Guipos MPS Yields Revolver during Search Warrant
Zamboanga Del Sur – Police operatives of Guipos Police
Station led by Police Senior Inspector Usman Julwadi Edding, served the search
warrant number 2015- 1 issued by Hon Judge Pacifico Cimafranca Jr., presiding
judge of 8th MCTC, Dumalinao, against Benedicto Regidor Y Reyes for illegal
possession of firearm at Barangay Poblacion, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur at about
10:20 PM of June 29, 2015. During the operation one unit of Cal 38 revolver
(defaced serial number) with four live ammos were successfully confiscated at
the house owned by the subject person however the later was not around during
the service of said search warrant. The confiscated firearm is now in the
custody of Guipos MPS and will be turnover to issuing court while a case for
illegal possession of firearm is now being prepared for filing in court against
the suspect.

7610 Arrested in Tigbao
Zamboanga Del Sur – An ex-CAFGU member was arrested by
elements of Tigbao MPS in Barangay Upper Nilo, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur at
about 8:30 PM of June 29, 2015. Police Senior Inspector Norbert Ferrer Velonza,
Tigbao Police Chief, identified the arrested as Rodel Yap Y Canete, 28, residing
at Barangay Tigbao, Tigbao. He was arrested based on the charged for the crime
of acts of lasciviousness in relation to R.A 7610 docketed under criminal case no.
11878-2k15, issued by hon. Benjamin R. Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge, RTC-9, Branch
22, Pagadian City with P 60,000 bail recommended. The accused now temporarily
detained at said police station for proper documentation prior turn-over to the
issuing court

3 Most Wanted in Dinas Captured
Zamboanga Del Sur – A farmer listed as the Ranked 3 Top Most
wanted person in Dinas Police Station was arrested in Barangay Kinakap, Dinas
at about 8:15 AM of June 29, 2015. Arrested was identified as Jerry Salon Santander,
43, married, farmer, and resident of abovementioned place. He has standing
warrant of arrest for the crime of murder docketed under criminal case # 08-001
issued by Hon Edilberto G Absin Cmm Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region,
Branch 29, Pagadian City with no bail bond recommended for his temp liberty. He
is now temp detained at the said police station waiting for final adjudication
from the court
