residential house of her daughter identified as Maricel Bajo Y Cabiguin located at Block 4, Lot2 Brent Wood Subdivision, Barangay Kagawasan Of Pagadian City was robbed/ ransacked by an unidentified suspect. Investigation conducted by Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that suspect gain entrance by removing the glass window of said house and upon getting the chance carted away cash money amounting to more or less Three Thousand Pesos (Php 3,000) and other valuable items with no exact value and still to be determined. PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station conducted a follow-up investigation for the possible identity and arrest of suspect and file appropriate case in court if evidence warrant.

Shooting in Pagadian City

Shooting incident transpired at about 7:30 AM of October 11, 2014 in Barangay Lison, Pagadian City. The victims were identified as Rikito Bawan Y Salibulan and Ginira Bawan Y Balibis, both of legal age, farmers, and resident of said place. They were having a drinking spree at the kiosk located at the above-mentioned place when an unidentified suspect who was armed with undetermined caliber of short firearm suddenly appeared and shot the two victims several times without any apparent reason. The victim Rikito Bawan Y Salibulan sustained several gunshot wounds on his body that resulted to his instantaneous death while the other victim identified as Ginira Bawan Y Balibis sustained gunshot wound on his left leg and exited to his right leg and he was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for immediate medical treatment. The motive of the incident believed to be personal grudge considering that abovementioned victim Rikito Bawan was allegedly involved in the shooting incident transpired sometime on 19 August 2014 at the above-mentioned place. The Pagadian City Police Station now conducted a follow - up investigation for the possible arrest of suspect.

Man Facing Theft Charges Nabbed in Buug

Operatives of Buug Police Station and RPSB9, 2nd Platoon Company were able to intercepted and arrest Sadat Palada y Saberam, 35 years old, male, married, resident of Purok Waling-Waling, Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:00 PM of October 12, 2014 in Barangay Poblacion, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay. He was nabbed by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest in Criminal Case no. 8589-2k7 for Qualified Theft issued by Hon. Rolando L. Goan, presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 19, Pagadian City. Suspect is now under custody of Buug Police Station and prior turn-over at Pagadian City Provincial Prosecutor’s Office for proper disposition.

Shooting in Pagadian City

Shooting incident occurred at about 11:30 AM of October 12, 2014 at Purok Antoriom, Tawagan Sur, Pagadian City. The victim was identified as Jerwin Dayondon Y Polinar, 20, single, resident of abovementioned place. He was shot to death by two (2) unidentified suspects using caliber 45 pistol, based on the investigation conducted by Pagadian City Police, prior to the incident, the victim was on his house of said place when the two (2) unidentified suspects arrived outside his house and asked the former (victim) if certain Abdul have passed by in his residence. A few minutes later, one of the suspects approached the victim and shot him on his head. Both suspects immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident. The PNP elements of Pagadian City Police now conducted a follow- up investigation for the possible arrest of suspects. Recovered from the crime scene are three (3) fired cartridge case and two (2) deformed slug of said caliber. 

Indiscriminate Firing in Pagadian City

An indiscriminate firing incident occurred at about 1:30 PM of October 12, 2014 inside the premises of Cebuana Lhuiller located at FS Fajares Branch, Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City. Based on the investigation launched by the PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police that one (1) security guard identified as Joemar Navaja Y Jumalon, 24, single, resident of Barangay Banale, Pagadian City, accidentally fired his issued service firearm while rendering his duty (12 gauge shotgun armscor brand bearing serial number 1066682). The said firearm was sling by the said security guard on his shoulder while performing his duty inside the said establishment when accidentally fired once hitting first the tiled floor and then ricocheted, which incidentally hits three costumers. The three victims were identified as Josephine Y Fuentes, 44, Jessa Larutin Y Cabug-Os, legal age, eight months pregnant and Sammy Lee Y Cabug-Os, 29, a businesswoman. all victims were slightly wounded and was immediately brought to nearest hospital for medical treatment. The security guard was arrested by the responding PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station and now temporarily detained at the said police station while a case for reckless imprudence resulting in physical injuries is now being prepared for filing in court against the suspect.

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS

No. 2 Most Wanted in Iligan City Nabbed in San Pablo

PNP elements of Iligan Police Station and San Pablo Police Station arrested two wanted person who were facing a robbery with homicide charges during the joints operation in Barangay Sagasan, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 AM of October 12, 2014. Harold Tioc y Dayao, legal age, did not resist the arrest after the said police stations serve and affect the arrest warrant against him. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of robbery with homicide issued by Hon Oscar Badelles, Regional Trial Court, Branch 06, Iligan City Docketed under criminal case number 06-7877 with no bail recommended. The arrested suspect was considered as 2nd most wanted person in Iligan City.
