Farmer Held for Frustrated Homicide

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 18, 2018) – The Combined PNP personnel of Molave Police Station, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur and Naawan Police Station, Naawan, Misamis Oriental conducted law enforcement operation at Purok 6, Don Pedro, Naawan, Misamis Oriental at about 10:00 PM of October 16, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Alexander LorioBataluna, 38 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 6, Don Pedro, Naawan, Misamis Oriental,

The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed under Criminal Case# 2011-10-2416 for Frustrated Homicide issued by presiding judge Hon. Jaime B. Caberte of RTC branch 23, Molave, ZamboangaDel Sur with bail bond recommended fixed at PHP 24,000.00 for his temporary liberty.

The said accused was temporarily detained at Molave MPS for proper disposition.

1 person killed in Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 15, 2018) – One person was killed in Shooting incident transpired Beton’s sari-sari store, Purok 6, Barangay Manga, Pagadian City at about 11:00pm of October 14, 2018. 

PNP Personnel of Pagadian City conducted initial investigation revealed that the victim was identified as Alberto Binting y Patak, 41 years old, with live-in partner carpenter and a resident of Barangay Manga, Pagadian City. The victim sustains one gunshot wound at the forehead that resulted to his death.

Investigation is now conducted by Pagadian CPS for possible identification of the suspect and the motive of incident.

1 killed in Stabbing Incident

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 14, 2018) – One person was killed in Stabbing incident transpired at Vivian Kiap residence, Purok Madanihon, Bulatok, Pagadian City at about 8:45am of October 13, 2018.

The victim was identified as Jarmin Aplasin, employee of mister donut, 30 years old, male, Filipino, single and presently rented at Vivian Kiap residence of Purok Madanihon, Bulatok, Pagadian City.

The Suspect identified as Khomenie Rasuman of legal age, male, Filipino, married and a resident of Purok Madanihon, Bulatok, Pagadian City.

Investigation conducted disclosed that at about 8:40 AM of same date victim went outside of his rented house particularly at the front to take a bath.

When the suspect who already in position and blockaded the victim with a kitchen knife there and then stabbed the victim several times at different parts of the victim’s body that resulted to the instantaneous death of the victim. The duty physician of City Health Office arrived to examine the victim.

Victim sustained eight stabbed wounds at different parts of his body. Recovered from the crime scene are Thirteen inches kitchen knife including handle which was used by the suspect. Possible motive of the incident believes to be personal grudge.

2 Arrested in Margosatubig for Illegal Possession of FAs

MARGOSATUBIG, Zamboanga del Sur (Octr. 15, 2018) – The PNP elements of Margosatubig MPS arrested two persons identified as>

Jhonny Oporto y Armateo, 27 years old, single, farmer and

Renario Graciano y Saladaga, 33 years old, single, farmer and both residents of Purok Ube, Brgy. Tulapok, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur on October 14, 2018 at about 10:30pm,

Both suspects were displaying short firearms tucked on their waist at videoke bar situated at Purok Ube of same place.

Recovered from the possession and control of Jhonny Oporto y Armateo were one cal. 45 pistol (Springfield Armory) with serial no. 728153 and one magazine loaded with six live ammos and from the possession and control of Renario Graciano were one Cal. 45 Pistol (Remington) with serial no. 316375 and one magazine loaded with live ammunitions.

The two arrested persons failed to present legal authority to carry and possess such firearms.

Both subject persons are now placed under the custody of Margosatubig Police station for further investigation and for proper disposition.

Vehicular Accident    

MIDSALIP, Zamboanga del Sur ((Oct. 16, 2018) - Vehicular accident that transpired at Purok 2, Brgy Guma, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:30pm of October 15, 2018.

PNP personnel of Midsalip MPS immediately proceeded to the area to verify the veracity of the report and upon arrival saw one single MC Honda Wave 110 (MC 1), color black without plate number and registration driven by Alejandro Moral Bienes, 20 years old, single, Habal-habal driver with student permit, resident of Purok Militar, Poblacion A, Midsalip, and one Honda XRM 125 (MC 2), color black with plate no.8838 JG, driven by Paquito Pacheco Jr y Carbonel, 40 years, married, resident of Purok 3 Bacahan Midsalip, crashed to the ground.

Initial investigation disclosed that single MC1 while travelling along the said highway going towards Sominot, accidentally sideswiped the victim Edgardo Celestial y Bonggol, 47 years old, farmer and resident of Purok 3, Brgy Bibilop, Midsalip, and seconds later sideswiped again by MC2, while walking along the side of the road.

Immediately after the accident, the victim was rushed to Midsalip Infirmary Hospital for medical treatment but was declared by the attending physician Dead on Arrival due to multiple injuries.

Further, the two single MC and both drivers were brought Midsalip MPS for proper disposition.

Farmer Arrested for Frustrated Homicide

DIMATALING, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 16, 2018) - PNP personnel of 903rd and 902ndManeuvering Company of RMFB9, Provincial Intelligence Branch of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO, Dimataling MPS and Molave MPS conducted Manhunt “Charlie” at PurokMaliwanag 2, BrgyParasan, Molave, Zamboangadel Surat about 3:00 PM of October 15, 2018.

The operation was led to the arrest of CristitoOpiar Y Sibay, 55 years old, married, farmer and resident of above mentioned place.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Judge EdilbertoAbsin, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur dated June 23, 2008 for the crime of Frustrated Murder docketed under Criminal Case # 08-043 with recommended bail bond in the amount of two hundred thousand (Php200,000.00) pesos.

Subject arrested personnow temporarily detained at Molave MPSfor booking procedure prior proper turned over to the issuing authority.

Man Arrested for the Crime of Unauthorized Commercial Fishing

TABINA, Zamboanga del Sir (Oct. 16, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Tabina MPS conducted police operation at PurokParan, Barangay Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur at about 9:00 AM of October 15, 2018.

Arrested was Ronald Puno y Ucong, 35 years old, male, fisherman and a resident of above mentioned place.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by  presiding judge of 7th MCTC of Dimataling, Tabina and Pitogo docketed under Criminal Case # number 18-2293-T for the Crime of Unauthorized Commercial Fishing with bail bond of four thousand pesos (Php4,000.00).

Upon the arrest of the suspect, he was informed of his Constitutional Rights as embodied under the Philippine Constitution and was immediately brought by the arresting officers to Tabina MPS for booking and documentation. 

The suspect is now temporarily detained at Tabina MPS  locked-up cell while applying for his temporary liberty thru payment of his bail bond amounting to four thousand pesos (Php4,000.00) at 7th MCTC (Dimataling, Tabina and Pitogo).
