Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Cabinga-An, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 PM of April 28, 2017, wherein the victims were immediately brought at Aisah Medical Hospital, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City for treatment. victims were identified as Caloy Tanta Andal, 37 years old, single and jocong Said Alpha, 41 years old, single all residents of Purok Cabinga-An, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City. Caloy Tanta Andal sustained gunshot wounds on his right hand and left foot while Jocong Said Alpha sustained wound on his head. Initial investigation disclosed that on or about 8:45 PM of the same date, the victims were on board on a motorcycle arrived at the above-mentioned place when unidentified person shot them several times. Recovered at the crime scene were two (2) pieces fired cartridge case of caliber .45 pistols. Motive of the incident is still undetermined.

Fire Incident

GUIPOS - Fire incident has transpired at Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:01 AM of April 29, 2017, wherein the house owned by the former mayor Roberto Ramas a resident of Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur was razed. Estimated damaged is more or less five hundred thousand (₱500,000.00) pesos. At about 1:00 am of the same date, fire out was declared by the responding BFP of Pagadian City. Investigation continues.

Implementation of Search Warrant against Motingting Tinggalong and othersl

LABANGAN - Joint police operation was conducted by CIDG, Labangan MPS, Provincial Public Safety Company, RPSB and Regional Intelligence Unit 9 implemented the above search warrants at Purok Pag-Asa, Barangay Combo, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:15 AM of April 28, 2017 and confiscated/seized the following  items: search warrant number 13-2k17 for illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions against Ibrahim Salik Abo, as target number 1 resulted to negative, search warrant number 14-2k17 for illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions against motingting singgon tinggalong as target number 2 resulted negative. search warrant number 15-2k17 for illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions against Musa Manaldas Jioma, as  target number 3 was arrested and confiscated from his possession were: one (1) unit m-16 rifle colt caliber 5.56mm with defaced serial number with one (1) magazine inserted loaded with twenty (20) rounds of ammunitions for caliber 5.56mm, three (3) pieces long magazine assembly for m-16 rifle cal. 5.56mm, five (5) pieces magazine assembly for m-16 rifle cal. 5.56mm, eighty (80) rounds of ammunitions of caliber 5.56 mm for m-16 rifle, one (1) bandolier color fatigue with camouflage. During the implementation and confiscation of pieces of evidence, the suspect failed to present pertinent documents to possess firearm/s and ammunitions. Return of search warrant and documentation was undertaken in support for inquest proceeding in filing of case for violation of RA 10591. 

Car Napping Incident

MOLAVE - A car napping incident occurred at Kamagong Street Corner Yangco Street, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:00 PM of April 28, 2017. The victim was identified as Deoclesia Hamadiong Lingatong, 59 years old, married, a public school teacher and a resident of Kamagong Street, Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur reported that her motorcycle Yamaha Mio sporty bearing plate number 90272js was forcibly taken by unidentified person armed with a firearm. Initial investigation disclosed that while she was on her way home and upon reaching along Kamagong Street Corner Yangco Street, Zamboanga Del Sur when unidentified person appeared and at gun point forcibly took her motorcycle and fled to unknown direction. Molave MPS is still conducting follow-up investigation for the possible identity and arrest of the suspect.

Arrest of Wanted Person

MOLAVE - Operatives of Molave MPS conducted manhunt operation at Rizal Avenue, Barangay Madasigon, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:15 AM of April 28, 2017. This resulted in the arrest of Susana A Olita, 51 years old, widow, a resident of the above-mentioned place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of estafa in two (2) counts docketed under criminal case number 2017-10-3364 and 2017-10-3365, issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of Branch 23, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Molave, Zamboang Del Sur with recommended bail-bond of forty thousand (₱40,000.00) pesos for her temporary liberty. The accused is temporarily detained at Molave MPS for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person

SAN MIGUEL - Operatives of San Miguel MPS conducted manhunt operation on wanted person at Purok Quirino, Barangay Poblacion, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 AM of April 28, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of Mauro Suico Peñonal Jr., 55 years old, married a resident of Purok Acacia, Barangay Bulawan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide, issued by Hon. Teresa R Pangilinan, Presiding Judge Of 6th Municipal Circuit Trial Court, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under criminal case number 1626-sm dated February 4, 2013, with recommended bail-bond of twenty four thousand (₱24,000.00) pesos. He is temporarily detained at San Miguel MPS for proper disposition.
