AURORA - Shooting incident transpired in Purok
Millenium, Barangay Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:15 PM of
June 18, 2017wherein the victim identified as Roberto Latonio Ompoy Jr., 19
years old, single, jobless, and resident of Purok Millenium, Barangay
Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot by two (2) unidentified suspects
using a caliber 9mm based on the recovered spent cartridge case at the crime
scene. Investigation disclosed that
prior to the incident; the victim was inside the computer shop owned by a
certain Jade Pascual, playing online games in the said barangay, when the two
(2) suspects wearing masks entered the establishment. One of the suspects
pulled out a handgun and fired four (4) shots at the victim. The victim
sustained gunshot wounds on his left hand, right forearm, nape and right side
of his neck, and was rushed immediately to aurora community emergency hospital
for treatment. He was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician. The
suspects fled immediately to unknown direction after the incident. Personnel of
Aurora MPS are conducting a police operation and thorough investigation to
identify and arrest the suspects.

MPS conducted police operation service of warrant of arrest at Barangay
Balong-Balong, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 AM of June 17, 2017.
This resulted to arrest of seven (7) wanted person namely: (1) Dominador Cabug
Camache Aka “Doming” ,72 years old, married, farmer, (2) Jifford Pacatan
Delatado aka “pipoy”, 21 years old, single, farmer, (3) Felix Sanal Hilamon aka
“dodo”, 28 years old, single, farmer, (4) Maximo Abapo Vale Aka “Momoy”, 46
years old, married, fish vendor, (5) Danilo Arellano Pableo Aka “Dan” 40 years
old, married, fisherman, (6) Elizaldy Arao Pachico Aka “Zaldy”, 33 years old,
married, farmer, and (7) Romeo Cuaresma Joromat aka “Romy”, 51 years old,
married, farmer, all are residents in Barangay Balong-Balong, Pitogo, Zamboanga
Del Sur. by virtue of warrant of arrest for the of arson docketed under cc#
15-135, issued by Hon. Ruben Bance, Presiding Judge Of Ninth Judicial Region,
Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur issued on July 14, 2016. With no bail
recommended. Arrested persons were presently detained at Pitogo MPS for proper
disposition.
