REPORTED INCIDENTS -February 14, 2016



PRESS RELEASE
Search Warrant
The final briefing was conducted by PSSUPT JOHN GANO GUYGUYON, Regional Chief, RCIDU9, participated by the respective officers of CIDG, PPSC-ZSPPO, 9THRPSB, PDEA9, PAIDSOTG, PIB, PIDMB, RID, Philippine Army, and Dimataling Municipal Police Station. The team arrived at the target area at around 3:50 in the morning of February 14, 2016, and  simultaneously effected the implementation of search warrant nos. 305-325 at Purok 2 and  search warrant NRS. 326-327 at Purok 3, all in Barangay Saloagan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur. Due to the poor road condition of the area, the respective targets from target 1 to target 13 sensed the arrival of the raiding team and eluded arrest and resulted only in the confiscation of firearm, ammunitions and explosives from target 1 and target 8, itemized as follow: target 1, search warrant nr. 305 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions) against Mr. and Mrs. Ceasar and Nida Ramirez, one (1) unit improvised shotgun without serial number, one (1) piece magazine assembly for shotgun, eight (8) live ammunitions for shotgun, two (2) live ammunitions for caliber .38 pistol, six (6) live ammunitions for caliber 5.56, two (2)  live ammunitions for caliber 9mm, twelve (12)  live ammunitions for caliber .45 pistol, two (2) live ammunitions for 40mm (m203), three (3) rifle grenades; target 8, search warrant nr. 319 (illegal possession of firearms and ammuntions) against Danilo Taup Mag-Aso Alias  “Tata” - eight (8) pieces of magazine assembly for Cal 5.56 loaded with a total of ninety (90)  caliber 5.56 live ammunitions and one (1) military bandolier color green.  The implementation of search warrant Nrs. 305 to 327 to the thirteen (13) targets was witnessed by Floriemer B. Taup and Judy G. Macalisang, both Brgy. Kagawads Of Saloagan, Dimataling, Zds, Aude A. Hampong of GMA7 based in Zamboanga Del Sur, Karen Cris M. Ramirez (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ceasar and Nida Ramirez) and Mariafe P. Mag-Aso (wife of danilo t. mag-aso). The inventory of confiscated  items,  was immediately brought to CIDG-ZDS office for proper disposition and documentation and for filing of regular cases.

Wanted Person
The PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station led by SPO3 Carlos D Omentic, arrested Dandy Uba Suano, 30 years old, married, at Barangay Ditoray, Pagadian City at about 9:20 in the morning of February 14, 2016, by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of estafa with criminal case number 2013-10-2641 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, branch 23, Pagadian City, with bail recommended amounting to ₱19,000.00 for his temporary liberty. Subject person was arrested at his residence at the abovementioned place and is now temporarily detained at Pagadian Cps.

Shooting Incident
PO1 May Dhia Apawan, PNP member assigned at Pagadian City Police Station, informing Pagadian City Police Station that a shooting incident transpired at Barangay Lower Lumbia, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:10 in the morning of February 15, 2016, upon receipt of the report, PNP elements of Pagadian Cps led by PINSP LERMA BORON, proceded to the reported place. Upon arrival of the responding PNP personnel, the two (2) victims later identified as Junrey Abaquita Quir, 25 years old, single, resident of Purok Lower Lumbia, Barangay Lumbia, Pagadian City,  and David James Tande Galeriana, 18 years old, single,  Resident Of Purok Waling-Waling, Barangay Napolan, Pagadian City, were already rushed to Pagadian Medical Center for immediate treatment. Based on the investigation conducted by Pagadian Cps, at around 12:30 in the morning of February 15, 2016, both victims were washing their clothes outside their residence, when unidentified criminals onboard an undetermined type of motorcycle suddenly shot the victims three times, hitting Junrey Abaquita Quir on his right shoulder and left hand, while David James Tande Galeriana was hit on the right leg. Suspects immediately fled towards unknown direction after the incident. Elements of Pagadian Cps are conducting thorough investigation and follow-up operation to identify, locate, and arrest the suspects and file appropriate cases in court. Furthermore no fired cartridge was recovered from the crime scene.

Lambat Sibat (Arrest Of Wanted Person)
The PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station led by SPO3 Carlos Omentic, warrant server, together with PO2 Jennifer Buco, PO2 Cyrus Gay Remolador, PO2 Roland Duman-Ag, PO2 Laarni Quimbo, PO1 Romel Montañez, PO1 Mayjie Arnejo, PO1 Aidy Ong Capacio, PO1 Noel Pelaris and PO1 Diosa Remotegue, under the direction of PSUPT MICHAEL P PALERMO, OIC proceeded to Rizal Avenue, Barangay Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:45 in the morning of February 15, 2016, and arrested Gina  Baldo Sabanal, 41 years old, married, a resident of the aforementioned place. The suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Felix B. Rodriguez, Presiding Judge, RTC branch 18, Pagadian City, for the crime of estafa (2 counts) with criminal case number 11948-2k13 and 11949-2k13 with bail bond recommended fixed at ₱32,000.00. Arrested person is now temporarily detained at pagadian city police station  while waiting for court disposition.

Recovery Of Cadaver
The PNP personnel of Sominot Municipal Police Station received a cellular phone call from Hon. Ramil Ambol, Kagawad Of Barangay Datagan, Sominot, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:00 in the morning of February 15, 2016, informing that two (2) dead bodies were found at the boundary of Barangays Datagan and Langapod which were already in the advanced state of decomposition. Upon receipt of said report, at about 8:30 in the morning of February 15, 2016, a team led by SPO4 Eulogio Pilapil Moñeza, officer on case under the direct supervision of Pinsp Felixberto B Rule, Jr., proceeded to the aforementioned barangay to act on the report.
