Shooting Incident
DUMINGAG - Shooting Incident occurred at about
6:30 PM of November 22, 2016 at Purok 2, Barangay Bucayan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del
Sur. The victim was identified as Jovel Esmas, 21 years old, resident of Purok
2, Barangay Bucayan, Dumingag. He was shot using caliber 45 pistols by suspect identified
as Marjun Bongcawil, 22 years old, and resident of same place. Victim sustained
multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body and was rushed to
LTMPC community hospital for immediate medical treatment. Suspect fled towards
unknown direction after the incident while PNP personnel of Dumingag MPS now
conducted operation to possibly locate and arrest the suspect. Motive of the
incident believed to be personal grudge.

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting
Incident took place at about 7:30 PM of November 22, 2016 at Zone 1, Barangay
Tiguma, Pagadian City, Zamboangha Del Sur. The victim was identified as Rudy
Dulap Ditomopa, 17 years old, male, single, and resident of Zone 1, Barangay
Tiguma, Pagadian City. Suspect was shot by his brother in law identified as Jerry
Martenes Cortes. The victim sustained gunshot wounds on his chest and left leg
and rushed to Mendero Hospital, Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment
but was declared dead around 8:30 PM of same date by the attending physician.
Suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. Evidence recovered
are one (1) fired cartridge case of Caliber .45 pistol and one (1) deformed
slug of same caliber.
Report on Missing Person
LAPUYAN - One Helda
Guimandam y Ojas, 43 years old, married, resident of Purok 5, Barangay Maralag,
Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur personally reported to San Miguel MPS at about 10:54
AM of November 22, 2016 informing that her mother identified as Gumanciana
Balan Guimandam, 70 years old, temporarily residing at her relative at Purok
Gandawali, Poblacion, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur was missing and was
reportedly seen last November 4, 2016 at said place. Accordingly, subject
person was wearing white “palda”, white blouse, with estimated height of 4’8”.

Arrest of Wanted Person
PAGADIAN CITY - One
(1) Wanted Person identified as Giever Pabriga Y Bulong, 39 years old, with
live-in partner and resident of Purok, Sweet Honey, Sta. Maria, Pagadian City,
Zamboanga Del Sur was arrested by PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS led by SPO3
Carlos D Omentic, on November 22, 2016 at about 10:50 AM by virtue of WOA for
the crime of slight physical injury, docketed under criminal case number 17272,
issued by Hon. Joel G. Vercide, Presiding Judge, MTCC, Branch 01, Pagadian
City, with bail bond recommended of five thousand pesos (P5,000) for his
temporary liberty. The accused is now temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS
lock-up cell while waiting for the commitment order from the court of origin.
Arrest of Wanted Person
DINAS - One (1) Wanted
Person identified as Arsad Nidzam Sulaiman, 28 years old, resident of Barangay
Benuatan, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur was arrested by Joint PNP personnel of
ZSPPSC, 53RD IB, PA and Dinas MPS led by PINSP JOVERT CANTIL DAHUNAN, Officer
In-Charge, under the supervision of PSUPT JAMES A TURBELA, DPDO on November 22,
2016 at about 10:00 AM. The accused was arrested by virtue of WOA for the crime
of attempted murder, docketed under criminal case number 12-041, issued by Hon.
Edilberto G. Absin, RTC Presiding Judge, 9TH Judicial Region, Branch 29, San
Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. The accused is now temporarily detained at Dinas MPS
lock-up cell while waiting for the commitment order from the court of origin.
