Dead Body Found in Tambulig

An unidentified male dead body was found at the NIA irrigation canal located at Purok 1, Barangay Kapalaran, Tambulig, Zamboanga City at about 9:00 AM of May 17, 2015. Investigation conducted disclosed that said floating male dead  body was discovered by some concerned citizen of the above-mentioned place and  described as 45 to 50 years old, wearing olive green t-shirt; and maong short pants with no identification (ID) card recovered from the dead body of the victim. 

Motor Vehicular Accident in Mahayag

Motor vehicular accident occurred at about 1:50 PM of May 17, 2015 at the National Highway of Purok 8, Barangay Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur, wherein a SMC XRM 125 color black with plate number KE 5743, driven by William Cenal Y Dolormente, was accidentally hit by another Honda XRM 125 color red and white combination with plate number JQ 5981, driven by Dexter Tupas Y Bacoya, 20 years of age, with no driver’s license. Investigation conducted disclosed that the said motorcycle XRM 125 color black was travelling at the aforesaid highway, however, upon reaching at the aforesaid place and upon making his left turn accidentally hit and bumped by the tailing Honda 125 color red and white combination. Both vehicles incurred damage and the driver of the black XRM incurred physical injuries on the different parts of his body.

SHOOTING INCIDENT IN R. MAGSAYSAY

On or about 05:30 in the morning of May 19, 2015 at Purok 4, Barangay Bobongan, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as one Nathaniel Hisona Y Rodriguez, 41 years old, male, married, fish vendor, with postal address of Purok 2, Barangay Sinaguing, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot to death by unidentified suspect. initial investigation conducted by the responding PNP elements of Ramon Magsaysay Municipal Police Station disclosed that the victim was traversing from his residence going to Pagadian City Fish Port on board on his single Kawasaki Barako 175 without plate no. and upon reaching at the vicinity of Purok 4, Barangay Bobongan, Ramona Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot several times by unidentified suspects wearing black jacket on board a Honda XRM, color black with no plate attached. Victim sustained several gunshot wounds on his head and other parts of his body which resulted to his instantaneous death. Suspects immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident. victim’s dead body now brought to Valley Of Angels Funeral Homes (Arapoc), Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. recovered from the crime scene were five (5) empty cartridge cases of caliber .45 and one (1) deformed slug. CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL GAMBLING IN MOLAVE

On or about 8:00o’clock in the evening of May 19, 2015,PNP elements of Molave Municipal Police Station led by PInspArmelManiwang Torres, DCOP conducted bet-bust operation against suspected illegal numbers “Swertres” game through PCSO Swertres result at Purok Ferry, Miligan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur to the coordinator identified as one Benjamin Indoc Sr. of legal age, married and resident of the same place. The operation started with the betting of illegal numbers game Swertres to the suspect using a civilian asset posed as poseur-bettor in the operation. after the actual betting and turned-over of the bet tally sheet by the poseur-bettor, the PNP elements then rushed to arrest the suspect,however, the latter had able to jump off from the window of the house leaving behind illegal numbers game “Swertres” paraphernalia and bet money and arrested one bettor identified as one Victoriano Rodrigo Divinegrace, 45 years old, married, farmer and resident of PurokMasidlakon,Dipole,Molave,Zamboanga Del Sur. said operation witnessed by the Barangay Chairman Manuel Teves of said place and three (3) Barangay TanodsElpedioGelbolingo,FloroCadungog and Richard Ahencio. inventory was conducted of all paraphernalia and bet money recovered to wit: One Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Eight (Php1,968.00) pesos cash bet money which included the two (2) Twenty (Php20.00) peso bills marked bet money with serial numbers UB181675 and DF638547, five (5S paper guide, one (1) electronic calculator, fifty six (56) filled-up tally sheets,  three (3) ball pens, nineteen (19) blank stubs intended for tallying Swertres numbers, and one (1) filled-up tally sheet. the above-said coordinator had able to run with the mobile cell phone which being used in transmitting numbers/bets to his over-all coordinator or financier.Molave Municipal Police Station is conducting hot pursuit operation against the fleeing illegal numbers' game coordinator.Investigator on case is SPO2 Reynaldo DonaotoHilot with contact number 09109691613.

SHOOTING AND HACKING INCIDENT IN MIDSALIP

On or about 7:30 in the morning of May 19, 2015, one Danny Tapales Y Siangco, Sr., 46 years old, married, a resident of Sitio Tangara, Cabaluran, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur reported to Midsalip Municipal Police Station informing that on or about 6:00 o’clock in the afternoon of May 18, 2015, a shooting and hacking incident transpired in Sitio Tangara, Cabaluran, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. Immediately, PNP elements of Midsalip Municipal Police Station led by SPO3 Allan Corong Palong palong proceeded to the crime scene to conduct ocular investigation. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that victim identified as one Ernesto Monlay Y Tomarong, 35 years old, married, farmer, resident of Sitio, Tangara, Cabaluran, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot to death by certain Renhald Sumabat y Balbuena, 25 years old, married, farmer and also resident of same place with the used of caliber .38 revolver and hacked with the use of a bolo, 16 inches long from tip to handle. Victim sustained gunshot wound on his chest thru and thru and laceration on the back of his neck causing his untimely death. Suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. Midsalip Municipal Police Station is now conducting thorough investigation and hot pursuit operation to possibly locate and arrest the suspect. Investigator on case is PO3 Julie R. ROBBERY INCIDENT IN PAGADIAN CITY

On or about 1:55 in the afternoon of May 19, 2015 at FS Fajares Ave., Corner V. Sagun Street, Pagadain City wherein victim identified as one Motalib Apod Y Ladias, 17 years old, a resident of Purok Darrusalam, Sta Lucia District, Pagadian City was robbed by two (2) unidentified suspects. Immediately, PNP team from Pagadian City Police Station responded to the crime scene to conduct investigation. Initial investigation disclosed that the aforesaid victim was walking along FS Fajares Ave., Corner V. Sagun Street, Pagadain City, two (2) unidentified male individuals mauled him and forcibly took his Samsung duos cellphone and one (1) Seiko 5 wrist watch and subsequently fled towards the back portion of Saint Columban College, Ariosa Extension, Barangay San Francisco District, Pagadian City. Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting follow-up investigation and hot pursuit operation to possibly locate and arrest the suspects. ARRESTED WANTED PERSON IN LABANGAN

On or about 5:45 in the afternoon of May 19, 2015,PNP elements of Labangan Municipal Police Station led by PO3 Julsamie Manuel Balimbingan, Intelligence PNCO conducted manhunt operation against wanted person at Barangay Sto Niño,Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur which resulted to the arrest  of one Elvis Ramos Y Lavalle, 40 years old, male, married, government employee and a resident of Barangay Sto Niño Pagadian City. subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Serious Physical Injuries and Damage To Property with criminal case nr 1561-l, issued by Acting Presiding Judge   Norlinda R. Amante-Descallarat RTC, 9th Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) of Labangan-Tukuran, 9th Judicial Region, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur, issued on April 13, 2015. Recommended bail bond for his temporary liberty fixed at Eight Thousand Pesos (Php8, 000.00). Arrested suspect is now temporary detained at Labangan Municipal Police Station awaiting commitment order from the issuing court for proper disposition.
