killed, 1 wounded in Shootout Incident

PABLO, ZamboSur (July 8, 2018) - A
gun fire incident transpired at Barangay Lumbayao, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur at about 4:42 PM of July 06, 2018 wherein a certain Marciano
Vin Anter Alias “Dodo Buta”, 48 years old, married and a resident of Barangay
Lumbayao, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur, allegedly fired his Caliber 45 pistol.
Upon receipt of the report, PNP
personnel of San Pablo MPS immediately proceeded to the reported place of
incident to verify the veracity of the report.
Upon arrival thereat, responding PNP
elements saw alias Dodo Bota was armed with a handgun suddenly shot the
responding PNP personnel that prompted to retaliate and thereby shootout
ensued.
As a result, Dodo Bota was hit by the
responding PNP team and immediately was brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical
Center, Pagadian City for immediate medication but at about 8:58pm of same
date, he was pronounced dead by the attending physician.
Confiscated from the possession of the
suspect is one unit caliber 45 pistol, COLT MK IV bearing SN 926315 with one
magazine loaded with four bullets.
Wanted Person Cuffed
PITOGO,
Zamboanga del Sur (July 7, 2018) - PNP
elements of Pitogo MPS conducted police operation (Service of Warrant of
Arrest) at Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur at about 1:30 in the
afternoon of July 5 28, 2018.
The operation was resulted to the arrest
of Alberto Guinandal Y Donjog, 50 years old, married, fisherman, a resident in
Poblacion, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur.
He was charged for the crime of
Unauthorized Fishing docketed under criminal case number 18-2284-P under the
Sala of Hon. Jhonabel J. Tabunda, Presiding Judge of 7th Municipal Circuit
Trial Court, (Dimataling-Tabina-Pitogo), Dimataing, Zamboanga del Sur. Bail for
his temporary liberty is fixed at Six Thousand (6,000.00) Pesos.
The accused now temporary detained at
Pitogo MPS detention cell awating for final adjudication from the court.
