Arrest of Wanted Person
ROGER LUBATON Y GONZALES, 59 years old, married, Chief
Tanod of Brgy Poblacion, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur was arrested by PNP
elements of Lapuyan Municipal Police Station at around 9:20 AM of June 10, 2016
at Purok Khelat, Poblacion, Lapuyan, ZDS by virtue of warrant of arrest for the
crime of attempted homicide, docketed under Criminal case number 1751-SM,
issued by Hon. Maria Teresa R. Pangilinan presiding judge of RCT Branch 29, San
Miguel ZDS. Accused is now temporarily detained at Lapuyan MPS locked-up cell
for proper disposition.

The PNP personnel of Tukuran Municipal Police
Station led by PCI GILZEN NIÑO REGIS MANESE, Chief of Police, conducted
checkpoint operation at National Highway of Barangay Sto. Niño, Tukuran,
Zamboanga del Sur at about 1:30 in the afternoon of 10 June 2016, that resulted
to the arrest of FELECIANO ESPAÑOLA Y MEDILLO, 34 years old, with live-in
partner, and resident of Purok Sta. Cruz, Barangay Sto. Niño, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur. Confiscated from the
possession and control of the suspect were the following: Three (3) pieces of
small plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be
methamphetamine hydrochloride or locally known as shabu; Two (2) rolled aluminium
foils; and One (1) unit tricycle bajaj (paying-payong), color black, bearing
plate number JA14502. Subject person was temporarily detained at Tukuran MPS
locked up cell while Appropriate case for violation of RA 9165 (comprehensive
dangerous drug act of 2002) is being prepared for filing in court.
