Hacking Incident

MIDSALIP - Hacking incident occurred at Purok 5, Barangay Golictop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:30 PM on December 6, 2016. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victims identified as Ernesto Macalimbo Landawon, 53 years old, married, farmer and Jonard Bansal Landawon, 24 years old, married, farmer and both resident of Purok 5, Barangay Golictop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur while walking going home three (3) suspects identified as Tony Plesin, Wel Plesin And Dol Plesin all of legal age and a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Golictop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur block their way and without any apparent reasons hacked and stabbed the victims with the use of a bolo. Suspects fled to unknown direction after the incident. The victim Ernesto Landawon sustained hacked wound on his right shoulder, right ear and stabbed wound on his right chest while Jonard Landawon sustained lacerated wound on his mouth and were brought to the above-named hospital and subsequently transferred to Mhars Gen Hospital, Maningcol, Ozamis City. Motive of the incident was believed to be personal conflict. Midsalip MPS is now conducting hot pursuit operation for the possible arrest of the fleeing suspects.

Hold-up Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Hold-up incident transpired at National Highway, Tiguma, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:30 PM on December 6, 2016 wherein victim identified as Andres Cabusao Balaga, 68 years old, male, married, afp retired staff sergeant and a resident of Santo Tomas, Mutia, Zambonga Del Norte. initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was waiting for a bus ride to ozamis city at National Highway, Tiguma, Pagadian City, when unidentified male person approached him, pointing a cal .45 pistol and declared hold-up and asked if where is the money, in a visayan dialect “ asa ang kwarta”. upon knowing of the intention, victim handed over the money amounted to sixty thousand pesos (Php 60,000.00), in which he had just withdrawn from AFPSLAI, Lumbia Distict, Pagadian City. suspect immediately grab the money and fled riding his black honda xrm motorcycle without plate number heading to the municipality of labangan, zds. Pagadian CPS immediately coordinated with labangan mps to conduct checkpoint for the possible arrest of the fleeing suspect and conducted further investigation regarding the incident.

Arrest of HVT Personality

DINAS - Combined personnel of Dinas MPS, Zamboanga Del Sur Public Safety Company, ZSPIB, RID9, PAIDSOTG, MARITIME, HPG, 2ND MC RPSB9, PAGADIAN CPS tracker team, led by PSUPT Rosauro B Francisco, together with elements of 53rd IB, PA led by Lt. Col Virgilio C Hamos Jr., Batallion Commander conducted joint operation on most wanted person (MWP) and high value target (HVT) At Purok 3, Barangay Sambulawan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:00 PM on December 7, 2016. The operation resulted to the arrest of Pahad Modapil Tantong, a.k.a. “Paki” (top 7 HVT Provincial Level and member of Criminal Gang Ambol group) by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 8294, docketed under criminal case number 13-058 and violation of section 11, article 2 of RA 9165, docketed under criminal case number 13-059, issued by Hon. Judge Felix B. Rodriguez Jr., Regional Trial Court 9, Branch 29, Dated July 2, 2015 with bail bond recommended amounted to  (Php 280,000.00). Arrested subject person is presently detained at Dinas MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

AURORA - Personnel of Aurora MPS led by SPO4 Jimmy V Guevara, conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok Dahlia, Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. at about 9:00 AM on December 07, 2016. The operation resulted to the arrest of Baltazar Mañego Magtortor Jr, a.k.a “Bobby Jun”, 40 years old, married, businessman of Purok Dahlia, Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. the accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of section 5 of RA 9262, docketed under criminal case number 2129, issued by Hon. Winston M. Villegas, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 43, Tanjay City with bail bond recommended amounted to Php 120,000.00.arrested subject person is presently detained at aurora mps for proper disposition.
