Drowning Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Drowning incident that transpired at Barangay Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:00 PM of May 31, 2017. Pagadian Police Station identified the victim as Nestor Badayos Tumatao, 50 years old; single a resident of Purok Saging, Barangay Datagan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur was discovered floating at the shore of the above-mentioned place. the cadaver was brought to Gamalinda Funeral Homes located at Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur for post mortem examination. Investigator-on-case is Po2 Mizrach Sumampong Lapid with contact number 09106538891.

Report on Theft of Vehicle

LABANGAN - One Lt Col. Freddie E Europa, Philippine Army, 48 years old, married a resident of Barangay Lower Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur reported to Pagadian CPS at about 11:00 AM of June 1, 2017 that his crosswind XTI vehicle, color maroon bearing plate number TYO 825 was lost and believed stolen by unidentified suspect. The vehicle was taken while being parked at Cerilles Street Corner Samson Street, Barangay San Francisco, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation disclosed that while the subject went to nearby store to Xerox his documents, unidentified suspect board his vehicle going to unknown direction. Elements of said police station are still conducting follow-up operation for the possible recovery of the vehicle and arrest of the suspect.

Progress Report on Theft of Vehicle

PAGADIAN CITY - The Pagadian City Police Station on june 1, 2017 at about 1:30 pm, pagadian cps received a cellular phone call from SPO4 Mantuhan informing that a utility vehicle owned by Lt Col Fredie Espresion Europa bearing plate number tyo-825, engine number 4ja1m30095 and chassis number pabtbr54fb2062689 was abandoned at Urro Street, Barangay Santo Niño District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:30 PM of June 1, 2017. Investigation disclosed that the personal belongings of Lt Col Fredie Europa were all intact inside except his cash amounting to eight thousand five hundred (₱8,500.00) was missing. The vehicle was properly turned-over to the owner at around 4:00 PM of the same date after documentation.

Shooting Incident

GUIPOS - Shooting incident transpired at about 11:30 AM of June 1, 2017 at JRK Gas Station owned by Mrs. Elizabeth Elbero Cloma located at Purok 5, Barangay Poblacion, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur. The victim identified as Jupeter Obaog Tuastumban, 23 years old, single, pump boy/casher of the above-mention gasoline station and a resident of Purok 3B, Barangay Poblacion, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was shot by unidentified suspect with the used of caliber .45 pistol based on one (1) fired cartridge case recovered at the crime scene. initial investigation disclosed that while the victim was inside the collection booth of the gas station, unidentified suspect on board Honda XRM motorcycle color yellow with no plate number attached arrived and declared hold-up. The suspect grabbed the sling bag of the victim containing a cash amounted to more or less eight thousand (₱8,000.00) pesos. However, the victim resisted and the unidentified suspect shot him hitting on his left face and exited on the neck and immediately fled towards Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. Guipos MPS is still conducting follow-up operation for the possible identify and arrest of the suspect.

Arrest of Wanted Person

PAGADIAN CITY - Operatives of Pagadian City Police Station arrested the person of Alben Caliso Naranjo, 24 years old, driver by occupation single a resident of Purok Centro, Barangay Poloyagan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at Gate 7, Agora Market, Barangay Santa Lucia District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 PM of June 1, 2017. This is by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Benjamin R Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge Of Branch 22, 9th Judicial Region,  Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur for the crime of rape in relation to ra 7610 docketed under criminal case number 13326-2k17. The arrested person is temporarily detained at said police station waiting for court disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

TAMBULIG - Operatives of Tambulig MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok 3, Barangay Upper Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:20 PM of June 1, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Julie Bonghanoy Sedeño, 28 years old, married a resident of the above-mentioned place. subject person was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of concubinage in relation to RA 9262 docketed under criminal case number 2013-10-2724 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge Of Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zambonga Del Sur Dated December 19, 2013 with recommended bail-bond of eighty thousand (₱80,000.00) pesos for his temporary liberty. Subject wanted person is temporary detained at Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.
