REPORTED INCIDENTS –January 20-21, 2015

PRESS RELEASE
1 Hurt in Pagadian Stabbing
Pagadian City – Stabbing Incident occurred in Barangay Sto. Nino, at around 8:13 P.M. of January 20, 2015. The victim was identified as Christopher Ediang, of legal age, married, carpenter and a resident of said place. Investigation disclosed that the victim was inside his house together with his relatives celebrating the birthday of his mother when suddenly stabbed by his brother identified as a certain Ronald Millabe Y Ediang, 25 years old, also a carpenter, hitting his left arm. Prior the incident, both victim and suspect were having a drinking session and heated argument occurred between them prompting the suspect to stabbed the victim. The suspect immediately left the crime scene going towards unknown direction after the incident while victim was immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center for treatment. The Pagadian City Police Station is now preparing appropriate criminal complaint against the suspect for filing in court.

Man loses his MC in Pagadian City
Pagadian City – A 17-year old man         spot while driving his red/black rusi 100 single mc bearing temp plate number 092021 with engine number rf150fmg-gy505327 and chassis nr rftxcgl04gy505327, and traversing along Bonifacio St, Barangay Santiago at around 12:45 in the morning of January 20, 2015, and upon reaching corner Pulmones St, he accidentally collided to a unidentified black/white single MC and after the said incident, the back rider of the said unidentified single mc wearing black jacket approached him and ordered him to hand over his mc key. Suspect then drove away to unknown direction.

Merchandise Robbed in Pagadian City
Pagadian City - A robbery/ hold-up incident occurred at about 7:00 in the evening of January 21, 2015, wherein RDM general merchandise located at Duterte St. Barangay Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City, owned by one Ricky Mapait Y Dalinding, 37, married, was robbed by three (3) unidentified suspects. Investigation conducted disclosed that while the owner was inside his merchandise located at the abovementioned place, three (3) unidentified male suspects suddenly came to his presence. They drew theirs guns and pointed it to him and to the people inside the said establishment and declared hold- up. One of the suspects was wearing a black bull cap and black jacket armed with caliber 45 pistols. He was the one who gunpoint to the owner. The other suspect was wearing a white jacket and also armed with caliber 45 while the other suspect (driver) wearing red t-shirt and also armed with caliber 38 revolver. The three (3) suspects hurriedly left the said merchandise after taking the twelve thousand pesos cash (P 12,000.00), one (1) passport, one (1) checked book of Asian United Bank, one (1) PNB ATM card, one(1) metro bank card, one(1) unit Alcatel Cellphone worth of four thousand pesos (P4,000.00), one(1) unit Samsung cellphone worth of three thousand pesos (P 3,000.00), one (1) unit Natasha cellphone worth of one thousand six hundred pesos (php1,600.00) with load airtime of one thousand one hundred (php1,100.00). They carted away the total amount of twenty one thousand seven hundred pesos (php21, 700.00) and fled to unknown direction on board a black and white Honda XRM single MC. The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting thorough investigation to possibly identify the perpetrators.

Balot Vendor Shot Dead in Pagadian City
Pagadian City – Shooting incident took place in- front of Pagadian City Medical Center in Barangay San Francisco at around 11:25 in the evening of January 21, 2015. The victim was a male balot vendor with 5’5’’ in height, slim build, wearing yellow shirt and red pants. He was shot to death by unidentified perpetrators at the aforementioned place. Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was sitting near the generator machine of the mentioned hospital when suddenly shot twice by a suspects on boarding a black single Honda XRM MC with the used of .45 Cal pistol based on the two (2) spent shell recovered at the crime scene. The victim was hit at his abdomen and head which causes his instantaneous death. Suspects immediately sped up negotiating Cabrera St and then disappeared towards unknown direction after the incident. The motive of the incident is still to be determined by the responding operatives of Pagadian City Police Station.

Jobless Nabbed for Raping a Coed in Tukuran
Zamboanga Del Sur – A jobless man was arrested by operatives of Tukuran Police Station after he accused of allegedly attempted to rape a 28-year old college student inside their residence in Barangay Sto. Niño, Tukuran at around 1:30 in the morning of January 21, 2015. Arrested was Wilson Carcueva Y Sandoval, 27 years old, single, jobless and also resident of said place.  Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was soundly sleeping inside her bedroom situated at the above mentioned place when she was awaken by suspect who already on top of her body wearing only brief. Prompting the victim to pushed the suspect away from her. The victim’s cousin who was living adjacent to the victim’s house was informed about the incident. He responded and accosted the suspect who was still inside the house sitting beside the victim armed with stainless knife with broken handle and a stolen one (1) unit cellphone Nokia color green owned by the victim. Responding operatives of said police station later handcuffed the suspect. He is now detained at said police station while appropriate case is being prepared for filing in court.

Cadaver Found Floating in Margosatubog
Zamboanga Del Sur - A female cadaver was found along the sea shore of Purok Gumamela, Barangay Igat, Margos at around 7:00 in the morning of January 21, 2015. A certain Alberto Bustamante a resident of the above mentioned place discovered the said unidentified female victim lying lifeless at the sea shore whose age is estimated to 65 to 70 years old with more or less five feet in height, long hair, wearing maong pants, red jacket and strife t shirt color violet and grey. The victim believed to be drowning at the sea that causes her death since no injury found on the body of the victim. She was later identified Helaria Combestra, native of Dinas. Accordingly, she walks away from Margosatubig Regional Hospital while being a watcher of his husband. Since then, she was nowhere to be found and accordingly, she was so depressed because his husband was being confined at the hospital.
