Man with Theft Case Arrested
PNP
elements of Dimataling Police Station during manhunt operation in Barangay
Kagawasan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur arrested Evelyn V Villegas, single, resident
of Poblacion, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 9:00 AM of August 21,
2014. Suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of
theft issued by Presiding Judge Maria Teresa R Pangilinan, 7th Municipal
Circuit Trial Court, Dimataling, Tabina, Pitogo, all of Zamboanga Del Sur. The bail
recommended for his temporary liberty amounted to (Php 12,000. Accused
temporarily detained at Dimataling Police Station awaiting court disposition.
Vehicular Accident in Pagadian City
Vehicular
traffic accident occurred at about 10:20
AM of August 21, 2014 in Benigno Aquino Street, Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City, wherein a cargo truck (Isuzu
forward) bearing plate no. JES135 accidentally ran freely down to Benigno
Aquino Street hitting several parked vehicles described as follows: utility vehicle (Isuzu 4x4) garnet red cmm
with temporary plate no. 1036-bv-821; one utility vehicle (sangyong istana van)
yellow white with plate no. meb400; one Honda Sedan titanium with temporary
plate no. 1036-BJ-110; one Honda XRM 125) black/white with plate no. 5769; one Suzuki
scooter. As a result of said incident, some vehicles bumped and made damages to
two establishment identified as RD pawn shop and Saloon D' Eldefonso located
along accident site. The driver of said forward truck was identified as Salvador
Simbajon Y Lambiguit, 64, married, resident of Barangay San Jose, Pagadian
City. Investigation conducted disclosed that the driver of said truck unleashed
the piece of stone he blocked along tires of said truck, however, the truck was
able to run freely down to the above-mentioned place that resulted to said
incident. The driver of the said forward truck was brought and detained to the
Pagadian City Police Station while appropriate charges was being prepared against
him.
Male Cadaver Found in Dimataling
A
male dead body was found at around 8:00 AM of August 22, 2014 at the vicinity
of Roque Carpio Y Sabala, a Barangay Kagawad of barangay sumbato, Dimataling,
Zamboanga Del Sur. The cadaver was his cousin identified as Pepito Patong Y
Carpio, 39, single, has mental defect and a resident of said place. He was
found dead at the waiting shed with in the perimeter of the Kagawad house.
Accordingly, the victim has a hematoma at the middle of his forehead which the
investigator believed that could be the cause of his death. The Dimataling
Police Station is still conducting discreet investigation to determine the
motive of the incident as well as the identity of suspect.
Rape Incident in V-Sagun
Rape
incident transpired at about 6:00 PM of August 22, 2014 in Barangay Kabatan,
Vincenso, Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Susan Obido Y
Elago, 30 years old, female, house keeper, resident of above-mentioned place while
the suspect is identified as Jun-Jun Alemanio, legal age, married, and resident
of same place. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was inside of
their house when suspect came and asked for a glass of water. The victim then
allegedly open the door of their house in which the suspect entered into the
house. He then pushed the victim which caused her to fell down on the floor and
repeatedly rape the victim. Responding PNP elements of V-Sagun Police meanwhile
arrested the suspect at his residence. He is now being detained at said police
station for immediate filing in court.
OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS
Tricycle Driver Nabbed in Tukuran for
Possessing Illegal Drugs
A
tricycle driver was arrested by the operatives of Tukuran Police Station after
suspected illegal drugs was found in his possession during the conduct of
checkpoint at around 2:30 PM of August 22, 2014 in Barangay San Carlos,
Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. The Arrested driver was identified as Jemarie Ian
Castor Y Presidente, 21, single and a resident of Barangay Upper Bayao, Tukuran.
The suspect’s arrest came after the operatives launched a random checkpoint at the
mentioned Barangay on the strength of the report from the concern citizen that
the driver of tricycle otherwise known as “payong-payong” described as Honda
wave 100 color black was carrying shabu at the vicinity of Barangay San Carlos,
Tukuran. Seized from the suspect’s possession were four small packs plastic
heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline suspected to be methamphetamine
hydrochloride locally known as shabu; disposable lighter; plastic coin purse
and one unit cell phone and his driven tricycle with plate no. xy- 4392.
Suspect was brought and detained at the Tukuran Police Station for proper
disposition.
CAMPAIGN AGAINST LOOSE FIREARM
On or about 8:20 in the evening of august 22, 2014, one (1) Jinky Villaganas Abing, 20 years old, single, resident of Purok Tres, Barangay Alicia, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur together with his father identified as Remego Abing, personally appeared and reported to Molave Police Station informing that his neighbor identified as Julieto Monteza, 23 years old, resident of same place was seen carrying a shotgun at Purok Tres Of Barangay Alicia of same municipality. Elements of Molave Police Station led by PInsp Edwin Impil Lumingo proceeded/responded to the reported place of incident purposely to verify the veracity of the report. Upon arrival of the responding team and upon sensing the presence of said PNP personnel, said suspect who was armed with a shotgun successfully eluded arrest while his shotgun with one (1) ammo was left behind at said place. Subject firearm with deface serial number is now under the custody of Molave Police Station and to be turned-over to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (PCLO) for disposition. Further investigation disclosed that at about 5:00 in the morning of same date, said suspect and Jinky Villaganas were engaged in a fistfight in connection with the stoning incident transpired at the abovementioned place which believed to be the cause of the said incident. An appropriate case for violation of R.A. 10591 is now being prepared for filing against Julieto Monteza.

or about 10:00 in the morning of August 23, 2014 at Barangay Lumbal, V- Sagun, Zamboanga
Del Sur, PO3 Billy Villalon Gacasan, PNP member presently assigned at V-Sagun Police
Station, Zamboanga Del Sur intercept in the possession and control of Reynaldo
Delfino one (1) caliber 45 pistol
(colt) with serial nr 255335 and one (1) magazine loaded with four (4) live
ammos. While he was taking coffee he saw a suspicious person wearing black
jacket standby a distance from his house riding single motorcycle. When he
accost above said person a protrude handle of a gun was seen tucked on the
waist of the suspect, PO3 Gacasan pulled it in the possession of the suspect
and asked legal authority to carry said firearms but suspect failed to present
any legal documents. Suspect immediately fled to unknown direction using a
single motorcycle DT colored black with no plate nr attached. Item confiscated
from the suspect is now in the custody of V-Sagun Police Station. PNP elements
of V-Sagun Police Station conducted hot pursuit operation for possible arrest
of the suspect and an appropriate charge against suspect is being prepared.
Murderer Captured in Lapuyan
The
Lapuyan Police Station arrested Arnel Legados Y Valenzuela, 31, male, during
manhunt operation in Barangay Tulapok, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur at around
3:50 PM of August 23, 2014. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest
charged for the crime of frustrated murder docketed under criminal case number 08-100
issued by Hon. Edilberto G. Absin Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region Branch
29 San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. The bail recommended is fixed to two hundred
thousand pesos (P200, 000.00). He is now being detained at the said police
station awaiting commitment order from the issuing court for proper disposition.
STRUCKING INCIDENT AND ARREST OF SUSPECT
On or about 6:30 in the morning of August 23, 2014 at Purok 2, Barangay Golictop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Wellyn Ganar Capangpangan, 28 years old, single, resident of said place was stroked to death using a piece of stone by suspect identified as Rey Onog Y Dawaling, 17 years old, single, resident of Purok 2, Barangay Tulbong of same municipality. investigation conducted by Midsalip Police Station disclosed that both victim and suspect were having a drinking spree at the above mentioned place and when victim about to leave at said place he was suddenly stroked by said suspect using a piece of stone. As a result, victim sustained two (2) fatal wounds on her head that resulted to his instantaneous death while suspect was arrested by the responding PNP elements of Midsalip Police Station. Suspect is now temporarily detained at Midsalip Police Station locked-up cell while an appropriate case is being prepared for filing in court.

FOUND MALE DEAD BODY
On or about 7:30 in the evening of August
23, 2014, Sominot Police Station received a cellular phone call from Hon Mayor
Stephen Acosta informing that a male dead body was found at Purok Irene, Poblacion
Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Sominot Police Station led by SPO3
Eulogio Pilapil Moñesa, upon the direction of PInsp Felixberto Rule Jr
responded/proceeded to the reported place of incident purposely to verify and
conduct investigation. Upon arrival of the responding team, victim identified
as Jose Regorio Egno Y Neri, 73 years old, widower, jobless, resident of the
said place was found lying lifeless bathed with his own blood and sustained
sliced wound on his left hand particularly on the part of his pulse and also
sustained lone stabbed wound on his stomach.
Initial investigation conducted by Sominot Police Station disclosed that
said victim was allegedly committed suicide inside his room of his house, while
motive of the incident believed to be misunderstanding on the part of the
victim and his younger sister identified as Dominga Torres Y Egno. Evidence
recovered from the crime scene was one (1) hunting knife and now under the
custody of Sominot Police Station and for subsequent submission to Crime Laboratory.
PNP elements of Sominot Police Station conducted a thorough investigation to
determine whether there is foul play involved during the incident.
