Shooting Incident
DINAS - Shooting Incident transpired on November 19, 2016 at about 9:10 AM at
Purok 4, Barangay Legardo Dos, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was
identified as Danny Boy Banog-Banog Caritos, 46 years old, married,
driver/mechanic by occupation and resident of Barangay Legarda Dos, Dinas,
Zamboanga Del Sur. He was shot by an unidentified riding criminal’s onboard
Honda wave 100 with no plate number. Victim sustained several gunshot wounds on
the different parts of his body and was rushed to Margosatubig Regional Hospital and subsequently
transferred to Pagadian City Mendero Hospital.
Suspects fled towards unknown direction after the incident.
Stabbing Incident
MAHAYAG - Stabbing
Incident transpired on November 20, 2016 at about 12:30 AM at Purok 6, Barangay
Daniel C Mantos, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur wherein victim Alfredo Pagal Y
Mahinay, 22 years old, single, First year BS Criminology student of JH Cerilles
College, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur was stabbed by suspect identified as Dagol
Nano Garcines, legal age and resident Barangay Daniel C Mantos, Mahayag,
Zamboanga del Sur. victim sustained stabbed wound on his left chest and was
immediately brought to Lorenzo Tan Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Poblacion,
Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur by his friends for immediate medical attention.
Suspect fled towards north direction after the incident while PNP personnel of
Mahayag MPS conducted manhunt operation to possibly locate and arrest the
fleeing suspect. Motive of the incident is yet to be determined.
