Alleged Discharged of
Firearm
An
alleged illegal discharge of firearm transpired at about 9:15 PM of October 4,
2014 at Purok Bakhaw in Barangay Kawit, Pagadian City. investigation conducted
by Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that two unidentified suspects allegedly
armed with undetermined caliber of short firearm fired their firearms towards
any direction of the abovementioned place and then immediately fled to unknown
direction after the incident, however, there were no evidence and fired
cartridge case recovered at the crime scene. The Pagadian City Police now conducted
follow- up investigation to possibly identify and arrest the suspects.
Man died after Strike with Hard Object
A
hollow block helper was killed after he was allegedly hit and strike by a hard
object by his fellow helper during their heated discussion in Barangay Tiguma,
Pagadian City at about 1:30 PM of October 4, 2014. Killed was Joel Bongcalot
Nawong, 42, married, helper and hollow blocks worker, native of Labangan,
Zamboanga Del Sur. The suspect was identified as Fernan Kepte, legal age, also
a hollow blocks maker and resident of same place. Investigation conducted by
Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that prior to the incident, both victim
and suspect were busy working on their work as hollow block maker when a misunderstanding
and heated argument ensued between them. At the height of their discussion, the
suspect got a hard object and hit the victim into his head which then resulted
to his untimely death. Suspect then immediately fled to unknown direction after
the incident. The Pagadian City Police is now conducting follow-up operation to
possibly locate and arrest the suspect.
Robbery in Pagadian City
Robbery
and ransacked incident occurred at about 5:00 PM of October 4, 2014 at Barangay
Dao, Pagadian City. Wherein the house of Emelyn Acapulco Caban located at the
abovementioned place was robbed and ransacked by unidentified suspects. Investigation
conducted disclosed that suspects gain entrance by forcibly destroying the door
of the comfort room of said house and upon getting the chance carted away installed
wiring of the house, decorative items, kitchens utensils and stainless pans.
The Pagadian City Police Station now conducted thorough
investigation for the possible arrest of suspect.
Vehicular Accident in Guipos
Vehicular
accident occurred at about 3:30 PM of October 4, 2014 along national highway
particularly at Purok Kabulakan, Barangay Canunan, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur,
wherein a passenger van Kia Besta color blue
with plate number WNG -710, driven by Saliling M. Sampang. Investigation
showed that the vehicle was travelling from Pagadian City toward Dimataling, and
upon reaching at aforementioned place; the vehicle suddenly loses its brake
which resulted the driver lost control in driving and swerved to the right side
of the road. It hit to the road sign post and finally turned turtle. The passengers
of said van were identified as Solaya Mamangkoni Y Macalma, 58, Amalia Alarcon
40, Jarate Damang Y Burong, 52, and Ebnie Milasan Y Malay, 49. The driver and
passengers were all injured and they immediately brought to Pagadian City for
medical treatment.
Stabbing Incident in Tabina
Stabbing incident took place at Purok Saniblangis, Barangay Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 PM of October 4, 2014. The victim was identified as Ruel Fuentes Y Begola, 25, a fish laborer and resident of Barangay Sumpot, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted by the Tabina Police disclosed that the aforesaid victim was on his way home from a drinking session at Vergara Store, however, upon reaching at the above mentioned place was waylaid by unidentified suspect and stabbed the victim several times. The victim sustained stabbed wounds on his left wrist and rushed to Tabina Municipal Health Center for medical treatment. The suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident while the Tabina Police is now conducting follow- up investigation to possibly identify the suspect as well as to know the motive of incident.

Man with Attempted Rape Case Nabbed
PNP
elements of Lapuyan Police Station arrested Chinito Tabada Y Diplon, legal age,
in the Poblacion market in Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of
October 4, 2014. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime
of attempted rape issued by Hon Judge Edilberto Absin Branch 29, San Miguel
docketed under criminal case number 09-088 with bail recommended amounted to
(P120,000) for his temporary liberty. Suspect is now temporarily detained at
Lapuyan Police Station awaiting court disposition.

Shooting Incident in Dumalinao
Shooting incident transpired at Purok
Madasigon, Barangay Pag-Asa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur near the public
market at about 7:30 PM of October 5, 2014. The victim was identified as Jonathan
Baterna Y Albasete, 31, single, jobless and a resident of same place. He was shot
by suspect identified as Dongdong Buletic with the used of cal .45 pistol based
on the recovered two fired cartridge case and one fired deformed slug of cal.45
pistol found at the crime scene. The victim sustained gunshot wounds on the
different parts of his body and rushed to Jamelarin Hospital in Pagadian City for
medical treatment. The suspect already fled towards the direction of Barangay
Pinig, Dumalinao when the responding PNP team from Dumalinao Police arrived at
the area. A hot pursuit operation is now being conducted by the responding PNP team
to locate and arrest the suspect. Investigation showed that the suspect had a heated
argument to the father of the victim identified as Joseph Baterna at the video
bar located at the abovementioned place; however, he was totally pacified by
the abovementioned victim. meanwhile, another person identified as Danon Yaphetes suddenly
strike a hard fist blow to Dongdong Buletic hitting on his face and fell down
to a concreted road. Dongdong Buletic was dazed momentarily unconscious and
sustained injuries on his head while Danon Yaphetes fled to unknown direction.
As Dongdong Buletic woke up, he saw Jonathan Baterna and shot the later after
which fled towards Barangay Pinig in Dumalinao.

Shooting incident occurred at about 2:20 AM of October 5, 2014 inside the vicinity of Camella Homes Subdivision In Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City. The victim was identified as “ran-ran” (TNU) of legal age and allegedly a resident of San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was shot to death by the duty security guards of the abovementioned subdivisions identified as Roher Estrera Apostol, 34, married, of Barangay Banale, Pagadian City and his buddy identified as Eddie Acuña Berbisada, 36, married and a resident of Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay. investigation showed that two aforesaid security guards were conducting foot patrol inside the vicinity of Camella homes property when they spotted the said victim carrying construction materials and carpentry tools. The two guards then held the said person and asked to return the alleged stolen items; however, he violently resisted and grabbed the security guards worn scarf and his issued caliber .38 revolvers. They then fell down on the ground grappling each other. Both guards used excessive force to pin down the suspect but still they failed to hold the suspect. Meanwhile when Security Guard Roher Apostol was almost disarmed by the suspect, his buddy Eddie Berbisada drew his issued firearm and shot the burglar hitting his head that resulted to his death. After the incident, the two guards informed their operation manager regarding the incident and voluntarily surrendered and submitted themselves to the Pagadian City Police including their issued firearms 38 revolver license number 206651j2397762 with three (3) live ammo and two empty shell with serial number 142844 and one caliber 9mm pistol with three (3) live ammo and one fired cartridge case with license number 206651j241002. The security guards were under the Tabunaway Warrior Security Agency. The Pagadian City Police is now conducting follow- up investigation to determine the truthfulness of their allegations while the two security guards are now under the custody of the said police station for proper disposition.
Hacking Incident in V-Sagun
Hacking incident occurred at about 3:00 AM of October 5, 2014 at Purok Rainbow, Barangay Kapatagan, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as one Jemar Cañon Y Montuirto, 25 years old, single, jobless and a resident of aforementioned place. He was hacked by suspect identified as Joshua Cabaya Y Berallo, 18 years old, single, jobless and a resident of same place with the used of kitchen knife measuring 14 inches long from tip to handle. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was sleeping inside the room of their residence when suddenly the suspect who is armed with the kitchen knife forcibly entered the house of the victim by breaking the lock of the main door. Suspect then entered the room of the victim and without any provocation hacked the victim at his head, however, the victim was able to parry the attack of the suspect and was able to retaliate that then inflicted injury to the suspect at his left back portion of his body. Accordingly, prior to the incident, the victim had an argument with the suspect’s mother but was settled earlier at Barangay level. The victim also sustained injury at his head and his left hand while both the suspect and victim were brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medical treatment. The V-Sagun Police is now preparing appropriate charges against the suspect.

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON
On or about 11:00 in the evening of October 05, 2014,
PNP elements of Midsalip Police Station led by PInsp Armel Maniwang Torres,
DCOP under the direction of PSInsp Ansary Romapa Polog, COP in coordination
with PNP elements of Tangub City Police Station proceeded to Barangay Pangabuan,
Tangub City and arrested one (1) Alano Pateno, farmer by occupation, resident
of Barangay Guinabot, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. Subject person was arrested
by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of arson, issued by Hon Judge
Ernesto Laurel, Presiding Judge RTC, Branch 30,
9th Judicial Region, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur dated December 17, 2008
with bail recommended amounted to (Php 200,000). Accused is now temporarily
detained at Midsalip Police Station locked-up cell awaiting court disposition.

Arrested in Pagadian City for Drugs
A 38 years old jobless was arrested by
the Anti-illegal drugs operatives of Pagadian City Police Station and Zamboanga
Del Sur Police Office during entrapment operation at the vulcanizing shop
located at Diversion Road, National Highway, Purok Masanagon, Barangay Bulatoc,
Pagadian City at about 9:00 PM of October 4, 2014. Arrested was Ramil Ecat Y
Dela Cerna, 38, unemployed and a native of Ozamis City. Confiscated fm his
possession and control were one buy - bust sealed transparent plastic sachet
containing Shabu, four small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachets
containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu and the two pieces two
hundred peso bill (P200.00) used as marked money with serial numbers bv601407
and ut247327. The confiscated items were subsequently turned - over to the
Crime Lab Office for examination. The arrested suspect is now temp detained at the
Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition while a case for violation
of section 5 and section 11 of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court against
the suspect.

Suspect Arrested in Pagadian City
Operatives of the Motor Cops under the
Pagadian City Police Station led by Police Officer 2 Hermes Tare Cabanlit
arrested a suspected theft at Corner Cabrera Street, F. S. Pajares Avenue Corner
Ramon Magsaysay Avenue in Pagadian City at about 9:20 AM of October 5, 2014. Arrested
was Joel Espiga Y Moreno, 47, carpenter and a resident of Barangay San Jose,
Aurora. Investigation showed that the suspect’s arrest came after a 80 years
old identified as Nita A Ver who was betting at the lotto outlet located at the
mentioned place when the suspect took the victim color red purse from her
shoulder bag containing a cash money amounting to one thousand five hundred
fifty eight pesos (P1,558.00). Arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at Pagadian
City Police Station for proper disposition.
