Shooting Incident
DINAS - Shooting incident
has transpired at Purok 7, Barangay Old Mirapao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur on
November 26, 2016 at about 7:20 AM. Initial investigation disclosed that the
victim identified as Pablo Pihelangco Jr., 36 years old, married, a resident of
Purok 5, Barangay Old Mirapao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot by Marciano
Barientos Aka Sonny, 58 years old, married a CVO member of Barangay Old
Mirapao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur and a resident of same place. Further, while
the victim was on his way home, the suspect appeared from behind and shot him
hitting on his head that resulted to his untimely death. Suspect fled to
unknown direction after the incident. Elements of Dinas MPS are still
conducting hot pursuit operation for the possible arrest of the suspect while a
case of murder is being prepared for immediate filing in court.
Encounter Incident
DINAS - Joint elements of 2MC, RPSB9 and Philippine Army encountered more
or less ten (10) fully armed men believed to be members of Ambol Group at the
vicinity of Sitio Balaisan, Barangay East Migpulao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur on
November 26, 2016 at about 1:25 PM. The firefight lasted for about fifteen (15)
minutes which led to the death of Nuh Ambol a leader of Ambol Group. The group
is responsible in the ambush incident against members of 53rd IB of the pa
based on the pictures sent by the troops. Subject has a standing warrants of
arrest for direct assault docketed under criminal case number 1643-d, murder
docketed under criminal case number 12-086 and illegal possession of firearms
docketed under criminal case number 11-077. Nur Ambol was listed number one (1)
high value target for illegal drugs (Regional Level) covered with Coplan
Birador under drug link diagram of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO a leader of criminal
gang of Ambol Group and number two (2) most wanted person regional level under
Lambat Sibat Target.
