in Pagadian Shooting Incident, Suspect arrested
PAGADIAN
CITY – Two hurt while one suspect arrested Shooting
incident transpired at corner Duterte Street - Jamisola Street, Purok Adelfa,
Barangay Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City and Sta. Lucia, Barangay Hall, Dablo Street,
Pagadian City
at about 11:10 PM of April 30, 2019.

Licup, PRO9 Director identified the victims as Willa Compra Y Yamuta, 27 years
old, female, single, self-employed, a resident of Purok Lawis, Barangay Sta.
Lucia, Pagadian City and Zacaria Hasim Y Panianggo, 44 years old, male,
married, tricycle driver, a resident of Purok Makabibihag II, Barangay Sta.
Lucia, Pagadian City.
Suspects were more or less ten (10)
male persons wearing mask onboard two (2) black and white Toyota pick-up trucks
and one identified as Jonard Genolos Y Villegas, 36 years old, married,
painter, and a resident of Purok Spring, Barangay Sta Lucia, Pagadian City.
Investigation disclosed that the
Barangay Tanods of Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City led by Barangay Chairman Bonifacio
O Boron Jr, conducted nightly patrol onboard their personal single motorcycle
and upon reaching at the aforementioned place of incident, two (2) black and
white Toyota pick-up trucks suddenly stopped from behind and there from armed
male persons alighted and allegedly the person of Jonard Genolos Y Villegas
prepositioned along Duterte Street, acted as guide to the armed men towards the
Barangay Tanods.
Thereupon, without any words, armed men
simultaneously open fired towards Barangay Chairman Boron and Barangay Tanods
who scampered to different directions.
As a result, victim identified as
Willam Compra Y Yamuta was hit by a stray bullet on her left lower thigh along
Purok Lawis, Barangay Sta. Lucia. He was brought to Aisah Medical Center, while
the other victim identified as Zacaria Hasim Y Panianggo was hit on his left
lower thigh inside Sta. Lucia Barangay Hall and was brought to Pagadian Medical
Center.
SOCO team conducted scene of the crime
operation and recovered twenty (20) fired cartridge cases of unknown caliber.
Responding SWAT of Pagadian City Police
Station arrested one of the suspects who aided the armed men that acted as
spotter at the nearby restaurant of the incident area and was held in protective
custody of Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

Zamboanga del Sur - Hacking incident occurred at Purok
Borbon, Barangay Kapatagan, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga del Sur at around 8:30
PM, April 30, 2019.

Licup, PRO9 Director identified the victim as Nelson Armero Y Casas, 47 years
old, married, farmer, and a resident of aforesaid place.
He was hacked by suspect identified as certain
Emmanuel Cardino, 63 years old, married, farmer, and a resident of same place.
Investigation disclosed that prior to
the incident, victim and suspect were engaged in a heated argument while on
their way home from Barangay Kapatagan of said municipality, when suddenly the
suspect drew his bolo and hacked the victim several times hitting at his left
hand and right leg. Immediately thereafter, victim reported the incident to
Vencinsu Sagun MPS and same was brought to Vincenzo Sagun Rural Health Center
for immediate medical treatment.
PNP personnel of Vencinsu Sagun MPS conducted
hot pursuit operation that resulted to the arrest of suspect at the house of
their neighbor identified as certain Herenia Gilig.
The suspect is now temporarily detained
at Vencinsu Sagun MPS, while appropriate charge is now being prepared for
filing in court.

Arrested by Barangay Officials for COMELEC Gun Ban Violation
JOSIFINA,
Zamboanga del Sur - On April 30, 2019 at about 7:55 PM, the
person of Necasio Obuga Israel Sr, 63 years old, married, Barangay Kagawad of
Leonardo, Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur together with
Romarico Banac Cabayag, 37 years old,
married, and
Wilfredo Magadan Mahinay, 49 years old,
married, both Barangay Kagawad of Lower Bag-ong Tudela, Josefina, Zamboanga del
Sur appeared at Josefina MPS and turned-over the living body of Lito Urbano
Selim, 30 years old, with live-in partner, farmer, and resident of Barangay
Lower Bag-ong Tudela, Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur.
Subject person was arrested thru
citizen’s arrest for violation of Illegal Possession of Firearm in relation to
COMELEC Gun ban, and confiscated from his possession and control one (1) Unit
caliber .45 pistol, 1911 Norinco, loaded with four (4) live ammunitions.
Investigation disclosed that prior to
the incident, the suspect was walking along the road of Purok 1, Brgy. Lower
Bag-ong Tudela, Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur believed to be under the influence
of liquor.
While suspect’s walking at said place,
Hon. Necasio Israel Sr, happened to be riding his motorcycle offered the suspect
for a ride going to his house and upon reaching at Purok 2, Brgy. Lower Bag-ong
Tudela, Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur particularly in front of the house of Hon.
Romarico Cabayag, suddenly the suspect jumped causing the motorcycle to swerved
and fell down on the ground.
When suspect’s stood up, his gun/pistol
from his waist fell down into the road, prompting Barangay Kagawad Necasio
Israel to grab the pistol from the suspect to avoid possible incident, but
suspect resisted/struggled.
While on the course of their commotion,
Kagawad Cabayag and Kagawad Mahinay, pacified the suspect and were able to get
the pistol from the possession of the suspect.
Subject person together with the
confiscated firearm were brought to Josefina MPS for proper disposition of the
case. Appropriate charges are being prepared for filing in court.

TABINA,
Zamboanga del Sur - Shooting incident took place at Purok
Waling-Waling, Barangay New Oroquieta, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur at about 12:15
AM, April 30, 2019.

Licup, PRO9 Director identified the victim as Marcelo Gonzaga Masayon, 58 years
old, married, farmer, and a resident of afore said place.
He was shot several times by five suspects
identified as
Robert Maco a.k.a. Berting;
Salvino Pastoriza a.k.a. Eugene;
Jonel Mamentas;
Roberto Almazon a.k.a RoyRoy; and
Rupierto Isanan.
Investigation disclosed that prior to
the incident, said victim along with his family were sleeping inside their
house of said place when shot several times by the above-mentioned suspects.
Luckily, no one was hurt during the incident.
Evidence recovered from the crime scene
are two (2) fired cartridge cases of caliber 7.62 and one (1) live ammunition
of same caliber.
PNP personnel of Tabina MPS conducted
thorough investigation and follow up operation to possibly locate and arrest
the fleeing suspects.
Appropriate charges are being prepared
for filing in court against the suspects.

V.
SAGUN, Zamboanga del Sur - Stabbing incident
transpired at Purok Dagaya, Barangay Lunib, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga del Sur at about 10:30 PM of May 1, 2019.

Licup, PRO9 Director identified the victim as Antonio Cabatuan Y Monong, 79
years old, widow, and a resident of same place. He was stabbed by his own son
In-law identified as Christino Tardo, 60 years old, married farmer and a
resident of same place.
Investigation disclosed that victim was
coming to the house of the suspect asking food for dinner but suspect believe
to be under the influence of liquor got angry that their conversation, turn
into a heated argumentation.
The then victim(Antonio) was able to
pick a hunting knife from their kitchen then stabbed the suspect(Christino) but
he was able to evade and grab the hunting knife and then stabbed the
victim(Antonio) in several times hitting in to the different parts of his body,
until his nephew arrived and was able to pacify the commotion.
The victim (Antonio) was brought to
Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect is now
in custody of Vincenzo Sagun MPS for proper disposition.
