INCIDENT REPORT
PAGADIAN CITY - AT ABOUT 6:30 AM ON FEBRUARY 06, 2018 A MALE DEAD BODY WAS FOUND AT WHARF AREA, PUROK BAGONG SILANG, BARANGAY STA. LUCIA, PAGADIAN CITY. THE VICTIM WAS LATER IDENTIFIED AS MARCIAL MARSON ORTEGA, 70 YEARS OLD, MALE, MARRIED, LABORER AND RESIDENT OF BAGONG SILANG, BARANGAY STA. LUCIA, PAGADIAN CITY. THE VICTIM SUSTAINED GUNSHOT WOUNDS IN THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF HIS BODY THAT RESULTED TO HIS INSTANTANEOUS DEATH. INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED DISCLOSED THAT AROUND 5:30 AM OF SAME DATE, THE WIFE OF THE VICTIM NAMED SITA MAQUINTO ORTEGA PERSONALLY NOTICED ALONG HER WAY COMING FROM THE VIDEO-K ESTABLISHMENT OF SAID PLACE MORE OR LESS 100 METERS AWAY FROM HER HOUSE, THAT HER HUSBAND WAS LYING ON THE GROUND NEAR HER HOUSE BATHED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD AND SUSTAINED GUNSHOT WOUNDS IN THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF HIS BODY. FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT BASED ON THE STATEMENT OF THE WIFE OF THE VICTIM, HER HUSBAND WAS THREATEN AND HAD A HEATED ARGUMENT WITH CERTAIN JOSHUA YBANEZ AND THE INCIDENT WAS REFERRED TO THE BARANGAY HALL OF STA. LUCIA, PAGADIAN CITY. PNP PERSONNEL OF PAGADIAN CPS CONDUCTED THOROUGH INVESTIGATION TO POSSIBLY IDENTIFY, LOCATE AND ARREST THE SUSPECT. EVIDENCE RECOVERED FROM THE CRIME SCENE ARE SIX (6) FIRED CARTRIDGE CASE OF CALIBER 45 PISTOLS AND ONE (1) SLUG OF SAME CALIBER. THE VICTIM NOW LIES AT GAMALINDA FUNERAL HOMES, BULATOK, PAGADIAN CITY. THE POSSIBLE MOTIVE OF THE INCIDENT BELIEVED TO BE PERSONAL GRUDGE.

ARREST OF WANTED PERSON
PITOGO - AT ABOUT 10:30 AM ON FEBRUARY 06, 2018, PNP PERSONNEL OF PITOGO MPS L CONDUCTED POLICE OPERATION (SERVICE OF ARREST WARRANT) AT SITIO TEJOME, BARANGAY BALONG-BALONG, PITOGO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE OPERATION RESULTED TO THE ARREST OF ANITA BANDALA MANDAO, 51 YEARS OLD, FEMALE, MARRIED; ANGELITA MANDAO COBRADO, 48 YEARS OLD, FEMALE, MARRIED; IRISH MANDAO ENANOD, 23 YEARS OLD, FEMALE, SINGLE; AND ALBERTO BANDALA MANDAO, 59 YEARS OLD, MALE, MARRIED, ALL RESIDENTS OF BARANGAY BALONG-BALONG, PITOGO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. THE ACCUSED WERE ARRESTED BY VIRTUE OF WARRANT OF ARREST FOR THE CRIME OF QUALIFIED THEFT, DOCKETED UNDER CRIMINAL CASE NUMBER 17-109, ISSUED BY HON. RUBEN N BANCE, PRESIDING JUDGE, 9TH JUDICIAL REGION, RTC, BRANCH 29, SAN MIGUEL, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR DATED JANUARY 04, 2018 WITH BAIL BOND RECOMMENDED OF FORTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP 40,000.00) EACH. THE ACCUSED WERE TEMPORARILY DETAINED AT PITOGO MPS AWAITING COURT DISPOSITION.

SMUGGLED CIGARETTES
PITOGO - AT ABOUT 4:15 AM ON FEBRUARY 6, 2018 PNP PERSONNEL OF PITOGO MPS LCONDUCTED RANDOM CHECKPOINT ALONG PROVINCIAL ROAD OF BARANGAY SUGBAY DOS, PITOGO, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR. UPON TERMINATION OF THEIR CHECKPOINT OPERATION, THE TEAM NOTICED THAT THERE WERE BOXES BEING LEFT BEHIND BESIDE THE PROVINCIAL ROAD, A WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE ESTABLISHED CHECKPOINT.  UPON VERIFICATION, IT WAS FOUND OUT THAT FOUR (4) BOXES CONTAINING ASSORTED RIMS OF CIGARETTES BELIEVED TO BE FAKE/SMUGGLED PRODUCTS, TO WIT: TWENTY-SEVEN (27) RIMS OF NAVY, EIGHTEEN (18) RIMS OF MIGHTY GREEN; SIXTEEN (16) RIMS OF MIGHTY PUTI; TWENTY ONE (21) RIMS OF JACKPOT; TWENTY NINE (29) RIMS OF FORT; TWO (2) RIMS OF MARVELS; FIVE (5) RIMS OF CAMEL; THREE (3) RIMS OF UNION AND SEVEN (7) RIMS OF MALBORO.  THE SAID 128 RIMS OF ASSORTED CIGARETTES ARE NOW IN THE CUSTODY OF PITOGO MPS FOR INVESTIGATION AND PROPER DISPOSITION.
