Shooting Incident in Pagadian City

Shooting incident occurred at about 1:44 PM of August 18, 2014 at the shell station, Alano Street Corner Rizal Avenue, Pagadian City. the victim was identified as Ariestio Ramos aka Titing, of legal age, construction worker and a resident of Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur. Accordingly, he was standing at the aforementioned place when suddenly one unidentified suspect shot him twice with the used of caliber .45 pistol. Victim sustained gunshot wounds on his head that resulted to his untimely death. Meanwhile, a pedestrian identified as Edmark John Tubiano, 21, resident of Upper Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur was hit by a stray bullet on his left eye. He was rushed to Mendero Medical Center by a concerned citizen for immediate medical treatment. Recovered at the crime scene were two fired cartridges cases of caliber .45 pistols. The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting follow- up investigation for possible identification of the suspect as well as to know the motive of the incident.

Farmer with Murder Case Falls in Dimataling

PNP elements of Dimataling Police Station arrested Rolando Ebarial y Himongala, 50, farmer, native of Barangay Libertad during manhunt operation in Barangay Libertad, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 PM of August 18, 2014. He was arrested at his residence by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed under criminal case no. 14-055 for frustrated murder issued by acting Presiding Judge Felix B. Rodriguez, Jr. of Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspect is now temporarily detained at Dimataling Police Station for proper documentation and disposition awaiting commitment order by the issuing court. The recommended bail bond for his temporary liberty was fixed at two hundred thousand (Php200, 000.00) pesos. .

Farmer with Theft Charges Arrested in Dimataling

PNP elements of Dimataling Police Station arrested Jaime Aso Y Bondaog, 54, married, farmer, during manhunt operation in Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 PM of August 18, 2014. Suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed under criminal case no. 14-2192-d for theft issued by Acting Presiding Judge Maria Teresa R. Pangilinan of 7th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Dimataling- Tabina and Pitogo. Arrested person is now temporarily detained at the mentioned police station for proper documentation and disposition awaiting commitment order by the issuing court. The recommended bail bond for his temporary liberty was fixed at twelve thousand (Php12, 000.00) pesos.

Farmer with Multiple Charges Falls in Margosatubig

A female farmer was arrested by the joint elements of Margosatubig Police Station, Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch, Bravo Company Of the 53rd Infantry Battalion, Phil. Army during manhunt operation at Margosatubig Regional Hospital in Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:00 PM of August 18, 2014. Arrested was Anabelle Quijano Y Perez, 34, married, female, farmer and a resident of Barangay Ocapan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspect was arrested by virtue of warrants of arrest issued by Hon Romeo T Descallar, Presiding Judge Of Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region Branch 19 Pagadian City dated 29 October 2013 charged for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case no. 11128-2k13, attempted murder docketed under criminal case no. 11130-2k13, 11136-2k13 and 11135-2k13 and crime of theft docketed under criminal case no. 11129-2k13. Investigation conducted disclosed that the subject was brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medical attention due to miscarriage of her four (4) months old fetus. Accordingly, the subject person is too weak and as per physicians advised, the patient should need complete rest and should undergo blood transfusion. The subject person is still confined in the hospital for immediate recovery while being jointly and closely guarded by Margosatubig Police and other authorities.

Shooting Incident in Labangan

Shooting incident occurred at about 8:25 AM of August 18, 2014 in Barangay Upper Sang-An, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur particularly at the Labangan Bridge. The victim was identified as Nestor Hassan Acing aka “Agoy”, 37, married and a resident of the aforesaid place. he was outside his residence fixing his bicycle when two unidentified suspects came wearing a helmet on board a single Honda XRM 125 color red with no plate attached and suddenly shot the victim with the used of caliber .45 pistol based on the recovered fired cartridge case of same caliber found at the crime scene. The victim sustained gunshot wounds on the back portion of his head exited on the left portion of his eyebrow. He was rushed to Mendero Medical Center in Pagadian City while the suspects fled to unknown direction after the incident. The Labangan Police Station is now conducting follow –up investigation to possibly identify the suspect as well as to know the motive of the incident.

Teen Nabbed in Mahayag During Drug Bust

Operatives of Mahayag Police Station arrested Zyril Jun Saberon Cabasis, 21, during drug buy bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:30 PM of August 18, 2014. Seized from his possession were two (2) small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be “Shabu”, four (4) rolled aluminum foils and two hundred peso bill (Php200.00) as marked money. Suspect is now being detained at the Mahayag Police Station for proper disposition. 

Jobless Man Falls during Drug Bust in Aurora

PNP elements of Aurora Police Station arrested Jesus Bihag Y Suminggit aka “Bado”, male, 47, married, jobless during illegal drugs buy-bust operation at Bonifacio Street, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 PM of August 18, 2014. Seized from his possession were two small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white substance believed to be Shabu, two rolled aluminum foil and one piece two hundred peso bill (Php200.00) with serial number gu302231 and one piece fifty peso (Php50.00) with serial number hh987121 used as marked money. Arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at aurora police station for proper disposition
