OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS

Three Pagadian City Pushers Busted

Three suspected drug pushers were arrested by the Operatives of Molave Police Station during drug buy bust operation in Barangay Maloloy-on, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:15 PM of August 27, 2014. Arrested were Jumar Mercene Jutba, Jack Sucalang Enerio and Daniel Oliva Alibio, all of legal age and resident of Barangay Banadero, Ozamis City. Confiscated from their possession and control eight pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu and eight pieces rolled aluminum foils. Arrested suspects were temporarily detained at Molave Police Station while appropriate case for violation of Republic Act 9165 was filed before the provincial prosecutors office in Pagadian City docketed under I.S number ix-09-inv-14h-00465 against the aforesaid suspects.

Shooting Suspect Arrested in Bayog

A local Government employee was arrested by the operatives of Bayog Police Station during dragnet operation at about 9:45 AM of August 29, 2014 after he was positively identified as the culprits behind the shooting incident that occurred at about 7:45 PM of August 28, 2014 in Barangay Poblacion, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspect was identified as Cesar Managbanag Y Ceno a.k.a. sari, 38, Local Government Employee of Bayog and a resident of Barangay Kahayagan, Bayog while the victim is identified as Ricky Dizor Y Funtanosa, 44, single, tricycle driver, resident of the abovementioned place. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was sleeping inside his house when suspect who was armed with a caliber 45 pistol positioned himself at the window area and shot the victim several times. Victim sustained two gunshot wounds on his body which resulted to his instantaneous death. The evidence recovered from the crime scene are two fired cartridge case of caliber 45 pistol and to be turned- over to provincial crime lab (PCLO) for ballistic exam. Arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at Bayog Police Station while an appropriate case for murder is now being prepared for filing in court against him.

Shooting Incident in Margosatubig

Shooting incident occurred at about 1:51 PM of August 29, 2014 at Purok Durian, Barangay Magahis, Margosatubig in Zamboanga DelSur. The victim was identified as Rolando Saladaga Y Lumutos, 37, account officer of 1st Valey Bank in Margosatubig Branch and resident of Barangay Fatima, Liloy in Zamboanga Del Norte. He was shot to death using caliber 45 pistols by an unidentified suspect. Investigation conducted disclosed that the said victim was driving his issued single motorcycle XRM 125 traversing from Barangay Magahis, Margosatubig going to Barangay Mulom, Lapuyan, however, upon reaching at the above-mentioned place was signaled to stop by an unidentified suspect onboard on a single Honda wave which was parked in an opposite direction of the road. Upon signaled by the suspect, the victim slow down his driven motorcycle and parked it beside the suspect motorcycle, however, during the course of their short conversation, suddenly the suspect shot the victim several times hitting on the different parts of his body that resulted to his instantaneous death. Suspect immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident. The evidence recovered from the crime scene by the responding PNP elements of Margosatubig Police Station were two fired cartridge case of caliber .45 and to be turned-over to provincial crime lab for ballistic exam. A thorough investigation is now being conducted by the said police station for the possible arrest of suspect.

Vehicular Accident in Dumalinao

Motor vehicle traffic accident took place at about 3:50 PM of August 29, 2014 in Barangay Pag-Asa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur particularly at the premises of shell gasoline station. the vehicle involved was a Isuzu public utility jeep bound to Pagadian City- Longmot via Begong and vice versa color yellow with plate no. JVH-221registered under Joselito Malong and driven by Benny Lalim Y Mangobat, married of longmot, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation showed that the Isuzu Jeep was carrying passenger and bound to Longmot, Tigbao, however, upon reaching at the above-mentioned place, make his right turn to gas- up at shell gasoline station not knowing that there was one person identified as Vergilio Oriel Y Carbanusa, 15, single, ice cream vendor, move toward the coming jeep and  take a ride at the right side portion near at the rear wheel  of the mentioned jeep to canvass at the passenger who will buy an ice cream. Victim was unable to manage his action which then resulted to an accident. He sustained bruises and minor injury at his right leg and was rush to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for medical attention. The Jeep driver and his driven jeep were brought to the said police office for proper disposition.

Hacking Suspect Arrested 
A farmer was arrested by the PNP elements of Dumingag Police Station for hacking another farmer in Barangay Lower Timonan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:45 PM of August 29, 2014. The victim was identified as Silver Misiona Sarol, 46, married, farmer and a resident of said place while the suspect is identified as Alex Gelero, legal age, married, farmer. Investigation showed that the victim together with certain Amik and Cocoy Dalion were having a drinking spree at the store of the victim when the abovementioned suspect came and suddenly hacked the victim. He sustained hacked wound on his neck and was immediately brought to Mahayag Medical Hospital for immediate medication. Suspect is now being detained at the Dumingag Police Station for proper disposition while a case is now being prepared for immediate filing in court.

Shooting Incident in Margosatubig

AUG. 25, 2014 FOLLOW-UP RE Shooting incident transpired at around 1:30 PM of August 24, 2014 at the national highway of Barangay Poblacion Margosatubig particularly at the terminal area in Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victims were identified as Jimuel Heyrana Y Saga, 40, married, farmer; Juanito Ediang Y Aspacio, 44, farmer; and Renato Arcillas Y Avenido, 38, farmer. The three victims were shot several times by two (2) unidentified suspects onboard on a single motorcycle color red without plate number. The initial motive of the killing incident  has a connection on the case filed by the aforesaid victim Jimuel Heyrana Y Saga against certain Castor Villagracia  39, married, businessman, for the crime of murder and attempted murder filed before the provincial prosecutors office in Pagadian City docketed under I.S. number IX-09-INV-14B-00119 dated 26 February 2014 in connection to the shooting incident that transpired last January 26, 2014 in Margosatubig that resulted to the death of his relative identified as Mercedita Heyrana y Omay. The aforesaid victim Juanito Ediang Y Aspacio was also the prime witness and executed his affidavit to support the filing of case on the shooting incident that happened last 26 January 2014. The PNP elements of Margosatubig Police Station are still conducted a thorough investigation that could possibly shed light to the early solution of the case.

Man with Physical Injuries Case Arrested

PNP elements of Dumalinao Police Station arrested Jemar Bouggal Y Rolleoque, 22, married, in Barangay Pag-asa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 11:25 AM of August 25, 2014. Suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of reckless imprudence resulting in slight physical injuries issued by Hon Benjamin Lanzaderas, the Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City docketed under criminal case no. 11385-2k14. He is now temporarily detained at Dumalinao Police Station awaiting court disposition.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS 
On or about 1:00 in the afternoon of August 25, 2014, PNP elements of PAIDSOTF Zamboanga Del Sur led by PSInsp Gerald Pilapil Aranas conducted a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City and successfully arrested one (1) Jonard V Gonzaga, of legal age and alpha res of Barangay Tubod, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur. confiscated from his possession and control six (6) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and Five Hundred Peso Bill (Php500.00) buy-bust money. Arrested suspect is now temporary detained at ZSPPO locked-up cell while a case for violation of sec 5, R.A. 9165 is now being prepared for immediate filing in court. Vehicular Accident in Sominot

Vehicular accident occurred at around 1:00 PM of August 26, 2014 at the National Highway of Barangay Poblacion, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur, wherein Roland Yulina Y Ortega, 29, single, jobless and a resident of above-mentioned place fell down from the trailer carrier he boarded. initial investigation conducted disclosed that the said trailer carrier mounted by farm tractor driven by Reynante Maneja Y Bucol, 36, married, casual employee of Sominot Local Government unit and a resident of Barangay Upper Sicpao, Sominot collecting garbage around Poblacion and while at the vicinity at the said place, the aforesaid victim boarded unto the trailer without the permission of the driver and upon reaching in front of barangay hall of Barangay Poblacion heading to the dumpsite area, the driver noticed that somebody fell down to the road and when verified, he recognized and identified the victim as mentioned above and sustained serious injury on his head. Victim immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Sur medical center for medical treatment but was declared dead at about 4:00 PM of said date. Suspect is presently under the custody of Sominot Police Station for further investigation.

Motorcycle Stolen in Tambulig

A reported stolen of motorcycle incident occurred at about 5:00 AM of August 26, 2014 at Barangay Gabunon, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur, wherein one unit single motorcycle Honda XRM 125 cc color yellow with temporary plate number 093001registered under the name of Joena Toreña Y Silvano was stolen by unidentified suspect while being parked at Joel Slander Residence located at the aforesaid place. Investigation showed that the subject motorcycle was left at the aforesaid place by Jhomarie Toreña, however, it was discovered missing few hours later. The Tambulig Police is now conducting follow- up investigation to possibly locate and identify the suspect.

SHOOTING INCIDENT

On or about 1:30 in the afternoon of August 24, 2014 at the national highway particularly at terminal area, Samboang, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victims were identified as Jimuel Heyrana Y Saga, 40 years old, male, Filipino, married, farmer and a resident of Barangay Limbatong, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur; Juanito Ediang Y Aspacio, 44 years old, male, Filipino, married, farmer and a resident of Barangay Tiguian, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur; and Renato Arcillas Y Avenido, 38 years old, male, Filipino, farmer, single and a resident of Sitio Tigbalogo, Barangay Digon, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur who were shot by two (2) unidentified suspects with back –ups riding in tandem in two (2) separate single motorcycles described to be black Racal and red XRM, all without plate numbers. Initial investigation conducted by Margosatubig Police Station disclosed that Jimuel Heyrana Y Saga was  driving his Honda Tmx “Habal-Habal” type single motorcycle  together  with  his  fellow  victims  coming  from  barangay Tiguian  Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur when followed and shot by two (2) unidentified gun men each riding in tandem  with the used of single motorcycle separately. Jimuel Heyrana Y Saga suffered (9) gunshot wounds on different parts of his  body  and died on the spot while Juanito Ediang Y Aspacio suffered gunshot wound on his body and face and now confined and treated at Margosatubig Regional Hospital, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspects later withdrew towards the direction of Pagadian City. Recovered from the crime scene were the following; nine (9) empty shells of caliber 45 pistol and two (2) pieces caliber 45 pistols marked Colt with serial number 724183 loaded with one (1) magazine with five (5) live ammonition and marked West Hurley/Ordnance with serial number 195628 loaded with one (1) magazine with nine (9) live ammonition and two (2) pieces of caliber 45 pistol holster. Motive of the incident believed to be personal grudges. Margosatubig Police Station is still conducting investigation to the identity of the suspects for proper disposition. SHOOTING INCIDENT IN PAGADIAN CITY

On or about 9:10 in the evening of August 24, 2014, Pagadian City Police Station received information from a concern citizen that a shooting incident transpired at Purok Esmeralda B, San Jose, Pagadian City wherein Tata’s Store was fired upon by unidentified suspect with the use of unknown caliber of firearms. Immediately, PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station led by PInsp Alfon Buenbrazo Belloan, together with the duty investigator proceeded to the said place to conduct investigation. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim was identified as one Noel Geraga Yankee Pilotos, 40 years old, married construction worker and a resident of same place. Investigation further revealed that while the victim and his wife was about to sleep inside the abovementioned store when they heard several gun shots coming from outside of the said store. As a result, several bullet holes were found at the front portion of the said store while the victim sustained a lone gunshot wound on his right leg. Suspects fled to unknown direction right after the incident. Victim was immediately brought by his immediate family to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for treatment. One deformed slug coming from unknown caliber of firearms was recovered from the crime scene. Motive of incident was still unknown. Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting thorough investigation to possibly identify the suspect and to determine the motive. ROBBERY/RANSACKED INCIDENT

On or about 7:35 in the evening of August 24, 2014, PO1 Renji Narciso reported to Pagadian City Police Station that the compound of his grandfather in the person of Fortunato Narciso Y Bahinting, 80 years old, married, retired pastor of UCCP and a resident of Narciso Compound Blk 13 Lot 7, 8, 9 Lower Phase 2, Alta Tiguma Pagadian City was robbed by unidentified persons. Reaction team of Pagadian City Police Station together with the duty investigator went to the said place to conduct invest. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim together with his wife left their house on or about 8:00 in the morning of August 24, 2014 to attend church service and when they returned home at about 4:00 in the afternoon they discovered that their compound was robbed. The suspect gained entry at the first house (lot 7) owned by his son by detaching the exhaust fan at the comfort room of the said house and carted away one (1) unit commando airsoft gun. While on the second house (lot 8) the suspect gained entry by forcibly opening the kitchen wooden door and took one (1) unit acer netbook and on the third house (lot 9) the suspect gained entry by destroying the screen and by removing the windowpane but the perpetrator carted nothing on that house. FOUND DEAD BODY

On or about 7:35 in the morning of August 24, 2014, Kumalarang Police Station received a text message from the barangay chairman Hon Bienvenido R Navaja of Barangay Bolisong, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur informing that on or about 10:00 in the evening of August 23, 2014, a dead body found at Sitio Overview, Barangay Bolisong, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur. Elements of Kumalarang Police Stataion led by SPO2 Nestor Maramara Dahunan, under the direct supervision of PInsp Leonel Roncesvalles, OIC proceeded to the aforementioned place to conduct investigation. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as one Luisito Timod Y Anggot, 35 years old, with live dash in partner, farmer and a resident of Barangay Gatub, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur. Further revealed that the victim and his live-in partner were inside at their residential house of the said place and allegedly unidentified suspect appeared and shot the victim with the used of unknown type caliber of firearms. Victim sustained lone gunshot wound on his chest that resulted to his untimely death. Kumalarang Police Station is now conducting follow-up investigation to possibly identify the suspect and to know the motive of the incident. SUICIDE INCIDENT

On or about 3:00 in the afternoon of August 24, 2014 at Purok Cadena De Amor, Barangay Kabatan, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as one Juliet Limpar Malintad, 30 years old, common law wife and a resident of the aforesaid place was found dead inside their house. Initial investigation conducted by V. Sagun Police Station disclosed that a night prior to the incident, victim and her live-in partner Oscar Alicaway had a misunderstanding and accordingly the victim get jealous to her live-in partner and had accused him to have another woman. Oscar Alicaway always heard from the victim saying that she will commit suicide. At about 8:00 in the morning of August 24, 2014, victim went out from the house to get some roots of a poisonous plant locally known as “Tubli” and then extracted the juice and mix with kerosene and drank it. When his live-in partner went up to the house, victim already struggled for her life and immediately he shouted for help from their neighbors but the victim was already unconscious. Vincenzo Sagun Police Station is still conducting thorough investigation to determine the existence of foul play.
 
Stabbing Incident in Dumingag

Stabbing incident transpired at Barangay Manlabay, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 9:40 PM of August 24, 2014. The victim was identified as Diosdado Espinosa Cerna, 54, married, farmer and a resident of the aforesaid place. He was stabbed by Ariel Vapor Y Adiong, 23, married, farmer and also a resident of the same place. initial investigation disclosed that suspect and the victim were having alpha drinking spree and playing billiard at the house of Abito Cazar of the aforesaid place and while on their way home suddenly Diosdado Espinosa Cerna was stabbed by the aforesaid suspect hitting at the back portion of his head using a hunting knife. The victim was immediately brought to Molave Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect was arrested by responding PNP elements of Dumingag Police Station in coordination with the Barangay Officials. He was brought to the said police station for proper disposition. The motive of the incident is personal grudges while appropriate case is being prepared for immediate filing in court.
