Dead Body Recovered in Pagadian City

Pagadian City- A male dead was reportedly found at about 1:50 PM December 1, 2014 by Charlie Guevarra, 40, driver of City Cooperative Office, Pagadian city, in Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City.  The victim age is 27 to 32, 5’3” in height, medium in build with mark on his both wrists, bruises at the right portion of his forehead, a contusion at the right portion of his cheek. The victim was believed to be was stroked by a blunt object. The cadaver of the victim now lies at Gamalinda Funeral Homes. The Pagadian CPS and the SOCO is now conducting post mortem exam to determine the cause of his death.

Vehicular Accident in Dumingag

Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur – A vehicular incident transpired at San Jose St., Barangay San Pedro, Dumingag at about 1:35 PM December 1, 2014. The victim was identified as Rolando Romano, 18, a truck man, resident of Barangay Tulohon, Siayan. He was on board owner type jeep color green bearing plate no. kea 386 owned by Engr. Salvio Retes with attached and extension trailer loaded of sand and cement driven by Ronnie Dagdag Tecson, 38, married, resident of Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted by Dumingag MPS  disclosed that the victim was on board of the said jeep traversing from Purok Gumamela, Barangay San Pedro bound to Barangay Pugwan, however, upon reaching at the above-mentioned place, the victim allegedly jumped from the jeep. He sustained severe head injury which resulted to his instantaneous death. The driver and jeep was brought to Dumingag MPS for proper disposition.

Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident

Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur – motor vehicle traffic accident occurred at about 7:00 PM December 1, 2014 along the national highway at the vicinity of Barangay Esperanza, Ramon Magsaysay, involving a single motorcycle red and white MCX 125 bearing plate no. mc 9280-JL, driven by a certain Jemar Loyoloyo, of legal age, resident of Barangay Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay and a willy’s jeep bearing plate no. jan-588, driven by Rey Tagab Y Sereño, 29, resident of Barangay Sicayab, Dipolog City. Investigation Showed that the single motorcycle was traversing from Molave going to the direction of Ramon Magsaysay, however, upon reaching at the vicinity of the above-mentioned place, suddenly came in contact to a Willy’s jeep. The driver of single motorcycle MCX 125 sustained multiple laceration and fracture in the different parts of his body and was immediately brought to Blancia Hospital in Molave for his medical treatment. both motor vehicles together with the driver of the willy’s jeep were brought to the Ramon Magsaysay MPS for safekeeping and proper disposition awaiting for proper filing of appropriate criminal charge.

LBC Branch in Pagadian City Robbed

Pagadian City - robbery (hold-up) incident occurred at about 9:10 AM December 2, 2014 inside the LBC branch located at J.P. Rizal St., Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City. based on the investigation conducted by the Pagadian CPS, two (2) unidentified male suspects, one of them wearing black and white jacket, long pants,  white ball cap, sun glass and medium in body built entered the abovementioned establishment and drew his undetermined caliber of short firearm from his sling bag and declared hold- up. Suspect then proceeded to the office of Regilyn G Monding, LBC assistant team leader and gun- pointed her and commanded her to open the safety vault while the other suspect who was armed with allegedly semi- automatic rifle positioned himself at the entrance door and acted as a look out. The suspects successfully carted away the money amounting to one hundred sixty six thousand pesos (P 166,000.00) more or less from the said establishment. They then fled towards J.P. Rizal Avenue going to unknown direction on board with a black XRM single motorcycle. The Pagadian CPS is now conducting follow - up operation to possibly determine the identities of the perpetrators and their group affiliation for filing of appropriate criminal charges against them in court

Stabbing in Midsalip

Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur - Stabbing incident took place at about 8:30 in the evening of December 2, 2014 at Barangay Poblacion, Midsalip. The victim was identified as Carlos Velvistre Y Dela Rosa alias Dodoy, 44 years old, married, farmer and a resident of said place. He was stabbed by a certain Edwin Banol Y Monsalod, 40 years old, married, farmer and also resident of same place. The victim sustained one stabbed wound on his abdomen and was rushed to Midsalip Infirmary Hospital for medication. The suspect was arrested by the responding Midsalip PNP team led by SPO3 Juanito Daing Aballe  Jr. confiscated from his possession was his hunting knife used in the stabbing measuring 12 inches  long from tip to handle with scabbard. He is now temporarily detained at Midsalip MPS while appropriate case is being prepared for filing in court.

Jobless Man Nabbed for Drugs

Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur – a 20-year old jobless was arrested during anti-illegal drugs operation at the corner of Burgos Ext. And Abad Santos Streets, Barangay Madasigon, Molave at about 4:00 in the afternoon of December 2, 2014. The suspected drug pusher was identified as Garnet Navarro Y Aya-Ay, 20, single, jobless and resident of Quezon Street, Barangay Madasigon. confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect were sliced/cut big square transparent cellophane sachet containing seven (7) heat sealed transparent rectangular shaped cellophane sachets of white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride commonly known “shabu”, seven (7) rolled aluminum foils, proceeds money and one mobile cellphone. Arrested suspect is presently detained at Molave MPS while case for violation of R.A. 9165 is prepared for filling before the provincial prosecutor as an inquest case.

2 Teen Caught Sniffing Shabu

Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur – Two individuals were arrested after they were caught sniffing a Shabu inside the vacant house in Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling at about 6:00 in the morning of December 2, 2014. Arrested were identified as Pipito Sanches Y Busante, 20 and Bert Jay Patalot Y Muntifalcon, 19, both resident of said place. The Dimataling MPS were able to recovers from their position and control were one pc (1) improvised tooter, ten pcs (10) empty plastic sachet containing residues of white crystalline granules and two (2) disposable lighter. Prior to their arrest, a text message was received by Dimataling MPS informing that two suspicious individuals entered to the vacant house of a certain Oliver Ordeniza located at the above-mentioned place. Acted on the report, the operatives of the said police station responded and silently entered inside the house. They personally caught in the act the two teen sniffing a suspected Shabu.  The two suspects were immediately arrested in the brought to Dimataling MPS for proper disposition

Shooting in Dinas

Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur - Shooting incident occurred in Barangay Mirapao, Dinas at around 10:00 in the evening of December 2, 2014. The victim was identified as Jaime Baroga, 40 years old, farmer, and married of Iligan City. Prior to the incident; the victim was walking  on his way home bound to the house of his sister at Barangay Dongos, however, upon reaching at the above mentioned place of incident, victim was waylaid by unidentified suspect and fired at him. He sustained gunshot wound hitting the back portion of his body with the used of unknown caliber handgun and was rushed to Pagadian City Hospital for immediate medical treatment.  The suspect fled heading to unknown direction after the commission of the crime.  PNP elements Dinas MPS are still conducting follow- up investigation and manhunt operation for arrest of the fleeing suspect.

Man Held for Estafa

Pagadian City – the elements of Pagadian CPS led by Police Inspector Lerma C. Boron, Chief WCPD, arrested Maone Joel Morales Y Doliente in Barangay Tulangan, Pagadian City at around 9:35 in the morning of December 3, 2014. She was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of estafa (Art 351 of RPC) under criminal case no. 11469-2k14 issued by Hon Romeo T Descallar Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region Branch 19, Pagadian City on O5 May 2014. Suspect is now temporarily detained at the detention cell of said police station while waiting for commitment order from the issuing court.

Anti-Illegal Gambling Task Force Nabs Female Collector

Pagadian City -   The Provincial Anti-Illegal Gambling Special Operation Task Force (PAIGSOTF) conducted search and seizure operation by virtue of search warrant no.184 - Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation in Barangay Lapedian, Pagadian City at around 7:00 in the evening of December 2, 2014. This resulted to the arrest of Ana Maria E. Pabi, legal age, married, a resident of the above mentioned place. During the operation, the items recovered her possession are peso bill, one notebook, two ball pen and three hundred forty nine (349) tally sheets. The Pagadian CPS had already filed a case before the City Prosecutor Office; Pagadian City Docketed under I.S. no ix-05-inq-14l-00253.

Shooting in Pagadian City

Pagadian City – A shooting incident transpired at Rizal Avenue, Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian  City particularly in front of Emmanuel Trading at about 6:00 PM December 3, 2014. The victim was identified as Rito Masong Y Encabo, 43, married, Manager Branch 2 Odyssey Motors and a resident of Barangay Mecolong, Dumalinao. He was shot to death by unidentified suspect with the use of caliber .45 pistol based on the evidence recovered from the crime scene two (2) empty shells. Prior to the incident, the victim was  riding his MC XRM 125 bearing plate number 7875 JL black and white combination together with his back rider identified as Junriel Lesaran Y Bordios from odyssey branch 1 main office located at Barangay Lumbia, Pagadian City, however, upon reaching the place of incident, they did not notice that they were already tailed by the unidentified suspects on boar single MC XRM 125 without plate number attached, one of the suspects shot the victim twice hitting on his head which caused of his instantaneous death. The witness added that when he heard the gun fires/burst, he was shocked and they were crashed to the ground and he saw the gun man pointed to him and he ran away to Emmanuel Trading hiding himself to the perpetrators. The suspects fled towards the direction of Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City. The cadaver of the victim was brought to Fatima Funeral Homes while the Pagadian CPS is now conducting follow- up investigation for possible arrest of the suspect

Ramon Magsaysay Police Arrests Notorious Rapist

Intel operatives of Ramon Magsaysay MPS received a call from reliable source that a wanted person sighted at barangay paradise, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur, On or about 1:00 PM December 3, 2014, Intel operatives of Ramon Magsaysay MPS proceeded to the aforesaid place and successfully arrested one (1) Edilberto Matalay Y Atad, 64, married and a resident of the abovementioned place by virtue of Warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Jaime Caberte Acting Presiding Judge of RTC branch 30, Aurora, for the crime of rape by sexual assault docketed in criminal case no. 14-120, 1118, acts of lasciviousness in relation to RA 7610 in criminal case no. 14-10,1117 and rape by sexual intercourse in criminal case no. 14-10,1116. Suspect is now temp detained at said police station pending issuance of commitment order for the transfer custody of Ramon Magsaysay district jail.
