PRESS RELEASE
FOUND MALE DEAD BODY

On or about 6:30 in the morning of September 28, 2014, Dumingag Police Station received a cellular phone call from Edgar Tan, Barangay Chairman of Sinonok, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur informing that a male dead body identified as Rine Boy Vienes Apog, 33 years old, single, farmer, resident of said place was found dead at Barangay Sinonok, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Dumngag Police Station led by SPO4 Antonio Gutang, immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident purposely to verify and conduct investigation  if affirmative. Upon arrival of the responding team, abovementioned victim was found lying lifeless and sustained stabbed and hacked wounds on the different parts of his body. investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, at about 10:00 in the evening of September 27, 2014, victim was having a drinking  spree at the house of the abovementioned barangay chairman of said place together with his companions identified as Judy Vienes, Lito Bulawin, Pong Bulawin and Jun-Jun Bula-An, all resident of the abovementioned place. After their drinking session, victim along with his companions proceeded to the house of certain Nido Andayon for a dinner and subsequently went home. a few minutes later, victim returned to the house of Nido Andayon of said place purposely to find/get his slipper that was being left pd unfortunately, at around 6:30 in the morning on the following morning, said victim was found dead and sustained several stabbed and hacked wounds on the different parts of his body and believed was stabbed/hacked by an unidentified suspect while evidence recovered from the crime scene was one (1) hat color red. Upon investigation and verification made, it was found out later that the owner of said hat was identified as Romeo Rompas Paranguay. Said person was now under the custody of Dumingag Police Station for further investigation. PNP elements of Dumingag Police Station still conducted thorough investigation for the possible identity and arrest of suspect.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS

On or about 5:15 in the afternoon of September 28, 2014, PNP elements of San Miguel Police Station led by PO3 Renerio Lunjas Meraviles, conducted Anti-Dangerous Drug Buy-bust operation at Purok Lapu-Lapu, Poblacion San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the arrest of two (2) suspect identified as Ruland Haugin Sebilo aka dodo, 42 years old, married, jobless, resident of Barangay Bulawan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur and one (1) Richard Almirol Naong, 31 year old, married, jobless and resident of Barangay Betinan  of same municipality. Confiscated from the possession and control of Ruland Haugin Sebilo was one (1) piece small heat –sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to shabu and confiscated from the possession and control of Richard Almirol Naong was one (1) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to shabu. Confiscated items were to be turned-over to Provincial Crime Laboratory for confirmatory test.  Subject persons are now temporarily detained at San Miguel Police Station locked-up cell while an appropriate case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.

Wanted Person for attempted homicide arrested

PNP elements of San Pablo Municipal Police Station, Zamboanga del Sur led by SPO1 Allan Basil David from the direction of PSI Edgar Retuya Hinoctan, OIC proceeded to Brgy Marcos village, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur arrested Carmelito Golez y Abasiti aka Kiming, 46 years old, married and a resident of Sitio Banibad, Miasin, San Pablo, ZDS who is a wanted for attempted homicide docketed under criminal case number 3333-P. Suspect was arrested based on the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Pacifico T. Cimafranca, Jr. of 8^th MCTC of Dumalinao, Tigbao, San Pablo-Guipos, Dumalinao, ZDS. Suspect is detained at the said station for proper disposition.
