Rape Incident in Lakewood

On May 01, 2018 at about 10:00 AM, A 13 years old, female, and resident of Purok 6, Barangay Bag-ong Lakewood, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur personally appeared and reported to Lakewood MPS informing that said was sexually molested by her biological father/suspect.

The suspect identified as Rolando Umban Lumampad, 41 years old, married and resident of Purok 6, Barangay Kahayag, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur.

Upon receipt of the report, PNP personnel of Lakewood conducted police operation at Purok 2, Barangay Bag-ong Kahayag, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur that resulted to the arrest of the above-mentioned suspect around 2:00 PM of same date. 

Investigation conducted disclosed that allegedly the suspect sexually molested the victim on April 30, 2018 around 9:00 PM, inside the house of the suspect of said place.

The suspect is now temporary detained at Lakewood MPS while appropriate case for rape in relation to RA 7610 is now being prepared for filing in court.

Campaign against Illegal Logging

PNP personnel of Dumalinao MPS conducted mobile patrol operation at Barangay Pag-Asa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:40 AM on May 1, 2018.

The operation resulted to the interception of one (1) Isuzu elf truck, color white, bearing plate number glk 663, and driven by Melvin Evidientes, 34 years old, married, and resident of Barangay Upper Dumalinao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The vehicle was loaded with mahogany and gemilina lumber with estimated scale of 1,000 board feet, owned by certain Josefina C Llavado, legal age, and resident of Barangay Camalig, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Accordingly, the lumber was sold to Rogelia A Facelo, legal age and resident of Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. The driver of the vehicle failed to present legal documents/permit for transport to said lumber, thereby the vehicle to include the lumber were turned over to CENRO-Guipos municipality this province thru Mr. Romulo A Alimanza, NGP Extension Officer for proper disposition.

Vehicular Traffic Accident in Dumingag

Vehicular traffic accident transpired at Purok 6, Barangay Dulop, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:30 am on May 1, 2018.

The vehicle described as one (1) uv foton drop side, color white, bearing plate number 090107. The driver identified as John Totesora Valben, 30 years old, married, and resident of barangay Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay with three (3) passenger identified as Marilou Balbastro Mansenero, 35 years old, Crui Marl Mansenero, 3 years old, and Joven Ivan Totesora Yap, 16 years old, all resident of Barangay Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

The said vehicle was loaded with 100 sacks of soya and traversing from Dumingag municipality this province going to Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province. upon reaching at the hilly portion of Purok 6, Barangay Dulop, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The driver lost its control over his driven vehicle due to mechanical problem (brake malfunction) as alleged by the driver.  The vehicle swerved and fell down into the hilly portion of said place. as a result, the victim Mrs. Marilou Mansenero, died on the spot while the driver along with other passengers sustained serious injuries in the different parts of their bodies and were rushed to Sindangan Medical Hospital, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte for immediate medical treatment.

RA 7610 Violator Arrested in Dimataling

PNP personnel of Dimataling MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok 6, Barangay Josefina, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM on May 1, 2018.

The operation resulted to the arrest of Cristino Damas Carpina, a.k.a. Dodo, 35 years old, married, farmer, and resident of Purok 6, Barangay Josefina, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of R.A 7610, docketed under criminal case no. 17-212, dated 11 January 2018 issued by Hon. Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur with bail bond recommended of eighty thousand pesos (Php 80,000.00).

Subject person is now temporary detained at Dimataling MPS awaiting court disposition.
