Man with Homicide Case Arrested

Operatives of Dinas Police Station arrested Rogelio Cahanap Bualat, 65, in Barangay Poblacion, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of October 2, 2014. He was arrested at his residence based on the standing warrant of arrest for the crime of homicide issued by Presiding Judge Edilberto Absin docketed under criminal case number 14-051. Woman Arrested for Estafa

PNP elements of Dumalinao Police Station arrested Norma Embudo Y Dela Cruz, 60 years old, married, in Poblacion, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:30 PM of October 2, 2014. Suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of estafa, issued by Hon Dennis V Vecoy of RTC, Branch 21, Pagadian City docketed under criminal case no. 8679-2k7. She posted a bail bond in the form of cash for her temporary liberty.

Security Guard Arrested for the Crime of Direct Assault

A 32 years old security guard was arrested by operatives of Molave Police Station in Barangay Maloloy-on, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:00 PM of October 2, 2014. Arrested was Ronald Jovan Y Migabon, 32 years old, married, security guard by occupation and resident of said place. He was arrested by virtue of alias warrant of arrest for the crime of direct assault upon person agent in authority issued by Hon Judge Aniceto B Galon, Acting Presiding Judge, MTC 9th Judicial Region, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under criminal case number 6094 dated 15th February 2012 with bail recommended amounted to (P12,000). He is now temporarily detained at the mentioned police station awaiting court disposition.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS

On or about 11:00 in the evening of October 02, 2014, elements of Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (PAIDSOFT), Zamboanga Del Sur led by PSInsp Rommel Gabriel Etbew together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Intelligence Operatives of Pagadian City Police Office, Pagadian City conducted a drug buy-bust/entrapment operation at the vicinity of Purok Osmena, Barangay Sto Niño, Pagadian City that resulted to the arrest of a certain Beverly Lisayao Bugaw when agreed to sell and deliver one (1) small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of shabu in exchange for Five Hundred Peso Bill (php 500.00) buy-bust money. Further, confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect were one (1) sack of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of five (5) grams more or less including sachet and the five hundred peso bill (Php 500.00) mark money. arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station lock-up cell while a case for violation of sec 5 and 11, art II of R.A. 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court. INCOUNTER INCIDENT IN SAN PABLO, ZDS

On or about 11:20 in the evening of October 02, 2014 at the sea water of Barangay Ticala Island, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein joint elements of San Pablo Police Station led by SPO1 Eleazar Fabriga Mantos and Bantay Dagat personnel of San Pablo Police Station led by SB member Ernesto Utlang based at Sagayadan Island, Buton, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur encountered unidentified fully armed men on board two (2) motorized pump boat while conducting seaborne patrol at the said place. Immediately, another team from San Pablo Police Station led by PSInsp Edgar Retuya Hinoctan, OIC proceeded to the aforesaid place for back-up and upon arrival thereat, the fire fight was already ceased. Investigation disclosed that while SPO1 Eleazar Fabriga Mantos with members of Bantay Dagat responded to the info received regarding the illegal fishing activity using compressor in the area, then and there said armed men fired towards the responding elements hitting their boarded patrol boat that prompted the latter to return fire. Fire fight lasted for three (3) minutes more or less. Suspects withdraw towards the seawater of Dimataling Zamboanga Del Sur after the incident. No casualty on both sides.  San Pablo Police Station is now conducting follow dash up investigation to identify the said armed men.

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON

On or about 1:30 in the afternoon of October 02, 2014, PNP elements of Dumalinao Police Station led by PSInsp Lee Eric Sale Humpa, COP proceeded to Barangay Camanga, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur and arrested one (1) Norma Embudo Y Dela Cruz, 60 years old, married, resident of aforesaid place. Subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Estafa, issued by Hon Dennis V Vecoy of RTC, Branch 21, Pagadian City docketed under cc no. 8679-2K7. Subject person subsequently posted a bail bond in the form of cash for her temporary liberty.

On or about 8:30 in the evening of October 02, 2014, PNP elements of Dinas Police Station led by PSInsp Ardee Oliver Oliveros, COP successfully arrested one (1) Rogelio Cahanap Bualat, 65 years old, resident of Poblacion Dinas, Dinas, Zambaonag Del Sur. Subject person voluntarily surrendered to the PNP elements of Dinas Police Station and same has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Homicide, issued by Presiding Judge Edilberto Absin, docketed under criminal case number 14-051. Accused is now temporarily detained at Dinas Police Station awaiting court disposition.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS, LOOSE FIREARMS AND AMMUNITIONS

On or about 3:30 in the afternoon of October 03, 2014, joint PNP elements of  PIB ZSPPO led by PInsp Juvic Daing Aballe, action officer together with PDEA and PAIDSOTF under the direct supervision and control of PCInsp Modhin Acub Pantaran, CPIB, conducted drug buy-bust operation particularly at Oberes Shop, Barangay Bulanit, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the apprehension of one (1) Jimkler Geguiera Y Tigley, 29 years old, single and a resident of Purok Mauswagun, Barangay Bulanit, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur when agreed to sell and deliver to PO3 Albert G Leonardo who posted as poseur buyer one (1) heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. Further, recovered from his possession and control one (1) heat sealed plastic sachet containing of same with an estimated weight of 0.75 grams, one (1) unit caliber .45 pistol (shooters) falcon Sam with serial nr F07051704, one (1) magazine assembly, eleven (11) live ammunitions for same caliber, one (1) unit cellphone BS mobile a10, one (1) unit single motorcycle Honda XRM color black without plate number and one (1) Five Hundred Peso bill as buy-bust money with serial nr RD721869. Seized items (suspected shabu and firearm) were brought to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office, Camp Abelon, Pagadian City for qualitative and ballistic exams. Arrested suspect is now temporary detained at Camp Abelon lock-up cell while case for violations of section 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591 are being prepared for immediate filing in court.

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON

On or about 1:45 in the afternoon of October 03, 2014, PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station led by SPO2 Carlos Dongon Omentic, warrant server conducted manhunt operation against wanted person at Purok 1, Barangay Lourdes, Pagadian City and successfully arrested one (1) Juanito Malacar Y Suan. subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest under cc nr 11762-2k14 for the crime of Rape in relation to R.A. 7610 issued by Hon Benjamin R Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City. No bail recommended for the provisional liberty of the accused. Arrested suspect is now temporary detained at Pagadian City Police Station lock-up cell awaiting commitment order from the court for proper disposition.
