Wanted Man Arrested
SAN PABLO, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 28, 2018) - PNP personnel of San Pablo MPS conducted police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 6:00 PM of November 27, 2018 at Brgy. Poblacion, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The operation was resulted to the arrest of Enerio Sistoso Gonzaga, 54 years old, married, farmer by occupation, a resident of Purok Nangka, Barangay Sacbulan, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Frustrated Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 14031-2K18 issued on October 8, 2018 by Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Ninth Judicial Region Branch 21, Pagadian City with a bail bond recommended of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (Php120,000.00) for his temporary liberty.
The arrested person is now under the custody of San Pablo MPS for proper disposition.
1 person was killed in Shooting Incident
KUMALARANG, Zamboanga del Sur (Npv. 28, 2018) – One person was killed in Shooting incident transpired at Sitio Talaed, Brgy, Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur at about 9:08 AM of November 27, 2018.
The victim was identified as Javer Esmael y Gomez a.k.a. Teboy, 43 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Sitio Tugop, Brgy, Brgy.Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was sitting beside copra drier (landahan) at the coco farm owned by Tuansi Mama located at the above-mention place when suddenly unidentified perpetrator/s appeared and shot the victim once hitting the latter’s shoulder with the use of 12 gauge shotgun based on the recovered one spent shell and further slice his neck with the used of sharp bolo.
As a result victim sustained gunshot wound on his left shoulder and a slit wound on his neck which resulted to his death.
After the incident, suspect immediately fled on foot going to Sitio Tulawas Brgy. Bualan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur. Motive of the incident still to be determined.
Dead Body Found with stab wounds
PITOGO, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 28, 2018) - A dead body was found at Sitio Tuburan, Barangay San Isidro, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:10 AM of November 27, 2018.
Victim was identified as Leonardo Pangasian Policas, 48 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay San Isidro, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The victim sustained several alleged stabbed wounds on different parts of his body which caused his instantaneous death.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 4:00 PM of November 26, 2018, the victim left home to cooperate in (bayanihan) transferring the house owned by Audit Abogada and never returned home that day.
PNP elements of Pitogo MPS are continuously exerting effort to determine the most possible motive of the incident and possible identity of the perpetrator.
Motor Vehicular Accident
KUMALARANG, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 30, 2018) - Motor Vehicular accident transpired at Prk Bayabas, Brgy, Sicade, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:45 AM of November 29, 2018.
The accident was involving Single Motorcycle Black Hero 125, bearing temporary plate no.090110 which was driven by Jumie Damo y Sadja 24 years old, single, self-employed and a resident of Prk Kingdom, Brgy.Gawil, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur with back riders identified as Melanie Luhating y Timo 20 years old and Renboy Linggal y Anggot 19 years old.
While traversing along national highway en route from Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur bound for Brgy, Gawil, Kumalarang, upon reaching at the above-mentioned place accidentally bumped on Mahogany tree beside the road.
As a result, the above-mentioned driver sustained severe injuries on his head and was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician of Kumalarang Rural Health Unit while the back riders sustained injuries and brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for proper medication.
The single motorcycle involved incurred damages and was brought to Kumalarang MPS for safekeeping.
