Vehicular Traffic Accident in Dumalinao
On or about 8:00 PM of May 2, 2018,
a Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired along the National Highway of
Purok Talaba, Barangay Camanga, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.
Upon receipt of said report, PNP
elements of Dumalinao MPS immediately responded and proceeded to the pace of
incident to conduct ocular inspection and investigation.
Upon arrival thereat, the team
found out one (1) single motorcycle, Raider, black with temporary plate no.
0920-967759 accidentally bumped a motor vehicle with cab number 0120, Barako,
color black with no plate no.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that, said single motorcycle Raider color black driven by Vernel
Cabantal Harilla, 16 years old, single, student, no driver’s license, and a
resident of Purok Marang, Barangay Sebucao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.
He was traversing from Barangay
Sumadat bound to Barangay Sebucao and upon reaching at the place of incident
accidentally bumped the said motor vehicle driven by Lorenzo Belotendos
Moncilla, 72 years old, married a resident of Purok Sebatang, Pagadian City who
was traversing from the municipality of Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur bound to
Poblacion Dumalinao.
As a result, both drivers sustained
injuries to the different parts of their body and were immediately rushed to
Pagadian City Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City.
Dumalinao MPS with contact no.
09102490367 is now conducting follow-up investigation regarding the incident.
Both vehicles are now impounded at Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.
Illegal
Cockfighting Activity in Pagadian City
On or about 2:00 PM of May 2, 2018,
Intel Operatives from Pagadian CPS received a cellular phone call from a
concerned citizen informing that an illegal cockfighting activity is
transpiring at Purok Orchid, Barangay Bomba, Pagadian City.
Acting on the said report elements
of Pagadian CPS responded to the reported area, thereat, bettors scampered to
different direction upon sensing the arrival of the operating team, but the
team were able to arrest one (1) Dalmacio Llena Busay, 47 years old, male,
married, fishermen and a resident of Purok Orchid, Barangay Bomba, Pagadian
City.
Recovered from his possession are
the two (2) live fighting cock. Arrested person and items confiscated are now
under the custody of Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

Wanted Persons Arrested in Aurora
Combined operatives of Zamboanga
Del Sur PPO and Aurora MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest
warrant) at Purok Mauswagon, Barangay Bagong Maslog, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at
about 4:20 AM of May 2, 2018.
This resulted in the arrest of two
(2) wanted persons identified as Gilbert Hermocilla Engliza, 29 years old,
single, farmer with live-in partner and resident of Purok Fatima, Barangay
Bag-Ong Maslog, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur And Reynaldo Hermocilla Engliza Jr., 37
years old, married, farmer and resident of Barangay Bagong Maslog, Aurora,
Zamboanga Del Sur.
This is by virtue of warrant of
arrest for the crime of attempted murder, docketed under criminal case number
77-924-14, dated 01 April 2014, issued by Hon. Virginia Hofilena Europa,
Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 11th Judicial Region, Branch 11, Davao
City with bail bond recommended of one hundred twenty thousand pesos (php
120,000.00) each.
Both arrested person are now
temporarily detained at Aurora Municipal Detention Center awaiting court
disposition.
