Incident in San Pablo
Hacking incident transpired at Purok Venus,
Barangay Culasian, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur on May 10, 2018 at about 7:30
AM.
The victim identified as Roberto Rasonable Y
Villamor, 47 years old, married, farmer and resident of Purok Venus, Barangay
Culasian, San Pablo,
Zamboanga del Sur.
The suspects identified as Eduard Ruiz Y Saligan,
33 years old, married, farmer and one (1) Junrey Ruiz Y Saligan, single, 20
years old, and both resident of Purok Venus, Barangay Culasian, San Pablo,
Zamboanga del Sur.
Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to
the incident, the victim ordered a fighter wine to Cristine Tacuge, daughter of
Edita Tacuge owner of the store located at Purok Venus, Barangay Culasian of
said municipality.
The victim was told by Cristine to wait for a
while because her mother was not around, when suddenly the victim got angry to
her and attempted to strike using a bamboo stick.
The suspect Eduard Ruiz tried to pacify the
victim to calm down, but the victim struck him using a bamboo, which prompted
the suspect together with the help of his brother Junrey Ruiz Y Saligan to
retaliate using a bolo.
As a result, victim sustained hacked wounds on
right neck, right arm, right leg and right portion of the back of his body that
resulted to his instantaneous death.
The suspects were arrested by the responding PNP
personnel of San Pablo MPS and now temporary detained at San Pablo Municipal
Detention Center, while appropriate case for murder is being prepared for
filing in court. The motive of the incident believed to be personal grudge.

Arrest of
Wanted Person in Pagadian City
Detective personnel of Pagadian City Police
Station conducted police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at Justice
Hall, City Hall Complex, Gatas District, Pagadian City about 9:45 in the morning of May 11, 2018.
The operation resulted to the arrest of one (1) George
Eguia Ybañez, 60, years old, male, widower and a resident of Purok Chico Hills,
Barangay Tuburan, Pagadian City.
Accused has a pending warrant of arrest for the
crime of Use of Falsified Documents (last par. of Article 172 of the Revised
Penal Code) docketed under criminal case no. 17787 issued by Hon. Joel G
Vercede, Presiding Judge, Municipal Trial Court in Cities, 9th Judicial Region,
Branch 1, Pagadian City issued on May 7, 2018. Recommended bail bond is Four
Thousand Pesos (P4, 000.00) for temporary liberty.
Arrested person is now temporarily detained at Pagadian
City Police Station detention cell awaiting for commitment order from the
court.
