Arrest of Escapee
RAMON MAGSAYSAY, Zamboanga del Sur (July 1,
2018) –
The personnel of Ramon Magsaysay MPS and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology
(BJMP) rearrested one of the the escapees inmates at the mountainous area in
the municipality of Ramon Magsaysay on June 30, 2018 at about 10:30am. The
prisoners were reported escaped from BJMP District Jail, Ramon Magsaysay on
June 28, 2018 at 6:30am.
Prior
to his arrest, when the escapee noticed the presence of the responding PNP and
BJMP personnel, one of the police officer was shot by the escaped prisoners
using undetermined caliber of short firearm, which prompted the said police
officer to returned fire.
As a
result, the escapees identified as Danilo Dumandos was arrested by the
responding PNP personnel with no firearm recovered in his possession, while
Nestor Dumandos was able to elude arrest and carrying a short firearm heading
towards the hilly portion of Barangay Caniangan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del
Sur.
No
one was injured/hit during the incident. The arrested escapee is now temporary
detained at Ramon Magsaysay MPS detention cell and will be turned over to BJMP
District Jail of of this municipality for proper disposition.
RA 10591 Violator Arrested
DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (July 1, 2018) – Armed person was
arrested by the responding police operatives of Dinas MPS. Before his arrest, a
report received that unidentified male person armed with short firearms got wild
at the videoke house located at Purok 1A, Barangay Guinicolalay, Dinas of this
province on June 30, 2018 at about 7:00pm.
Upon
receipt of the report, PNP personnel of Dinas MPS immediately proceeded to the
reported place of incident to verify the report and conduct investigation.
Upon
arrival thereat, above-mentioned person was immediately frisk by the responding
PNP personnel and conducted body searched that resulted to the confiscation of
the following:
One
caliber 45 pistol, bearing serial number 638157 with
One
magazine loaded with three live ammunitions and
One
unit caliber 38 revolver, bearing serial number 103460 with
Three
live ammunitions from the possession and control of the suspect.
Subject
person later identified as Eugene Galleros Y Javier, 20 years old, single,
farmer, and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Nian, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur.
Subject
person failed to present legal documents authorizing him to carry such firearms
and same was immediately put into custody and brought to Dinas MPS for
detention and filing of appropriate case in court.
Appropriate
case for violation of RA 10591 is now being prepared for filing in court.
Laborer Arrested in Drug Bust
MARGOSATUBIG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 1,
2018) -
Combined operatives of Zamboanga Del Sur Drugs Enforcement Unit, PDEA and
Margosatubig MPS arrested one person involved illegal drugs during the conduct
of anti-illegal drug buy bust operation at Purok Sun flower, Sitio Luguimit,
Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 PM on June 30, 2018.
Police
identified the arrested person as Bruce Lee Hadjigapor Y Bogol (Not included on
DI Watch list), male, 27 years old, market laborer by occupation, elementary
graduate and resident of Purok Sunflower, Sitio Luguimit, Poblacion, Margosatubig.
Confiscated
from his possession and control are the following:
One
piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline
substance believed to be shabu as buy bust item;
Four
pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline
substance believed to be shabu in his possession and cash money amounting to
(Php500.00), bearing serial number XS243143 as buy bust money.
Subject
person is now temporary detained at Margosatubig MPS, while appropriate case
for violation of Sec. 5 and 11 of RA 9165 is now being prepared for filing in
court.
Arrested in Search Warrant at Labangan
LABANGAN, Zamboanga del Sur (July 1, 2018) – The joint PNP
personnel of CIDG-Zamboanga Del Sur, Provincial Mobile Force Company and
Labangan MPS conducted police operation (Service of Search Warrant on June 30,
2018 at about 3:00pm in Barangay Combo, Labangan municipality of this province.
The
operating troops conducted a Search the residence owned by the suspect
identified as Badria Kiram Y Mamasalagat at Purok Talipapa, Barangay Combo,
Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
The
SW No. 50-2K18 was issued by Hon. Dennis P. Vicoy, Executive Judge, RTC, 9th
Judicial Region, Multi-Sala Station, Pagadian City for violation of R.A. 10591
“An act providing for a Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition”.
The
operation resulted to the seizure of the following items:
One
unit M16 Armalite Rifle with deface serial number,
Two
pieces long magazine for Caliber 5.56,
Nine
pieces short magazine for caliber 5.56,
One
Hundred Ninety rounds of live ammunition for caliber 5.56 and
One
bandolier.
Subject
person of the Search Warrant was at large during the operation. However, the
searching officer together with the two witnesses Barangay Officials of
Barangay Combo, Labangan of this Province found and seized mentioned items
inside the room as described in the Search Warrant.
Confiscated
items are now in the custody of Criminal Investigation and Detection
Group-Zamboanga del Sur (CIDG-ZDS) for proper disposition.
