PRESS RELEASE 
Hacking In Pagadian City

Pagadian City- Hacking incident occurred at about 8:00 in the morning of December 4, 2014 in Purok Mahogany, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City. The victim was identified as Danilo Panit Y, 49, farmer and a resident of said place. He was hacked to death by his nephew identified as Jose Panit y Retiza Jr., 20, single, farmer, with the used of scythe. Investigation showed that prior to the incident; both victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree at the suspect’s residence, however, when the latter was trying to stop the heated argument of his parents, he was scolded by the former which resulted to a fist fight. After few minutes of fist fight, both of them ran towards their respective houses and came back with a bolo on their hands. The course of their fight evolved between the two; however, victim was unfortunately hit on the left portion of his neck resulted to his untimely death. The suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. The Pagadian CPS now conducting manhunt operation against the fleeing suspect.

Wanted Persons Nabbed in Dinas

Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur – On or about 4:45 in the morning of December 4, 2014, joint PNP units composed of CIDG led by PCI RESTY E. SORIANO, PPSC personnel led by PSUPT MICHAEL PINEDA PALERMO, PIB personnel led by PCI MODIN ACUB PANTARAN and Dinas MPS led by PSI ARDEE OLIVER SOLIS OLIVEROS under the supervision of PSSUPT SOFRONIO PALANA ECALDRE, conducted raid/search the houses of Norodin Lam @ Ike, Mair Lam @ Pagong and two (2) unidentified companions inside a compound of Ustadz Suwaib Ibrahim situated at Purok Roxas Cma Sitio Botitian, Sambulawan, Dinas, by virtue of search warrant no. 183 for violation of R.A. 10591 and R.A. 9516 which was issued by Hon. Joel G. Vercide, Presiding Judge of MTCC cma branch 1, Pagadian City dated 01 December 2014. The PNP team was able to seize and confiscated one (1) m16 rifle colt with serial number 9037626, thirty (30) live ammo of cal. 5.56, pistol cal. 45 Armscor with serial number 263915, two (2) mag of cal. 45 and seven (7) live ammo of cal. 45 from the house of Norodin Lam. Furthermore, said PNP units arrested and executed the standing warrant of arrest of a certain Norodin Lam @ Ike, Amer Lam and Brian Jon Lindagan @ Sam for the crime of qualified theft docketed in criminal case no. 12-087 which was issued by Hon. Edilberto G. Absin, Presiding Judge of RTC branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur dated 19 December 2012. The raid was witnessed by some media personnel, Barangay Captain of Sambulawan and some elected municipal of Dinas municipality. Arrested persons and seized items were brought to Camp Abelon, Pagadian City for proper disposition.

HACKING INCIDENT

On or about 8:00 in the morning of December 4, 2014 at Purok Mahogany, Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City wherein victim identified as  Danilo Panit Y Gemenina, 49 years old, farmer, married, resident of said place was hacked to death by suspect identified as  Jose Panit Y Retiza Jr. 20 years old, single and resident of same place. that on or about 3:00 in the afternoon of December 05, 2014, aforesaid suspect voluntarily surrendered to PO2 Jennifer Empalmado Buco, PNP member assigned at Pagadian City Police Station and same was subsequently turned-over to Pagadian City Police Station for detention and filing of appropriate case. Suspect is now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station locked-up cell while an appropriate case is now being prepared for filing in court. ROBBERY INCIDENT

On or about 7:00 in the evening of December 05, 2014, one (1) Junafer Oral Y Laurio, 33 years old, male, married, resident of Purok Lubi, Barangay Lenienza Pagadian City personally appeared and reported to Pagadian City Police Station informing that his house located at the abovementioned place was robbed/ransack by unidentified suspects. PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station led by PInsp Harry Ratunil Velez, officer of the day, proceeded to the reported place of incident and conducted ocular inspection and investigation. investigation conducted by Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that suspects gain entrance by removing the glass window of the room of his niece of said house and upon getting the chance carted away the following items: one (1) unit apple pad; one (1) unit Sony PSP; one (1) unit Samsung tab 2; three (3) silver necklace; one (1) gold bracelet; silver bracelet; and four (4) silver women’s ring placed inside the room of the victim. PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station conducted a thorough investigation for the possible identity and arrest of suspects and file appropriate case in court if evidence warrants.
