REPORTED INCIDENTS – October 8-9, 2014

Shooting in Labangan       

Shooting incident occurred at about 8:00 PM of October 8, 2014 at Purok Mabuhay, Barangay Bulanit, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Saidaron Bago Y Tahir, 19, single, resident of Barangay Tawagan, Pagadian City. He was shot to death by an unidentified suspect using a caliber 45 pistol. Based on the investigation conducted by Labangan Police disclosed that the victim was at the Marilyn Angcap Store located at the abovementioned place purposely to buy a cigarette when the suspect armed with a caliber pistol arrived and shot the victim several times without any apparent reason. The victim sustained gunshot wounds on his head and different parts of his body that resulted to his untimely death. The suspect immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident onboard on an undetermined type of single motorcycle. The PNP of Labangan Police Station now conducted a follow- up investigation for the possible arrest of suspect. The evidence recovered from the crime scene are four (4) fired cartridge case of caliber 45 pistol and now under the custody of the said police station for subsequent submission to Provincial Crime Laboratory for ballistic examination.

Dead Body Recovered in Dinas

A male dead body was found at about 6:00 AM of October 8, 2014 beside the river of Purok Uno-A, Barangay Guinicolalay, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur. The cadaver was identified as Gracianne Sinco Rodriquez, 23, single, resident of Barangay Daplayan, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was found lying lifeless at the abovementioned place and sustained injuries on his head and believed was stroked by an unidentified suspect using a stone. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim attended the Barangay Fiesta of said place, however, upon going home was waylaid and stroked using a stone by an unidentified suspect. The PNP elements of Dinas Police Station now conducted a thorough investigation for the possible arrest of suspect.

                                    

Hacking in Dinas

Hacking incident transpired at about 1:30 PM of October 8, 2014 at Purok Rose, Barangay Migpulao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Mateo Lapad Tayroz Jr., 32, resident of said place. He was hacked by suspect identified as Rachel Aganus, legal age and resident of same place. Investigation conducted by Dinas Police Station disclosed that prior to the incident; both victim and suspect attended the Barangay fiesta of the abovementioned place. They allegedly believed to be under the influence of liquor and during the course of celebration, victim got wild for unknown reason and he was pacified by the suspect to calm down purposely to avoid trouble, however, he was misconstrued by the victim and thereby a heated argument ensued between them. At the height of their discussion, the suspect got a bolo and hacked the victim. He sustained hacked wounds on his right shoulder and right portion of his head and was rushed to Chavez Medical Clinic for immediate medical treatment while the suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. The Dinas Police Station now conducted a dragnet operation to possibly track down the fleeing suspect. The appropriate case is now being prepared for filing in court against the fleeing suspect.

                             

Shooting in Pagadian

Shooting incident transpired at Purok Stuvilla, Barangay Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City at around 9:25 PM of October 9, 2014.  The victim was identified as Jickler Duhaylungsod y Tubigon, 32, tricycle driver and a resident of Barangay Paglaum, Pagadian City. He was shot to death by unidentified suspect. Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was mauled by unidentified person, however, when he tried to escape, the suspect shot the victim several times hitting his head which caused his instantaneous death. The Pagadian City Police recovered four (4) fired cartridge cases of caliber 45 pistol including three (3) deformed slugs of same caliber and was subsequently submitted to the Provincial Crime Lab for ballistic examination. The cadaver of the victim now lies at Gamalinda Funeral Homes for post mortem examination.  The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting follow- up investigation to possibly arrest the suspect.

Vehicular Accident in Dumalinao

Vehicular accident occurred at about 6:30 PM of October 9, 2014 at Barangay Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. wherein one pedestrian identified as Juanita Patalan, 64, widow and a resident of same place was accidentally bumped and hit by a Honda hatchback bearing plate number YDA 248 color red, driven by Anecito Jr. Gutana Y Cobrado, 25, seaman and resident of Lala, Pagadian City. The vehicle negotiating the road from Pagadian City bound for Barangay Lala Pagadian City via Dumalinao, however, upon reaching at the above mentioned, the victim Juanita Patalan walking from one side crossed to other side was accidentally hit by the said vehicle. As a result, she sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot. The driver and his driven vehicle is now in the custody of Dumalinao Police Station for proper disposition.

Man with Theft Case Arrested in Pagadian

The Pagadian City Police Station nabbed Richman Dumaog Y Libor, 20, during the manhunt operation against wanted person at around 9:00am OF October 9, 2014 in Agora Complex, Public Market, Sta. Lucia District, Pagadian City. He was charged for the crime of theft docketed under criminal case number 11658-2k14 by virtue of warrant of arrest issued on September 02,  2014 by Hon Judge Romeo T Descallar of RTC 9th Judicial Region Branch 19, Pagadian City. The recommended bail bond for his temporary liberty is fixed to twenty thousand pesos (Php 20,000.00). he is now temporarily detained at said police station awaiting commitment order from the court concern.

Woman with Estafa Case Nabbed in Pagadian

The Pagadian City Police Station Arrested Maricel Varquez Y Requitillo, 34, during manhunt operation at around 6;00 PM of October 9, 2014 in San Jose Parish Church, san jose, pagadian city. The suspect was charged for the crime of illegal recruitment and Estafa with criminal case no. 14-306527-28 by virtue of warrant of arrest issued on July 01, 2014 by the Honorable Judge Felixberto Olalia Jr. of RTC National Capital Judicial Region. The bail bond is fixed to fifty six thousand pesos (Php 56,000.00).he is now being detained at the said police station awaiting commitment order from the court.

Robbery Incident in Aurora

Robbery incident transpired at about 12:25 PM of October 9, 2014 at Barangay La Victoria, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Erwin Delostrico Y Pajente, 29, married and a resident of Barangay Panaghiusa, Aurora. He was robbed by unidentified suspect. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was driving his single motorcycle from his residence going to Poblacion, Aurora, however, upon reaching at the abovementioned place of incident, the suspect who wearing white shirt and long pants with white cloth covering his face appeared from the right side of the road and struck him with alpha hard object hitting on his back just below his nape that cause him to fell down on the ground unconscious. When he gains consciousness with the help of his cousin, the victim noticed that his wallet containing nine thousand pesos (P9, 000.00) and different ID’s was lost. A thorough investigation is now being conducted by elements of Aurora Police for possible identification of the suspect.
