Stabbing Incident

DUMALINAO - Stabbing incident transpired particularly in the residence of Wilma Anghad, a resident of Purok Malinawon B, Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that one Daisy Mae Anghad Y Alao, female, 4 years old, was stabbed by her own father identified as Promencio Anghad, 57 years old, jobless using kitchen knife at around 3:30 in the morning of November 17, 2016 inside their house at Purok Malinawon B, Paglaum, Dumalinao,  Zamboanga del Sur. Victim sustained two (2) stabbed wounds on her body and was rushed to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center for medication. It was further disclosed that said suspect after committing the offense want to end his life by drinking an unknown kind of Pesticides, but was interrupted by his son-in-law and was also rushed to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center. Evidence recovered inside their house one (1) empty small bottle, the alleged pesticide was being stored with foul odor and one (1) knife used in the commission of the crime. Motive of the incident believed to be jealousy since the primary target of the suspect was her wife Wilma Anghad. Victim was declared safe by the Attending Physician. A case for Frustrated Parricide is now being prepared against the suspect for immediate filing in court.
