RA 8485 Violator Nabbed in Dimataling

A RA 8485 violator was arrested in Barangay Lalab, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 AM of May 28, 2015. Police Inspector Renante B. Benitez, Dimataling Police Chief, identified the arrested man as Rene B Betache, legal age and resident of said place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 8485 (animal welfare act of 1998 as amended by ra 10631), issued by Hon Joel G. Vercide, Acting Presiding Judge, 7th MCTC of Dimataling, Tabina, Pitogo with bail bond recommended fixed at (P 4,000.00) pesos for his temporary liberty. Suspect is now temporarily detained at the said police station awaiting court disposition.

2 Notorious Pusher Busted in Aurora

Two notorious criminals and pushers, listed in the drug watch list of Aurora MPS were arrested during drug buy-bust operation carried out by Aurora Police Station, PDEA and Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) at the vicinity of aurora Mountain Resort located at Barangay Anonang, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 PM of May 27, 2015.  Arrested were April Ray Aranaydo Y Jimenez aka Dodong Gamay, 32, married, jobless and Chona Liza Baranggot Y Paculba aka “Chona”, 32, married, jobless, both residents of Barangay Poblacion, Kapatagan, Lanao Del Norte. Both suspects were arrested after they were able to sold a sachet of shabu to a police officer acted as poseur-buyer together with one police asset in exchange of  ₱1,000.00 bills (two pcs 500 peso bills. Recovered items from the suspects were the above stated mark money, two transparent plastic sachets containing shabu estimated to ₱1,500.00 street value, several stripped and rolled aluminum foils, two straw-like transparent plastic strips and one disposable lighter.  They were brought to Aurora MPS for proper booking and will be charged for violation of RA 9165.

Shooting in Labangan

Shooting incident occurred at about 9:15 PM of May 29, 2015 at Purok Tukuran, Barangay Balimbingan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur particularly at   the residence of Abdul Abusama, Purok President of aforementioned place. Initial investigation disclosed that victim identified as one Radzak Ragui Y Abatao of legal age, resident of Barangay Mulaug, Sultan Kudarat,  Maguindanao.  Said   victim was already asleep   when   unidentified gunman entered the said house unnoticed and   shot the victim several times then suspect fled to unknown direction after the commission of the crime. victim  sustained  two (2) gunshot  wounds at  the back of his  head  and two  gunshot  wounds at  the   back of   his  waistline  that   resulted  to   his   immediate  death. Recovered from   crime  scene were  five (5)  empty  shells  of Cal .45 and  now  in  the custody  of  Labangan MPS for   future  reference.  Labangan MPS is still conducting   further investigation   to determine the motive of said incident and for possible arrest of the suspect.

Robbery in Ramon Magsaysay

Robbery incident occurred at about 7:30 AM of May 29, 2015 in Barangay Swiitch, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim was identified as Jimmy Ometer, 39, and his live in partner identified as Genelyn Sumile Y Pumicpic, 41, both a residents of Barangay Lower Sto Niño, Mahayag. Accordingly, they were traversing from their residence going to said place to pay their mortgage rice field and upon reaching at sitio Palayan, Barangay Esperanza, Ramon Magsaysay allegedly they were robbed by two unidentified suspects wearing bonnet on board alpha single mc Honda wave 100 colors gray with no plate attached. The suspects carted away one hundred sixty two thousand pesos (P 162,000.00) pesos more or less. After the incident, suspects fled heading towards the direction of Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur. The elements of Ramon Magsaysay MPS are now conducting follow -up investigation and hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the suspects.

Fire in Guipos

Fire incident transpired at about 12:30 PM of May 29, 2015 at Purok Uno, Barangay Poblacion, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur, wherein the house made of light materials owned by Betty Mirafuentes of said place was totally razed by fire. The estimated damaged of property more or less eighty thousand pesos (P 80,000.00). The Guipos MPS in coordination with the BFP investigator is still conducting follow-up investigation to determine the cause of fire.
