VEHICULAR ACCIDENT in Pqagadian City
On or about 11:20 in the morning of October 15, 2014, Pagadian City Police Station received a radio call from PInsp HARRY RATUNIL VELEZ informing that a vehicular accident transpired in front of Camp Abelon Elementary School, Lumbia District, Pagadian City. Immediately, PNP traffic personnel of Pagadian City Police Station led by PInsp Harry Ratunil Velez under the direction PSupt Glenn Macario Dulawan proceeded to the said area to conduct ocular investigation. investigation disclosed that at about 11:15 in the morning of same date, two students of the above-mentioned place identified as Daryl Perio-Perio Y Lumacang, 7 years old, grade two pupil and a resident of Purok Bayabas, Lumbia District, Pagadian City and Alberto Fiel Y Apog, 7 years old, grade two pupil and a resident of Pulmones Compound, Purok Malagkit Tiguma, Pagadian City were accidentally hit by a Rural Bus bearing bus number 9162 with plate number JVH-298, driven by Ariel Cabato Lador, 46 years old, a resident of Ramos St., Molave Zamboanga Del Sur. further investigation disclosed that the said victims were coming out from their school and while attempting to cross FS Fajares Avenue through the pedestrian lane in front of the main gate of the said school they were hit by the said bus. The said bus was negotiating from Ozamis City going to Pagadian City. Victims were rushed to Pagadian City Metro Doctors Hospital for immediate treatment. Victim Daryl Perio-Perio was pronounced dead on arrival by his attending physician while the other victim is in critical condition and at about 1:20 in the afternoon of same date was transferred to Pagadian City Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City. The said driver is now under the custody of Pagadian City Police Station while appropriate case is being prepared for immediate filing in court.

Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur
On or about 10:35 in the evening of
October 15, 2014 former Barangay Kagawad Danillo Suganob reported to Tigbao
Police Station thru cellphone call informing that on or about 10:30 in the
evening of October 15, 2014, a passenger rural bus has fell down at along the
national highway of Barangay Maragang, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements
of Tigbao Police Station led by PSInsp Norbert F Velonza COP,
responded/proceeded to the aforementioned barangay to conduct an investigation.
Upon arrival thereat, the responding PNP personnel discovered/ found out that a

970, bearing with plate no JVH 435, registered under the name of Rural Transit
In Mindanao Inc., driven by Macario D Omac, 46 years old, equipped with
official driver’s license no j03-92-013790 and a resident of Barangay Santo
Niño, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur was already in a slope creek more or
less five (5) to ten (10) meters away
from the road. during the conduct of investigation, the driver Macario D Omac
and one (1) female passenger identified as Baharan Aurea Maulod of legal age,
OIC Provincial Officer of NCIP Basilan City died on the spot and seventeen (17)
other passengers sustained injuries and brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for
treatment identified as: one (1) Rolando
Sanico Simbahon, 30 years old, resident of Barangay Kalasan Pagadian City, a bus conductor; two (2) Rosally Ploya
Curaza, 32 years old, married, resident of Barangay Segapod Maigo Lanao Del
Norte; three (3) Robert Alvin Baylon Balahim, 26 years old, married, resident of
Barangay Sinunuc Zamboanga City; four (4) Rodeza Flomarie Tolete Ferrer, 22
years old, single, resident of Limon Drive, Tripplet Canelar, Zamboanga City;
five (5) Rodolfo Fernando Alfaro Jr., 33 years old, resident of Shanty Luyahan
Zamboanga City; six (6) Gregorio Robin
Salazar, 26 years old, single, resident of Barangay Bolong Zamboanga City;
seven (7) Engr. George Tangkapah Jocutan, 38 years old, married, resident of
Newslane Drive, Baliwasan Zamboanga City; eight (8) Retired Master Sgt Alberto
Tomoy Soria, 64 years old, married, resident of zone 8 Bagong Silang, Iligan
City; nine (9) Leokin Lim Kalbi, 65 years old, widow, resident of Bongao Tawi
Tawi, a teacher; ten (10) Saida Mohamad Lapasaran, 35 years old, married,
resident of Barangay Tiguma Pagadian City; eleven (11) Jose Tan, 25 years old,
married, resident of Zamboanga City; twelve (12) Efraim Mecines, 25 years old,
single, resident of North Cotabato;
thirteen (13) Luis C Dogoc, 51 years old, married, resident Of Purok
Piña Bangus St., Makugihon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur; fourteen (14) Lizabel
Caoile, 50 years old, married, resident of zamboanga city; fifteen (15) Leizyl
V Divinagracia, 28 years old, single resident of Gutalac Zamboanga Del Norte;
sixteen (16) Rey C Bentoy, 41 years old, married, resident of Veterans Drive
Lamitan City, Basilan and seventeen (17)
Yury Fajardo Gagarin, 34 years old, single, resident of Makati City. The
vehicle incurred heavy damaged and some of the personal belongings of the
passengers were left behind at the bus and were already damaged. investigation
further disclosed that the bus was travelling from Zamboanga City going to
Pagadian City and upon reaching at the curve road of the abovementioned place, the driver lost control
of the steering wheel and the bus was
already running outside the lane and bumped into a concrete house and finally
fell down to the very slope creek. Tigbao Police Station is now conducting
follow-up investigation and already coordinated with the manager of the Rural
Transit Bus for any assistance to the victims. The bus is still in area and
subject to be towed by the bus company.
Shooting
in Ramon Magsaysay
Shooting incident transpired at Barangay
Pasingkalan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:15 PM October 16,
2014. The victim was identified as Alias Jun Tulba Y Raganas, 31, married, jobless
of Bongbong, Ozamis City. He was shot to death by unidentified suspect. initial
investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was living temporarily at the
house of his uncle identified as Rodelio Tulba and while the victim was taking
his bath in the faucet along the roadside, suddenly four (4) unidentified
suspects wearing jackets and helmet riding two single Honda XRM color black
shot the victim at close range with the used of .45 cal pistol. He sustained
multiple gunshot wounds at the different parts of his body resulting to his instantaneous
death. The suspects fled towards unknown direction riding the same motorcycle heading
towards the direction of Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. Recovered from the crime
scene were six pieces empty shells of
caliber .45 and four (4) pcs slugs of
same caliber. The PNP of Ramon Magsaysay Police is now conducting follow up
investigation for possible identification of the suspects. The motive of the incident
is believed to be personal grudge.

in Ramon Magsaysay
Shooting incident transpired at Barangay
Esperanza, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:30 PM October 16,
2014. The victim was identified as Dominico Concordas Y Lorijo, 35, married, driver
of a Rural Bus Transit. He was shot to death by unidentified. Initial investigation
conducted by Ramon Magsaysay MPS disclosed that the victim was driving a rural
transit with bus no. 9102 bearing plate no. JVH 339 registered in the name of Rural
Transit Mindanao Inc, coming from Pagadian City going to Ozamis City and upon
reaching at the national highway of Barangay Switch, Ramon Magsaysay, unidentified
passenger wearing maong pants and white t-shirt who was seated on the third set
at the right portion behind requested the driver to stop. At that juncture,
suspect suddenly shot the driver several times using caliber .45 pistol. The victim
sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body and died
on the spot. The unidentified suspect fled towards unknown direction after the
incident. Recovered from the crime scene were three (3) empty shells of caliber
.45 while the PNP elements of Ramon Magsaysay MPS is now conducting hot pursuit
operation to trace the whereabouts and for possible identification of the
suspect with the motive of the incident believed to be personal.
Burglary
Incident in Pagadian
Burglary incident occurred at about
9:00 AM October 16, 2014, wherein one Hostea Poligrates Y Sebial, 23, branch
head of CDR king located at c3 mall 3rd floor, of Lion Kilat, San Pedro,
Pagadian City, when she was about to open the above mentioned establishment, she
noticed/discovered that the main entrance door of the said establishment was
broken. Investigation revealed that it’s not only the abovementioned store was
illegally entered and plundered by the unidentified suspects but also the
adjacent hero store. further investigation conducted disclosed that the two (2)
tenant stores (CDR king and Hero store) of c3 mall was entered by unidentified
suspects and plundered the merchandise and cash money of the said stores pd
suspect/s gained entry at the CDR king by breaking/destroying the glass main
entrance door using a piece of wood measuring 2x2x12 inches and successfully
took away one (1) unit CDR king cell phone that cost three thousand five
hundred eighty pesos (P3,580.00) and cash money amounting to thirty thousand
pesos (P30,000.00) while at the adjacent hero store, the suspects gained entry
by destroying the lock of the main door and took away one (1) unit galaxy v
cellphone that cost four thousand nine hundred ninety pesos (P4,990.00) and a cash
amounting to ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00). The Pagadian City Police investigation
section and the provincial crime laboratory is now conducting an in depth investigation
to possibly identified the perpetrators and to determine how they were able to
gained entry at the premises of C3 mall considering that the mall has been
fully secured by security guards and was thoroughly checked by the same before
they closes all the entrance and exits of the said establishment after the
mall/store hours.
Alleged
Arson with Suicide
An alleged arson with suicide occurred
at about 9:00 AM of October 16, 2014 in Barangay Rizal, Sominot, Zamboanga Del
Sur. wherein the house own by spouses Nemesio, 68 and Verginia Albaira Y
Bungales, 57, was razed by fire. Investigation conducted by Sominot MPS revealed
that Verginia Albaira left their house and went to Poblacion, Sominot to
withdraw the money from four p’s leaving along her husband who was presently
suffering from nervous breakdown/insanity. further investigation disclosed that
prior to the incident, the victim allegedly stated that he will commit suicide
and he want his wife to leave to refrain injury and not be involve to his evil
plan. The victim sustained burn of almost half of his body resulting to his instantaneous
death. The estimated damage were more or less twenty thousand pesos (P20,
000.00)
Conflagration
in Lakewood
Conflagration incident occurred at
about 8:50 AM October 16, 2014 at Barangay Biswangan, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del
Sur, wherein thirteen (13) residential houses were totally razed by fire. The
owners were identified as Jay-Ar Bambalan, Joel Bambalan, Elvie Gonzaga, Dodong
Catigum, Sonny Ampong, Nene Umbos, Joel Ungang, Larry Acosta, Bebing Manalo, Ronaldo
Ceño, Noel Lastimado and Arnel Dara. PNP elements of Lakewood MPS conducted
security at said place to prevent from looters that may take advantage of the
situation. Investigation conducted by the BFP disclosed that said incident
originated from the boarding house of certain Ronaldo Ceño @ Podin. The estimated
caused of damaged amounting to one million five hundred pesos (P1,000,000.00).
The cause of incident is still to be deterred by the BFP. No reported loss of
life/lives and only one civilian identified as Noel Lastimado sustained minor
skin burned.

Wanted Persons Nabbed; High-powered Firearms Seized
Two wanted persons were arrested while
several high-powered firearms and ammunitions were seized from them by the composite
PNP team of Zamboanga Del Sur Police Provincial Office, Western Mindanao
Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, Provincial Public Safety Company,
Provincial Anti-illegal drugs Special Operation Task Force, EOD team from Regional
Public Safety Battalion and PDEA personnel during the service of search warrant
against them in Barangay Poblacion and Barangay Binoatan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del
Sur at about 3:00 AM October 16, 2014. Arrested
were Abdulmaola Cagas Cosain, 35, resident of Barangay Binoatan, Dinas and
Manalao Abu Butito aka Nalao, 70, resident of Purok Pasayan, Dinas. The two were arrested based on the search
warrant numbers 169-180 for violation of illegal possession of firearms, ammunitions
and illegal drugs issued by Hon Joel G Vercide, Presiding Judge of MTCC, 9th Judicial
Region Branch 1, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur dated 14 October 2014. Seized
from their possession were one unit 5pd56mm rifle with serial number rp192185; one
unit caliber .45 pistol without make with serial no. 1011659; one unit caliber
.38 revolver pistol smith & Wesson without serial; one unit 22 rifle with
serial number 457201; one (1) h & r arms corp. 7.62 mm m14 rifle smcln two
hundred sixty five (265) live ammos of 5.56 mm; twenty four (24) live ammos of
caliber .45 pistol; nineteen (19) pieces live ammos for 7.62 mm; three (3) live
ammos for caliber .38 revolver pistol; black box containing rolled aluminum; two
(2) disposable lighters; assorted military uniforms; four (4) long magazine of
caliber .45 pistol; two (2) pieces m14 magazine; two (2) outside holster; two
(2) inside holster; one (1) set combat boots; one (1) side arm holster; one (1)
gun case; one (1) m16 bandolier; one (1) sling bag for caliber .45 pistol and
one (1) unit tablet with charger (Samsung). The two arrested persons are now
under the custody of the said police office while necessary documents are now
being prepared for immediate filing of cases in court against them.

Stabbing
incident took place at about 10:00 PM October 16, 2014 at Barangay Danlugan,
Dumingag, Zamboanga Del. The victim was identified as Francisco Rizaga, 57, married,
farmer and a resident of said place. He was stabbed by a suspect identified as Henry
Arapon Y Lubitaña of legal age, also farmer and a resident of said place.
Investigation conducted disclosed that the aforesaid victim were having a
birthday party at his residence and having a little drinking session together
with his family and visitors, however, he proceeded to the Barangay hall together
with his visitors for videoke session. Minute later, the suspect arrived and
joined them. After the drinking session they decided to go home, however, for
that instance, the other victim identified as Renerio Calante without knowing
that his father-in-law Francisco Rizaga was already stabbed by the suspect as
he sustained stabbed wound on the body, he approached and told the said suspect
to go home but he was suddenly stabbed by the suspect. He sustained stabbed
wounds on the different parts of his body. The suspect fled to unknown
direction after the incident. The two (2) victims were brought to the emergency
hospital in Ozamis City for medical treatment.

Request be informed that Dumingag Police Station filed two (2) cases against the accused Henry Arapon for the crimes of Attempted Homicide under c.c.# 2014-10-2892 and Frustrated Homicide under c.c.# 2014-10-2893 by inquest proceedings at RTC Br 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur thru Prosecutors Sub-Office at Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur of Hannibal R Morales 4th Assistant Provincial Prosecutor both cases have bail recommendation amounting to 12,000.00 and 24,000.00 pesos, respectively. The said accused voluntarily surrendered to barangay tanod member of Barangay Danlugan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur. Further, the two (2) victims Francisco Rizaga and Renerio Calante were still at Mhars Hospital Ozamis City for further medical treatment while the said accused was still detained at lock-up cell of Dumingag Police Station awaiting commitment order to be issued from the court.

PROGRESS REPORT ON STABBING INCIDENT
This pertains to the Stabbing Incident transpired on or about 11:00 in the evening of October 16, 2014 at Danlugan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victims identified as Francisco Rizaga and Renerio Calante were both stabbed by Henry Arapon Y Lubitaña. Request be informed that Dumingag Police Station filed two (2) cases against the accused Henry Arapon for the crimes of Attempted Homicide under c.c.# 2014-10-2892 and Frustrated Homicide under c.c.# 2014-10-2893 by inquest proceedings at RTC Br 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur thru Prosecutors Sub-Office at Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur of Hannibal R Morales 4th Assistant Provincial Prosecutor both cases have bail recommendation amounting to 12,000.00 and 24,000.00 pesos, respectively. 6 Minors Rescued In Pitogo
Six (6) potential victims of Human
Trafficking were rescued by the operatives of Provincial intelligence Branch,
Zamboanga Sibugay Police Office, Siay MPS, Pitogo MPS and MSWDO-Pitogo, at the
video - k house of Gloria Pacatang a.k.a. Nining and Sita Mandano situated at
Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 PM October 16,
2014. The rescued minors were identified as Julebe Paster Y Medellin , 16,
resident of Mahayahay, Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay;
Marelyn Balberde Y Dela Peña, 17, resident of Barangay Poblacion , Siay,
Zamboanga Sibugay ; Jhazel Mendoza, 18, resident of Alta Tierra, Barangay
Tiguma, Pagadian City; Mara Cabrera, 18, a resident of Barangay Balintawak ,
Pagadian City; King Ferraren, 20, a resident of Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian
City; and Renalyn Bacaron, 16, a resident of Barangay Ligwak, Pitogo, Zamboanga
Del Sur. The joint operation was conducted after the parents of the potential
tip victims identified as Vevencio Paster and Nilo Balberde both residents of
Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay reportedly seek assistance to Siay MPS and Provincial
intelligence Branch, Zamboanga Sibugay Police Office, about their daughters who were recruited without consent. The rescued minors are
presently under the custody of Pitogo MPS for further counseling by MSWDO prior
turn-over to their respective family.
