Murder Suspect Arrested in Mahayag
Zamboanga Del Sur - PNP elements of
Mahayag MPS conducted service of warrant of arrest at Purok 2, Barangay
Poblacion, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at
around 9:30 AM of April 17, 2018.
The operation resulted to the
arrest of Mayon Gonsagon Y Macasalong, 40 years old, married, farmer and a
resident of P-6 Barangay DMC, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur.
Subject person was arrested by
virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge Of
Branch 23, Regional Trial Court of 9th Judicial Region, Molave, Zamboanga Del
Sur for the crime of frustrated murder and double attempted murder docketed
under Criminal Case No. 2018-10-3526.
The Warrant of Arrest dated April 5,
2018 with a bail bond of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (Php220,000.00) for
his temporary liberty.
The accused is now temporarily
detained Mahayag MPS detention cell while waiting for final adjudication from
court.
