OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS

Man Arrested while in Pagadian City Hospital

Police Operatives of Pitogo Police Station and Pagadian City Police Station arrested Ronel Gumintad aka “Insoy” Jun-Jun Gomiton for the crime of murder with criminal case number 13-087 issued on August 4, 2013 at RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur signed by Hon Judge Edilberto Absin. Suspect was arrested while confined at the Zamboanga Del Sur medical center in Pagadian City. He sustained gunshot wounds while being treated at the mentioned hospital.

Wanted Person Nabbed in Kumalarang

Operatives of Kumalarang Police Station arrested Rufino Urbano Y Emblode, 20, in Barangay Salagmanok, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 AM October 31, 2014. He was arrested based on warrant of arrest for viol of Batas Pambansa Bilang 6 Docketed under criminal case number 9239-2k8, issued by Hon Judge Benjamin R Lanzaderas of RTC-9 Branch 22, Pagadian City. Arrested suspect is now temporarily detained at the mentioned police station awaiting commitment order from the court concern.

2 Wanted People Nabbed for Murder

Two wanted person who were facing a murder case was arrested by the Pitogo Police Station during manhunt operation conducted at the House of Danny Nuevo in Barangay Sugbay, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:00 PM October 31, 2014. The arrested persons were identified as Ronel Gumintad ‘aka Insoy” and Frederick Gumintad “aka Dodong Bungi”. The two was charged for the crime of murder docketed in criminal case no.13-087 issued by Hon Presiding Judge Edilberto G Absin, Branch 29, Pagadian City. during the operation, the operating team recovered one (1) Cal 38 revolver loaded with five (5) ammos while four (4) was already fired and one (1) is live ammo with negative serial number and painted with color silver with electrical tape color black at the handle found at the bushy area ten (10) meters away from the house of Danny Nuevo. The two persons and the recovered firearms are now under the custody of Pitogo Police Station for proper disposition.

Swertres Collector Nabbed in V-Sagun

The Zamboanga Del Sur- Provincial Anti-Illegal Gambling Special Operation Task Force led by Police Senior Inspector Gerald P Aranas and PNP elements of V Sagun Police Station conducted operation against illegal number swertres game particularly at Sitio Liangan, Barangay Kabatan, Vincenzo Sagun at about 4:00 PM October 31, 2014. This resulted to the arrest of Carmen Pintac Y Pilota, 62 years old, widow and a resident of said place. The suspect was caught in the act of engaging illegal number game locally known as swertres outside her house. Confiscated from her possession and control were several improvised tally sheets; four (4) pcs blue ball pen; half sized film carbon and bet money. The arrested suspect was brought to Pagadian City by the Provincial Anti-Illegal Gambling Special Operation Task Force and a case for violation of RA 9287 was being prepared against the suspect for immediate filing in court

Dead Body Found in Mahayag

A male dead body found at Barangay Boniao, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 PM October 31, 2014. The victim was identified as Arnufo Caliso Cordita, 44 years old, farmer/rice field caretaker and a resident of above-mentioned place. He was found dead by certain Sencio Sagrado, farm owner and a resident of said place. Investigation conducted that the Mahayag Police with Alvin Talo Vale, the municipal rural health unit representative of Mahayag disclosed that according to the victim’s wife Analiza Cordita that her husband is suffering stomach pain and she believed that Arnulfo Caliso was suffering internal illness which believed to be the cause of his death.

Hacking in Pagadian City

Hacking incident occurred at about 5:30 PM October 31, 2014 in Barangay Tulawas, Pagadian City. The victim was identified as edwardo empalmado y Rabaca aka “Eddie” of legal age and a resident of said place. He was hacked by Ernesto Caruana Y Rabaca “aka Erning”, 22, a farmer and a resident of said place. Investigation conducted disclosed that the aforesaid victim and the suspect together with their friends were having a drinking session at Aquilles Atay Store when a heated argument ensued between them. Accordingly, the victim  blustered out annoying words to the aforesaid suspect that resulted the suspect to pulled the bolo tucked in his waist and hacked the victim. He sustained hacked wounds on the left side of his waist and left arm while the suspect was arrested by the Barangay Officials of the said place. Confiscated from the possession of the suspect was one (1) bolo approximately 16 inches long. The seized items were properly turned- over to the responding PNP team of Pagadian City Police for proper disposition. The victim is now confined at Zamboanga Del Sur Medical center for medical treatment while the Pagadian City Police Station is still conducting follow- up investigation regarding the incident.  An appropriate case is being prepared for immediate filing in court against the aforesaid suspect.

Shooting in Tambulig

Shooting incident took place at about 8:00 PM November 2, 2014 in Barangay Tuluan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Sosimo Interna Jr., married and a resident of said place. He was shot by unidentified suspect. Investigation conducted disclosed that the aforesaid victim was about to sleep in his residence together with his family when was shot by unidentified person with the used of unknown caliber type of firearm. The victim sustained gunshot wounds at the lower portion of his stomach. He was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for medical treatment. The suspect fled to unknown direction after the commission of the crime while the motive of the incident is still to be determined by the Tambulig Police Station which is now conducting follow- up investigation to possibly identify and arrest the suspect.

OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORTS

Jobless Held in Checkpoint for Drugs

A 26 years old jobless was nabbed during random checkpoint conducted by the Police operatives of Tukuran Police Station along provincial road in Purok Madasigon, Barangay San Carlos, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 7:40 PM November 2, 2014. Arrested was Samsodin Samuay Y Lao, 36, married, jobless and a resident of Lanao Del Norte. Seized from his possession and control one small plastic heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as Shabu; four rolled aluminum foil placed inside an oblong shape plastic container and one unit cherry mobile cellphone. Also confiscated was his driven single motorcycle motor star 125cc color black with plate no.  KO 8967. The arrested suspect is now being detained at Tukuran MPS for proper disposition while alpha case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared for immediate filing in court.

2 Caught in Margosatubig for Playing Poker

Police operatives of Margosatubig Police Station conducted operation against illegal gambling particularly card games locally known as “poker” at Fishing Port Area in Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 12:30 PM November 2, 2014. The operation resulted to the arrest two suspects identified as Bernardo Serenio Y Ladanan, 46 and Mercilino Serenio Y Ladanan, 53, both  residents of Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig. Confiscated during the operation are two (2) sets of playing cards and bet money. The two suspects are now temporarily detained at Margosatubig MPS for proper disposition while appropriate case is being prepared for immediate filing in court against them. 

HACKING INCIDENT

On or about  10:50 in the evening of November 02, 2014 a hacking incident at Purok Peña, Barangay Simata, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Ramil Baguio Monteverde, 37 years old, married, resident of said place was hacked to death by his cousin/suspect identified as Virgilio Beringuez Monteverde Jr., legal age, married, resident of same place. Investigation conducted by Molave Police Station disclosed that both victim and suspect together with their relatives were having a drinking spree at the abovementioned place when a heated argument ensued between them and suddenly the suspect who was armed with a bolo hacked the victim. As a result, victim sustained hacked wound on his neck and was rushed to Salug Valley Medical Center for immediate medical treatment but same was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. Suspect fled immediately to unknown direction after the incident. PNP elements of Molave Police Station conducted a follow-up investigation and operation to possibly arrest the fleeing suspect. An appropriate case for murder is now being prepared for filing in court. 

SHOOTING INCIDENT

On or about 8:00 in the evening of November 02, 2014 a shooting incident transpired at Barangay Tuluan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as one (1) Sosimo Interna Jr., married and a resident of said place was shot by unidentified suspect. PNP team of Tambulig Police Station proceeded to the aforesaid place to conduct investigation. Investigation disclosed that when the aforesaid victim was about to sleep in his residence together with his family was shot by unidentified person with the used of unknown caliber type of firearms. Victim sustained gunshot wounds at the lower portion of his stomach. Victim was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for medical treatment. Suspect fled to unknown direction after the commission of the crime. Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Tambulig Police Station is now conducting follow-up investigation to possibly identify and arrest the suspect. Investigator on case is SPO1 Regnel Bartolome Aliño with contact nr 0949 927 5617.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS

On or about 7:40 in the evening of November 02, 2014, PNP elements of Tukuran Police Station led by PSInsp Gilzen Niño Regis Manese, COP while conducting random checkpoint along provincial road of Purok Madasigon, Barangay San Carlos, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur successfully arrested one (1) Samsodin Samuay Y Lao, 36 years old, married, jobless and a resident of Poblacion, Salvador, Lanao Del Norte. confiscated from his possession and control one (1) pc of small plastic heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as shabu, four (4) pcs rolled aluminum foil placed inside an oblong shape plastic container and one (1) unit cherry mobile cellphone color orange. Also confiscated was his driven single motorcycle Motorstar 125cc color black with plate no.  KO-8967. Arrested suspect is now temporary detained at Tukuran Police Station locked-up cell for proper disposition while a case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for immediate filing in court.
