Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident occurred at Barangay Gubang, Pagadian City at about 6:30 PM of April 25, 2017. The victim was identified as Bonifacio Bergado Irog-Irog, 62 years old, male, married and resident of Purok Centro, Barangay Gubang, Pagadian City. He sustained gunshot wound on the back portion of his body. Investigation conducted disclosed that based on the statement of his grandson/witness identified as Saldua Irog-Irog, male, 14 years old and resident of same place, disclosed that on 6:30 PM of same date, his grandfather/victim was riding a horse from his farmland going to his home of the above-mentioned place. when victim reached at the spill way of Purok Magallanes, Barangay Gubang, were two (2) unidentified suspects armed with undetermined caliber of firearm called the attention of the victim by saying in bisayan dialect, to quote “pre” and suddenly two (2) gun burst was heard by his grandson, who at that time walking near/ adjacent to the place where the incident happened. As a result, victim fell down on the ground and suspects fled immediately towards unknown direction after the incident, while the witness/grandson ran away and asked assistance from his neighbors. Victim sustained gunshot wound on the back portion of his body and was rushed to the above-mentioned hospital for medical treatment. PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS conducted thorough investigation and follow-up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspects. Motive of the incident is yet to be determined. Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO - Vehicular traffic accident transpired at National Highway of Purok Maabtikon, Barangay Pag-Laum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:22 AM of April 25, 2017 wherein single mc Suzuki raider, color blue, no plate number and driven by Wellier Paner Coming, 24 years old, single, student and resident of Purok Rose, Vincenzu Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur accidentally bumped a pedestrian identified as Jose Sajol Otos, 66 years old, married, farmer and resident of Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that said single mc was traversing from Vencinzu Sagun Municipality bound to Pagadian City and upon reaching at national highway of Purok Maabtikon, Barangay Pag-Laum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur accidentally bumped a pedestrian, when he suddenly crossed the road unnoticed the incoming single mc. as a result, the pedestrian and driver of single mc sustained physical injury on the different parts of their bodies and were rushed to Dumalinao Municipal Health Center for medical treatment. The motorcycle was brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

Vehicular Traffic Accident

DUMALINAO - Vehicular traffic accident transpired at National Highway Of Purok Malinawon- A, Barangay Paglaum, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:20 am on april 25, 2017wherein dump truck, bearing plate number wba 201, loaded with five (5) cubic gravel, driven by juanito dag-oman mayonado, 24 years old, married and resident of Barangay Sikade, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur boarded with his son Juanito Tinhidon Mayonado Jr., resident of same place and Mazda bongo, red color, bearing plate number 120101, owned and driven by enrique manghay angas, 61 years old and resident of Purok Mani, Brgy. Sebucao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation conducted disclosed that the dump truck was traversing from Kumalarang Municipality bound to Dumalinao of this province and upon reaching at the descending road of Brgy. Camanga, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur accidentally loose it’s control over his driven vehicle due to mechanical problem and bumped into the made bongo which was running ahead in same direction. As a result, the dump truck swerved in the other lane and turn-turtle and the driver of dump truck and son passenger sustained injuries on the different parts of their bodies and were rushed to Dumalinao Health Center for medical treatment. Fortunately, the driver of Mazda bongo was not injured and both vehicles incurred damages..

Arrest of Wanted Person

SAN PABLO - Operatives of San Pablo MPS conducted police operation (service of arrest warrant) at Purok Palayan, Barangay Payag, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 AM on April 25, 2017. the operation resulted to the arrest of Mary Joy Binigay Suson, 21 years old, married and resident of Purok Palayan, Barangay Payag, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Dorothy P Montejo-Gonzaga, Assisting Presiding Judge, 11th Judicial Region, Regional Trial Court, Branch 3, Nabunturan, Compostela Valley for the crime of qualified theft, docketed under cc# 7967, with bail bond recommended amounted to (Php 40,000.00).  Arrested subject person is presently detained at San Pablo MPS awaiting court disposition.
