PRESS RELEASE

SHOOTING INCIDENT IN SAN MIGUEL

On or about 10:15 in the evening of December 09, 2014, one (1) Samuel Nuena Gemar, Barangay Chairman of peace and order committee of Barangay Liboganan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur reported to San Miguel Police Station informing that a shooting incident transpired at Purok San Francisco of said barangay. PNP elements of San Miguel Police Station led by PInsp Hugo Asequia Lacapag Jr., OIC proceeded to the aforesaid place to conduct ocular investigation. initial investigation conducted revealed that the victim identified as Gilbert Manlangit Garing, 35 year old, single, farmer and a resident of said barangay was shot to death in a close range while sleeping at his shanty situated in the cornfield at the aforementioned place by an unidentified suspect/s using unknown caliber of firearm. Victim sustained lone gunshot wound at the left portion of the back of his head that caused his instantaneous death while suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. Follow-up investigation still conducted by san Miguel police station to determine the motive of the crime and to identify the suspect. ATTEMPTED CARNAPPING/HOLD-UP INCIDENT AND ACCOMPLISHMENT ON LOOSE FIREARM IN PAGADIAN CITY      

On or about 7:20 in the evening of December 09, 2014, one (1) Ceriaco Y Seldura, 20 years old, male, single and a resident of Tiguma, Pagadian City personally came to Pagadian City Police Station informing that he was allegedly robbed/holdup by unidentified person at Barangay Tawagan, Pagadian City. PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station led by PInsp Lerma Cañete Boron proceeded to the abovementioned place to conduct inspection/investigation. initial investigation disclosed that while the victim was riding his single motorcycle when unidentified person stopped and asked him to convey him to Cartuhano Resort located at Barangay Tawagan, Pagadian City but upon arriving near Cartuhano Resort, the suspect suddenly commanded him to stop and afterwards immediately disembarked and drew his caliber .45 colt with serial nr 530610 and subsequently gun pointed to him and took the key of his driven motorcycle Honda Wave 100 color blue and black combination including his money on the pocket amounting to Eighty Pesos (Php 80.00) but the said victim was able grappled and fight back and disarmed the suspect causing the latter to run away to unknown direction. Few minutes later, Barangay Tanods of tawagan together with Barangay Captain Marcaban of the said barangay responded to the area to arrest the suspect but the latter was able to evade arrest. Victim sustained lacerated wound on his cheek and a bite wound on his left arm. Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting discreet operation for the possible arrest of the suspect while appropriate case is being prepared for filing in court. OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS

ARRESTED WANTED PERSON

On or about 6:00 in the evening of December 10, 2014, PNP elements of Tukuran Police Station proceeded to Barangay Curvada, Tukuran Zamboanga Del Sur and arrested one (1) Antonio Cadutdut Jr. Y Luardo alias “Dode”,  27 years old, married, driver and a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Manlayag, Tukuran Zamboanga Del sur by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Rolando L. Goan Presiding Judge dated December 2, 2014 for the crime of Carnapping (violation of R.A. 6539) docketed under criminal case no. 11845-2k14 with bail bond recommended fixed at One Hundred Eighty Thousand Pesos (Php 180,000) for his temporary liberty. Said accused is now temporary detained at Tukuran Police Station locked-up cell awaiting for court commitment order.

TUKURAN

On or about 5:00 in the afternoon of December 10, 2014, PNP elements of Tukuran Police Station proceeded to Purok Bangus, Barangay Alindahaw, Tukuran Zamboanga Del Sur and arrested one (1) Julito Juntilla Jr. Y Obedencia alias “Junjun”, 18 years old, with live-in partner and a resident of Purok Lomboy, Barangay Tabuan, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Dennis P. Vicoy, Presiding Judge dated November 19, 2014 for the crime of Murder docketed under criminal case no. 11811-2k14 with no bail bond recommended. Said accused is now detained at Tukuran Police Station locked-up cell awaiting for court commitment order.

SHOOTING INCIDENT IN LAPUYAN

On or about 7:10 in the evening of December 10, 2014 at Purok 6, Barangay Bulawan, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein one (1) Aguinaldo Dadan Y Sacal, 34 years old, male, married, Filipino, farmer and a resident of the aforesaid place Purok 6, Barangay Bulawan, Lapuyan Zamboanga Del Sur was shot by unidentified suspect while lying on the cradle outside their house for three (3) consecutive times hitting in his left arm and back of his body with the used of .45 caliber pistol base on the empty shell recovered from the crime scene. Victim was immediately brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medication and subsequently forwarded to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for further medical treatment. Motive of incident is still to be determined. Lapuyan Police Station is now conducting follow investigation for possible identification of the suspect. SHOOTING INCIDENT IN PITOGO

On or about 9:10 in the evening of December 10, 2014, along provincial highway particularly at purok 1, barangay sugbay dos, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur wherein victim identified as one (1) Belmar Barrientos Y Malinao, 30 years old and a resident of Barangay Old Mirapao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot to death by unidentified suspect/s with the used of 5.56 caliber firearm. Initial invest conducted by Pitogo Police Station revealed that while the victim together with his father in law named Avelino Macalma Y Baran had a drinking session at the aforesaid place when suddenly shot to death by unidentified suspect. Victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds at the different parts of his body resulting to instantaneous death. Recovered from the crime scene were sixteen (16) empty shells of same caliber. PNP elements of Pitogo Police Station led by PInsp Mario Abelo Regidor, OIC conducted deeper investigation for possible solution of the case and a discreet operation is now conducted by same PNP elements for possible identification and arrest of the suspect/s. motive of the incident is still to be determined. ARRESTED WANTED PERSON IN PAGADIAN CITY

On or about 2:00 in the afternoon of December 10, 2014, joint PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station under PSupt Glenn Dulawan, Lapuyan Police Station under PInsp Roger A. Bartiana and Margos Police Station under PSInsp Jonathan Presto Lladoc conducted manhunt operation  at Wharf Area, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the successful arrest of one (1) Rico ‘’Bobong’’ Ariola Reynaldo, 40 years old, married, male, businessman and a resident of Maruing, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of alias warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court, 9th Juducial Region, Branch 29,  San Miguel, Zamboaqnga Del Sur issued on  January 2, 1996 under criminal case no. 95-019 for the crime of Robbery with Homicide with no bail recommended. Subject arrested person was brought to Margos Police Station for proper disposition. The aforementioned alias warrant of arrest emanates from the case filed by Lapuyan Police Station against the arrested wanted person and his cohorts.

Acts Of Lasciviousness Arrested in Aurora

On or about 8:15 in the evening of December 10, 2014, PNP elements of Aurora Police Station led by PInsp Heidel B. Te-Elan, OIC proceeded to Barangay Romarate, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur and successfully arrested one (1) Johnrey Francisco Y Juanico, 25 years old, single, a pedicab driver and presently residing at the aforesaid place. subject person was arrested at his rented house at the above-mentioned address by virtue of warrant of arrest duly issued and signed by Hon Jaime B Caberte, Acting Presiding Judge, RTC branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur for the crime of Acts Of Lasciviousness in relation to R.A. 7610 docketed under cc nr 14-10, 1121 with bail fixed at Sixty Thousand Pesos (php60, 000.00) for his temporary liberty. Accused is now temporarily detained at Aurora Police Station locked-up cell while waiting for court commitment order.

Motorcycle Stolen in Pagadian City 

Pagadian City - On or about 7:45 in the evening of December 10, 2014, one Romel Laquet Y Pobadura, 26, married, resident of Barangay Pogwan, Mahayag personally appeared and reported to Pagadian CPS informing that his single MC Rusi, color black with white combination was allegedly stolen by  an unidentified suspect. Accordingly, prior to the incident, his single MC was hired and chartered by an unidentified suspect in the amount of five hundred pesos (P 500.00) to transport him from Molave Municipality to Pagadian City purposely to fetch the wife of the said suspect, however, while on their way going to Pagadian City, suspect requested the driver to stop at Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City particularly along Pajares Avenue fronting the establishment of chooks to go purposely to buy Lechon Manok. The driver then bought a Lechon Manok leaving the suspect who then suddenly fled towards unknown direction using the single MC Rusi of the victim. The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducted follow - up investigation and operation to possibly recover the single MC and arrest the suspect.
