Two Drug Pushers Nabbed in Mahayag

Two suspected drug pushers were arrested at about 6:20 PM of September 11, 2014 by the operatives of Mahayag Police Station during buy bust operation at the vicinity of Barangay upper salug daku, mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur. Arrested suspects were identified as Marjury Dela Sierra Montefalcon, 32, resident of Tangub City and Leonardo Panidar Palomares alias “Nard”, 29, resident Of Tangub City. confiscated from the possession and control of Marjury Dela Sierra Montefalcon were fourteen (14) pcs of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu, fourteen (14) pcs rolled aluminum foils and four (4) pcs of one hundred peso bills (Php100.00) buy-bust money bearing serial numbers ea491621, ea491623, bv740156 and cf099612 while confiscated from the possession and control of Leonardo Panidar Palomares were ten (10) pcs of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu and ten (10) pcs rolled aluminum foils. Both the arrested suspects are now being detained at Mahayag Police Station for proper disposition.

Riding in Tandem Held in Checkpoint for Possessing Unlicensed Firearm

A 31 years old farmer and his companion were arrested by the elements of San Miguel Police Station during the conduction of checkpoint in Barangay Betinan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:55 PM of September 11, 2014. Suspects were held after a homemade revolver was found in their possession. Arrested were Ronald Brigola Cuno “aka” Dodong, 31 year old, married, farmer and Ariel Brigola Cuno “aka” Boyboy, both resident of Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Suspects were riding in tandem a single Honda XRM 125 colored black bearing plate number 5674 KX and traversing from their residence going to Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur, however, upon reaching at the abovementioned place was intercepted by the aforesaid PNP team conducting checkpoint operation. Seized from the possession and control of the back rider Ronald Brigola Cuno one (1) unit of homemade 357 revolver defaced serial number loaded with live six (6) ammo and failed to present legal documents authorizing him to possess said firearms. Arrested suspects are now temp detained at San Miguel Police Station for proper disposition while a case for violation of RA 10591 is being prepared for immediate filing in court.

SHOOTNG INCIDENT

On or about 8:00 in the evening of September 11, 2014 at Purok Mangga, Barangay Canunan Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Rolly Mahinay Y Cimafranca, 46 years old, married, resident of said place was shot by suspect identified as Allan Calimbang, 32 years old, married, farmer, resident of same place. Investigation conducted by Guipos Police Station disclosed that both victim and suspect were having al drinking spree at the store of certain Cendoy located at the abovementioned place when a heated argument ensued between them but same were pacified by their companions. A few minutes later, suspect went home and returned at about 8:00 in the evening of same date, armed with improvised homemade shotgun or locally known as “Sumpak” and shot the victim once. As a result, victim sustained pellet wounds on the different parts f his body and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for immediate medical treatment while suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. PNP elements of Guipos Police Station conducted a follow-up investigation to possibly locate and arrest the suspect. Recovered from the crime scene was one (1) fired cartridge case for twelve gauge shotgun while motive of the incident believed to be personal grudge. STABBING INCIDENT AND ARREST OF SUSPECT

On or about 4:45 in the afternoon of September 12, 2014, Dimataling Police Station received a call from concerned citizen informing that a stabbing incident transpired at Sitio Quarry, Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Dimataling Police Station led by PInsp Renante Bayona Benitez, OIC proceeded/responded to the reported place of incident purposely to verify and conduct investigation if affirmative. Upon arrival of the responding team, victim identified As Jemy Bosante Y Sanchez, 27 years old, single, jobless, resident of P-6, Sitio Quarry of said municipality who was already rushed to Dimataling Medical Center for immediate medical treatment. Investigation conducted by Dimataling Police Station disclosed that said victim was sleeping inside his house located at the aforesaid residence when suddenly suspect who was armed with a bolo and believed to be under the influence of alcohol forcibly entered his house and stabbed him without any apparent reason. As a result, victim sustained stabbed wounds on the different parts of his body and same was rushed to the aforesaid hospital for treatment. A dragnet operation was conducted at Sitio Quarry, Barangay Dimataling of said municipality that resulted to the arrest of the abovementioned suspect. Subject person is now temporarily detained at Dimataling Police Station locked-up cell while an appropriate case is being prepared against him. ARRESTED WANTED PERSON

On or about 8:30 in the morning of September 11, 2014, PNP elements of Tambulig Police Station led by PInsp Benjamin Casano Napigkit, COP proceeded to Barangay New Village, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur and arrested one (1) Kenneth Pagayuran Y Lenang aka bembem, 32 years old, single, farmer by occupation, resident of said place. subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder, issued by Presiding Judge Camilo E. Tamin of Regional Trial Court, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zambnoanga Del Sur docketed under cc# 2002-10-1243 dated June 21, 2002 with no bail recommended. Accused is now temporarily detained at Tambulig Police Station locked-up cell awaiting court disposition.

On or about 6:00 in the morning of September 12, 2014, PNP elements of Labangan Police Station led by PInsp Junar Clamonte Yap, DCOP, proceeded to Barangay Lower Pulacan, Labangan Zamboanga Del Sur to execute the warrant of arrest which resulted to the successful arrest of Arnulfo Caloma Braga, 49 years old, married, a resident of the above mentioned place for the crime of alarm and scandals, under criminal case number 16766, issued by Hon. Presiding Judge Joel G. Vercide of MTCC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 01, Pagadian City, dated  June 30, 2014.bailbond recommended for his temporary liberty is hereby fixed at php2,000.00. Accused is now temporary detained at Labangan Police Station lock-up cell while awaiting of the court order for proper disposition.

FOUND DEAD BODY

On or about 6:30 in the morning of September 12, 2014, Kumalarang Police Station received a cellular phone call from concerned citizen informing that a male dead body was found at Sitio Sayao, Barangay Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur. PNP elements of Kumalarang Police Station led by SPO1 Monerua Amerol Dacula, upon the direction of PInsp Leonel Pajarilla Roncesvalles, OIC together with personnel from  Municipal Health Office of Kumalarang Municipality, proceeded to the reported place of incident purposely to verify and conduct investigation. upon arrival of the responding team, a unidentified male dead body, aging 45- 50 years old, fair complexion, wearing long sleeve, color blue with white combination and  faded pocket short pants who was found lying lifeless with rope tied on his both hands and sustained hacked wounds on his body and neck. PNP elements of Kumalarang Police Station conducted a follow-up investigation for the possible identity and arrest of suspect. ARRESTED WANTED PERSON

On or about 11:55 in the morning of September 12, 2014, PNP elements of Pagadian City Police station led by SPO2 Carlos Omentic under the direction of PSupt Glenn Macario Dulawan, OIC proceeded to Paglaum II, Barangay Tuburan, Pagadian City to effect the warrant of arrest which resulted to the successful arrest of one Felipe Basaya, 65 years old, male, married, a resident of the above mentioned place. Accused is arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon Pablito S. Pielago Presiding Judge RTC branch 02, Pagadian City docketed under cc nr 16199 for the crime of Serious Slander by Deed with a bail fixed to Twelve Thousand Pesos (Php 12,000.00) for his temporary liberty. Accused immediately released after payment of the bail.
