Stabbing in Dumingag

Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur - Stabbing incident occurred at about 6:30 PM November 25, 2014 in Barangay Macasing, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Danny Gandipon Y Anting, 26, married, a farmer, resident of said place. He was stabbed by the suspects identified as certain Bing Sayalon and his brother Arcadio Sayalon, both resident of the aforementioned place. The suspects and the victim were having drinking session at the house of Eliezar Bundasin, however, according to the victim while he is in the course of drinking pangasi wine one of the  suspects identified as Bing Sayalon suddenly stabbed his back  while Arcadio Sayalon  boxed him hitting his face. The victim sustained two stabbed wounds at the back portion of his body and was brought to Mhar Hospital Ozamis City for medical treatment. The suspects immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident while the motive of the incident is personal grudges. The elements of Dumingag MPS now conducted hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the suspects

Vehicular Accident in Tigbao

Motor vehicular accident occurred at about 11:30 AM November 25, 2014 in Barangay Nilo, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur. Wherein a unit of Yamaha dt125 single motor color blue driven by Gregorio Media Y Capatan, 50, accidentally collided to one unit of Kawasaki aura110 color blue, bearing the plate number KJ 5467, driven by Romeo Pielago Y Flores, 59, with two back riders namely Jaime Insic and Myrna Insic. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the Yamaha dt125 was traversing the national road from Pagadian bound to Zamboanga City and upon reaching the aforementioned place accidentally sideswipe the sign board mounted near the school pedestrian lane and bumped to Kawasaki aura110 which was also traversing the national road from the opposite lane. The incident resulted to the damage of both motorcycles. Both drivers and passengers sustained injuries and immediately brought to Pagadian Medical Center for medical treatment. Both motor vehicles temporarily impounded to Tigbao MPS for proper disposition.

Shooting in Pagadian City

Pagadian City - Shooting incident occurred at about 8:00 PM November 25, 2014 in Barangay Napolan, Pagadian City. The victim was identified Romeo Borbios Y Lomongo, 42, married, construction worker, and resident of said place. He was shot to death by unidentified  suspect  with the use of caliber .45 pistol based on the evidence recovered from the crime scene two empty shells and one deformed slug /lead of same caliber. Investigation revealed prior to the incident; the victim was lying in the wooden floor of their house together with his 2 year old daughter when the suspect insert the barrel of his firearm through hole near the head of the victim and shot twice hitting the victim head. He was brought by his wife to the Borbon Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. The suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting follow- up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect.

Man Arrested in Pagadian City

Pagadian city- a 29-year old tricycle driver was arrested by the Pagadian City Police Station after he was caught playing “cara y cruz” along with his fellow divers beside Plaza Luz, FS Pajares Avenue, Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City.  Arrested was identified as Renemar Mondelo Y Catarman, 29, single, tricycle driver and resident of Barangay Kawit, Pagadian City. Seized from his possession are toss coins and the bet money. Suspect is now detained at said police station while preparing a case for violation of 1602 (illegal gambling) for filing in court against the suspect.

Robbery Incident in San Pablo

San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur- robbery incident occurred at about 9:00 AM November 26, 2014 at Purok Kabatuan, Mabuhay, San Pablo. The victim was identified as Crisfelin Mantos Y Boque, 32, married and a resident of Poblacion, San Pablo. initial investigation conducted by the responding PNP elements of San Pablo MPS revealed that the victim was on her way from Poblacion going to Pagadian City driving her single MC XRM 125, however, upon reaching at the aforesaid place, unidentified suspects armed with a bolo blocked her way causing her to fell off. Suspect immediately grabbed her sling bag containing cash money amounting to three thousand pesos (P 3,000.00) more or less, tablet gadget and 2 unit cherry mobile cell phone. The suspects then fled away to unknown direction after the incident. The San Pablo MPS now conducted hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the suspect.

Stabbing incident in Tambulig

Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur- on or about 8:00 PM November 25, 2014 in Barangay Limamaan, Tambulig, a stabbing incident that transpired at the aforesaid place. The victim was identified as Hermoso Jonathan Y Parella, 33 years old, habal-habal driver, married and a resident of Barangay Capocao, Ozamis city. Accordingly, the victim was requested by two unidentified commuters from Ozamis City to take them to Barangay Liloan, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental, however, upon arrival at their destination, the two unidentified passengers suddenly grabbed his MC Key while the other suspect pointed a bladed weapon and let him rode at the back of the MC and drove towards the Barangay Limamaan. investigation disclosed that upon reaching at the abovementioned place, he was stabbed by the suspect several times at different parts of his body and carted away his Honda wave 110 MC color black with plate number 9633 KR. The victim sustained stabbed wound on the different part of his body and immediately brought to Blancia Hospital for medication while the suspects fled towards unknown direction.

3 Wanted Persons Arrested in Bayog

Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur – three individuals who were facing murder charges and belong to the top 12 most wanted in Bayog was arrested by the operatives of Bayog MPS in Barangay Kahayagan, Bayog at abot 9:15 AM November 25, 2014.  Arrested were a certain Romeo Ambucay, Let Edal and Luz Edal. The three had a a pending warrant of arrest for the crime of murder under criminal case no. criminal 7880 dash 2k5 issued by Honorable Aniceto B. Galon Jr. Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City. They were brought and detained at the Bayog MPS while waiting for court commitment order from the court.

Vehicular Accident in Mahayag

Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur – on or about 5:00 PM November 26, 2014, a traffic accident occurred at Barangay Road, Purok 5, Guripan, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur.  investigation conducted revealed that the victim identified as Andre Patijan Gemina a.k.a. “Taloy”, 36 years old, single,  was traveling at the aforesaid place heading to Poblacion, Mahayag, driving his Honda XRM 125 cc single MC red bearing plate number 3029 KJ registered in the name Elena C. Ramirez, resident of Oroquita, Misamis Occidental per certificate of registration number 9237639-5 and official receipt number 596501485) accidentally crashed on the road resulting his instantaneous death due to severe head injury. The motorcycle of the victim is now at the custody of Mahayag MPS for proper disposition.

Fire Incident

San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur – a fire incident took place at about 11:00 AM November 26, 2014 at Purok Makiangayon, Poblacion, San Pablo. Wherein the house of a certain Daisy Agum Y Dalapu, 48 years old, married and a resident at the aforementioned place was burned by fire. Initial investigation conducted by San Pablo MPS disclosed that the fire started at the bedroom and quickly spread to the whole portion of the house which was made of light materials only. The estimated damages including personal belongings are amounting to thirty thousand pesos (P 30,000.00) more or less. The cause of fire is still to be determined.

Theft Suspect Arrested

Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur – on or about 3:00 PM November 26, 2014, SPO1 Archer Cerna Gallego, a PNP member of Molave MPS was notified by employees at Integrated Bus and Jitney Terminal (IBJT) in Molave of the theft incident transpired at the aforesaid place. Immediately the operatives of Molave MPS led by SPO1 Archer Gallego, arrested the assailant identified as Vicente Vejo Jr., 36, married and a resident of Barangay Tagitik, Kapatagan, Lanao Del Norte. Investigation showed that the suspect unsuccessfully stealing the laptop of one PDEA agent assigned at Region 7 in Cebu City while inside the Rural Bus Transit. The arrested person also had a standing alias warrant of arrest issued by Judge Albert Kalalo, Branch 4, Batangas City Regional trial Court under criminal case no. 16838 for the crime of qualified theft. He is being detained at said police station while waiting for court disposition order.

3 Caught While Playing Tong-its

Pagadian City - three individuals were arrested by the elements of Pagadian City Police Station after they were caught playing “Tong-its” along the vicinity of Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City at about 9:00 PM November 26, 2014. Arrested were Jopeth Aljas Y Cubio, 20; Mario Maribao Y Buco, 34; Roger Conde Y Pepito, 20. Recovered from the suspects is bet money amounting to two hundred forty five pesos (P 245.00) in different denominations and one set playing cards. The three suspects are now temporarily detained at the said police station while a case for violation of P.D. 1602 is now being prepared for filing in court.

Man with Frustrated Murder Case Captured

Pagadian City - The operatives of Lapuyan MPS led by their Chief of Police, Police Inspector Roger A, Bartiana arrested Jesus Lumio alias Visaya during manhunt- operation at Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Pagadian City at about 6:00 PM November 26, 2014. The suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest with criminal case nos. 03-028, 06-020-fm-3 to 06-023-fm-6 for the crime of frustrated murder issued by Hon. Edilberto G. Absin, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 29, Pagadian City. He is now detained at Lapuyan MPS while awaiting the court order for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident in San Miguel

San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur – shooting incident transpired at Purok 4, Barangay San Isidro, San Miguel at about 6:30 PM November 27, 2014. The victim was identified as Jodem Doncillo Maglasang, 26 year old, married, farmer and resident of aforementioned same place. He was shot by an unidentified assailant/s with the use of homemade shotgun (12 gauge) based on the x-ray report by Margosatubig Regional Hospital. The victim incurred three (3) gunshot wounds on his upper back portion of his body. Initial investigation disclosed that the victim has just returned home from Barangay Maralag, Lapuyan. He was at his house, when he was about to step down at the ladder to feed his domestic animals, suddenly he was shot once by an unidentified assailant/s who prepositioned and hiding themselves in the corn plants situated more or less  four (4) meters away from the victim’s position. Based on the victim’s revelations, he was not able to identify the assailant/s since the area was already covered with darkness. The motive of incident is believed to personal grudge and the suspect/s immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident while the victim is now confined at the Margosatubig Regional Hospital for further medical treatment. The Margosatubig MPS is still conducting deep investigation on the incident.

Suzuki Motorcycle Stolen in Pagadian City

Pagadian City – a motorcycle was reportedly stolen at about 9:40 PM November 27, 2014 as reported by the owner identified as James Brade Manait, 23, located in Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City. The motorcycle was a Suzuki raider 150cc motorcycle, color red with white color combination. It was lost and believed to be taken by unidentified suspect while being parked at the roadside of Barangay Tuburan, Pagadian City.
