1 dead in Shooting Incident

SAN PABLO, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 1, 2018) – One person was killed in Shooting incident transpired at Purok Alleo, Kapamanok, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:00 PM of September 29, 2018.

The victim was identified as Jojie Olivar y Arado, 39 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok Nangka, Brgy. Upper Pantad, San Pablo. He was shot to death by unidentified person using 45 caliber pistol based one spent shells found on the crime scene.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds on the back portion of his head through and through. Right after the incident, the perpetrator withdrawn to the western part of Kapamanok, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur.

PNP personnel of San Pablo MPS is now conducting hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the perpetrator.

Motive of the incident is still to be determined. Investigator is P03 Geovani P. Castillo/09997161453.

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY ( Oct. 1, 2018) - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Madanihon, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City at about 11:55 PM of September 29, 2018 particularly located at the corner on the exit part of Integrated Bus Terminal.

PNP elements of Pagadian CPS proceeded to the reported area to conduct investigation and immediately request the SOCO Team based at Camp Abelon, Brgy. Lumbia, Pagadian City to process the crime scene. 

Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as one Marlon Bacalso y Pacyao, 31 years old, male, married, tricycle driver, a resident of Purok Rizal, Barangay Sto. Niño, Pagadian City was shot to death by the unidentified motorcycle riding male suspects.

Accordingly, the victim while parked his tricycle on the above-mentioned place when a two suspects suddenly appeared riding Red XRM without cover and plate number and without any apparent reason shoot the victim several times hitting on the different parts of his body using caliber .45.

Based in the recovered five pieces fired cartridge cases and one deformed slug of the same caliber by the SOCO team who processed the crime scene.

The suspects immediately fled towards Rotonda, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City direction.

The victim was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City but declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

The investigator of this station still conducting in-depth investigation regarding the incident and immediately disseminated the information to all neighboring station for possible apprehension of the perpetrators. 

Coordination with the victim’s families was still undergoing to determine the motive of the incident.

Php1.2-M worth of property razed by Fire Incident

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 1, 2018) - A fire broke out at Molave Public Market, Zamora Street corner Capistrano Street and Ranillo Street, Barangay Maloloy-on, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:59 PM of September 29, 2018.

Immediately, Molave MPS together with fire truck from Molave Central Fire Station, Business Sector Volunteer Fire Brigade Yu Tee Kiong Foundation, JNY, Juanita, Pagadian City Fire Station, Aurora Fire Station, Ramon Magsaysay Fire Station and Bonifacio Fire Station, Mis Occ. immediately responded at the incident.

After 2 hours and 30 minutes of firefighting, the fire was finally place under control as a consequence of the said incident, more or less eighty five (85) stalls was totally burned and damage to property was estimated more or less One Million Two Hundred Pesos (Php1,200,000.00) as per report of Molave Central Fire Station.

Initial investigation disclosed that the fire was originated at the stall owned by Mr. Rodrigo Toreso rented by Abel Sahi Ukay-ukay Store and the fire rapidly spread out to other stalls.

The cause of fire incident is still to be determined and subject for further investigation. No casualties/Injuries reported during the said incident.

PNP Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign

PAGADIAN CITY (Octr. 1, 2018) - The operatives of Provincial Drugs Enforcement Units of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO conducted buy-bust operation at Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City at about 7:00PM of September 29, 2018.

The operation was resulted in the arrest of Manter Baratucal Dimaucom, married, 59 years old, seaweed trader by occupation, elementary level, and a resident of Purok Sunshine, Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City.

Confiscated from his possession were ten pieces heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and a Php500.00 pesos with serial number DU577656 used as buy-bust money. 

The arrested person is now under the custody of said police office for filing of appropriate charges in court.
