Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - Shooting
incident transpired at Purok 10, Barangay Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del
Sur at about 11:10 AM,
February 02, 2019.
PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9
Regional Director identified the two victims as:
Hamdi Tiblan Y Salud, 33 years old,
married, seaweed farmer, one (1) Kamarudin Andi Y Andi, 24 years old, married,
and
Nasrodin Andi Y Edang, 20 years old,
single, seaweed farmer, all residents of Sitio Tuka, Barangay Poblacion,
Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur.
Investigation conducted disclosed that
around 11:00 AM of same date, above-mentioned victims were onboard single MC
Honda CB 110, color black traversing from Lapuyan Municipality going to their
respective places of residence of said place.
Upon reaching at Purok 10, Barangay
Poblacion, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur two (2) an unidentified male persons
onboard single MC Honda XRM, color red which was running in an opposite
direction with the victims, suddenly the back rider of suspects allegedly shot the
victims once using M16 rifle.
As a result, the single MC driven by
the victims crashed down and victims ran on foot while the suspect keep on
following them and attempted to fire them but the firearm malfunctioned.
PNP personnel of Dimataling MPS conducted
hot pursuit operation and thorough investigation to possibly identify, locate
and arrest the fleeing suspects.
Evidences recovered from the crime
scene are five (5) pieces live ammunitions of M16 rifle and now under the
custody of Dimataling MPS.

Pagadian
City, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - PNP
personnel of Pagadian City Police Station/ Deputized Agent of DENR, together
with Provincial Mobile Force Company (ZSPMFC) conducted checkpoint operation at
National Highway of Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur on
February 2, 2019 at about 11:30 AM.

Regional Director said that the operation resulted to the arrest of
suspect/driver one (1) Heracleo Arambala Bucog, 59 years old, male, married, and
resident of Purok Alta Tierra, Barangay Napolan, Pagadian City, and
seizure/confiscation of one (1) unit Isuzu Mini-Dump Truck, color blue, bearing
plate number 090104, registered under the name of Rey Codilla, loaded with
aggregates without pertinent documents.
Subject person is now temporarily
detained at Pagadian CPS detention cell, while appropriate case for violation
of RA 7942 (Theft of Minerals) is now being prepared for filing in court.
Subject vehicle/dump truck with
aggregates was turned over to DENR Balintawak for proper disposition.

TAMBULIG,
Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - Personnel
of Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO) led by Mr.
Jurist Jose Jr. M Abanil, Menro Officer of Tambulig Municipality, together with
personnel of Tambulig MPS led by PCI Ycer Noah S Aniversario, Officer
In-Charge, conducted police operation against illegal quarrying at Barangay
Calolot and Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur on February 2, 2019
at about 9:00 AM.

Regional Director said that the operation was resulted to the arrest of the two
suspects identified as:
Renan S Tamot, 27 years old, married,
and resident of Barangay Calolot, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur and
Randy P Abraham, 29 years old, married,
and resident of Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur who were caught
in the act of illegally quarrying at said place and resulted also to the
seizure/confiscation of extracted grit/sand.
The arrested persons together with the
confiscated grit were turned-over to Tambulig MENRO for proper disposition of
the case.
Mauling
Incident
PAGADIAN
CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) -
Mauling incident transpired at Aurilio Oceña Boarding House, located at Purok
Nangka, Tuburan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about: 11:50 PM of
February 1, 2019.

Regional Director identified the victim as Precious May Armada, 20 years old,
female, single, student, a resident of Purok Makugihon, Santo Niño, Tukuran,
Zamboanga del Sur.
Suspect was arrested and identified as
Alhari Dumpa Macabago, 20 years old, male, single, student and a resident of
Purok 13, Poblacion Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Investigation conducted disclosed that
the victim went to the Aurilio Oceña Boarding House, located at Purok Nangka,
Tuburan, Pagadian City to comply the request of Alhari Macabago to be there
purposely to talk him and with his girlfriend Laina Cuevas (ex-girlfriend of
the victim who is currently girlfriend of the suspect).
That at the said boarding house the
victim went immediately inside the room of Laina. Thereat, she saw Alhari the
suspect of this case with Laina inside the room.
Then the suspect locked the door
immediately and without any apparent reason using his superior strength as a
man punched the victim’s head several times.
After the incident the suspect was
successfully arrested by the responding Police Officers and brought to Pagadian
City Police Station for proper disposition.
The victim already obtained her medical
examination result issued to her by the attending Physician at Zamboanga Del
Sur Medical Center indicated with the healing period of 5-7 days.

TAMBULIG,
Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - On
February 01, 2019 at about 8:30 PM, One person was died in stabbing incident
transpired Purok Cardava, Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Regional Director identified the victim as Jundel Dadul Banquil, 32 years old,
resident of Purok Cardava, Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.
He was stabbed by Carlito Esconde
Estender, legal age, farmer, a resident of the same barangay.
The victim sustained stabbed wound in
his right chest and immediately brought to the nearest hospital but declared
dead on arrival by the physician (Dr. Roy Macamay).
Suspect was arrested by the responding
PNP elements of Tambulig MPS and now under custody of Tambulig MPS for proper
disposition.
Fisherman
Held for Murder Charges
DUMALINAO,
Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - On
February 01, 2019 at about 4:15 AM, PNP Personnel of Dumalinao MPS and
Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company (ZDSPMFC) conducted joint
police operation on wanted person at Purok Lapu-lapu, Barangay White Beach,
Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.
The operation was resulted to the
arrest of Roland Dalinding, 34 y/o, married, fisherman and a resident of Purok
Centro, Barangay Metokong, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur by virtue of warrant of
arrest under Criminal Case Number 11377-2k13 for the crime of Murder issued by
Presiding Judge Dennis P. Vicoy of Branch 21, Regional Trial Court 9th Judicial
Region, Pagadian City with no bail recommended.
The arrested person is now under the
custody of Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.
Shooting
Incident
MAHAYAG,
Zamboanga del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) -
Shooting incident transpired Purok 1, Barangay Daniel C. Mantos, Mahayag,
Zamboanga del Sur.
The victim identified as Bonifacio
Geniares Imfiel, 36 years old, with live-in partner, jobless, a resident of
Purok Mangga, Barangay Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur, he was shot by
unidentified suspect.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that victim was riding his single motorcycle XRM 125 color
black/white combination coming from Barangay Lantawan, Sominot, Zamboanga del
Sur heading to Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.
Upon reaching at the aforesaid place of
incident, two unidentified male personalities on board of unknown type of
single motorcycle followed him from behind, then and there deliberately shot
the victim several times with the used of caliber .45 pistol based on the
recovered empty shells at the crime scene.
Victim sustained multiple gunshot
wounds in the different parts of his body and was immediately brought to Salug
Valley Medical Center, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur for his immediate medical
attention.
However, the attending physician
referred the said victim to MHARS Medical Center at Ozamis City, Misamis
Occidental for further medical treatment.
The suspects fled immediately heading
to Barangay San Jose, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur.
PNP elements of Mahayag MPS conducted
pursuit and manhunt operations against the fleeing suspects but yielded
negative result.
Recovered from the crime scene were (2)
empty shells of caliber .45 pistol and to be submitted to Provincial Crime
Laboratory Office for ballistic examination.
The single motorcycle of the victim is
now under the custody of Mahayag MPS for proper disposition. Motive of the
incident is yet to be determined.
More
than 100 houses razed by Fire Incident
Pagadian
City (Feb. 4, 2019) – More than 100 houses were razed by
Fire incident transpired at Purok Bakhaw B, Barangay Kawit, Pagadian City,
Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 AM of February 03, 2019.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that fire originated from the house owned by Certain Neneng Dupio
wherein accordingly the latter cook a fried banana where she left the frying
pan unattended with boiling oil.
As the pan burst into fire it engulfed
the house made of light materials. The fire spread to the neighboring houses.
Upon arrival by the responding Bureau
of Fire Personnel, the above-mentioned house was already raze to the ground
scattered to the adjacent houses that resulted to the burning of more or less
One Hundred (100) household owners/residents (fire victims) as the area was of
informal settlers.
PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police
Station facilitated the traffic direction and control and prevented possible
looters while the personnel of Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) extinguished the
fire and process the crime scene.
The BFP declared the fire control at
about 10:30 in the morning and fire out at about 12:03 in the afternoon of same
date.
The bureau is now conducting in-depth
investigation regarding the incident while estimated total damage cost is more
or less of One Million Pesos (₱1,000,000.00) with no persons physically
injured.
Officials of the Barangay Kawit are now
consolidating the number of families affected.
Dead
Body Found
TUKURAN,
Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - A
dead body was found along the riverbank of Purok 4, Brgy Navalan, Tukuran,
Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 AM of February 3, 2019.
Upon receipt of the report PNP
personnel of Tukuran MPS immediately proceeded to the area.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that at about 9:30 o’clock in the morning February 3, 2019, a tanod
of Brgy. Navalan, Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur found a dead body of the
above-mentioned place, and was identified later as Victor Miñoza, of legal age,
a rice duck caretaker, with live-in partner and a resident of Brgy., Buloran,
Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur who sustained 3 fatal wounds allegedly through the
use of firearm.
Man
Held in Aurora for Violation of R.A 10591 and Violation of Omnibus Election
Code on COMELEC Gun Ban
AURORA,
Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - PNP
team of Aurora MPS conducted mobile roving patrol at Purok Dongallo Barangay
Kahayagan West, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about, 3:00 o’clock in the morning
of February 3, 2019.
During the mobile patrol, One Rhea
Sheen Arvelo y Baldicantos a resident of Purok Baldicantos, Barangay Kahayagan
West, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur personally informed the PNP team that there was
a riot transpired at National Hi-way, Purok Dongallo, Barangay Kahayagan West,
Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed, that at about 2:55 AM of same date, the suspect identified as one
Reyuel Vercede y Entero, 44 years old, single, farmer by occupation, a resident
of Purok Dongallo, Barangay Kahayagan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur, which under
the influence of intoxicating liquor having an argument with the some bystander
who attending the disco party in celebration of Araw ng Kahayagan 2019 of the
said barangay.
That during confrontation, between the
suspect and the responding police officer, the suspect eludes the arrest and
run. PNP elements of Aurora MPS able to chased and arrested the suspect.
Confiscated from his possession and
control fro the suspect one (1) pistol caliber 357, Smith and Wesson revolver
without serial number, and loaded with six (6) rounds of live ammunition.
The arrested suspect is now under
custody of Aurora MPS for proper disposition.
