2 Most Wanted Person Arrested

LAKEWOOD, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 24, 2018) – The Combined operatives of Lakewood MPS, Zamboanga del Sur and Siayan MPS, Zamboanga del Norte arrested two wanted persons during the conduct of law enforcement operation at Penolis, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:45pm of October 23, 2018.

The operating team arrested the two wanted person identified as:

Junrel Landong Dayna, aka “Junjun” 35 years old, married, Filipino, Elementary Level and a farmer by occupation, Top No.: 5 Most Wanted Person-Municipal Level; and

Teofilo Melian Dayna, 67 years old, married, Filipino, Elementary Level, and a farmer by occupation, Other Wanted Person Category, both with residence at Purok 2, Penolis, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The two suspects was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Presiding Judge of Branch 2, Regional Trial Court, Ninth Judicial Region, Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte dated March 6, 2018 for “Murder” docketed under Criminal Case No.: S-5727 with no bail recommended.

The Arrested persons were now detained at Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.

Stabbing Incident

LAPUYAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 25, 2018) - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Tipasan, Lapuyan Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:45 AM of October 24, 2018 particularly at the wake of the mother in law of the victim. 

The victim identified as Roldan Gamolon Lahagan, 35 years old, male, married and a resident of Purok 3 Tipasan, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The Suspect was identified as Aniho Sigba Malangan, 40 years old, male, married and a resident of aforementioned barangay. He was brought to Lapuyan MPS by the barangay tanod of the said barangay. 

Initial investigation conducted by the PNP personnel of Lapuyan MPS disclosed that allegedly suspect called the attention of the victim and without any reason suddenly stabbed him immediately at his chest with a use of screw driver and sustained minor injury. 

Motive of the incident is to be determined.  The suspect is now under custody of Lapuyan MPS for further investigation and proper disposition.

Hacking Incident

LAPUYAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 25, 2018) - Hacking incident transpired at Datu Lumok, Barangay Poblacion Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 06:35pm of October 23, 2018 wherein the victim identified as Lumambo Limo Daliap, 49 years old, male, married a resident of the same area.

PNP elements of Lapuyan MPS proceeded to the aforesaid area to verify the report.    

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim while at home when suddenly a certain Otat Sindel of legal age, male, married a resident of same address appeared at his house and attacked him using a bolo without any reason.

The victim sustained one hacked wound at his right arm and immediately brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital, Margosatubig Zamboanga Del Sur for immediate treatment.

The PNP elements of Lapuyan MPS immediately conducted hot pursuit operation for the possible arrest of the suspect. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.

24 persons injured in Road Crash accident identified

AURORA, Zamboanga Del Sur (Oct. 27, 2018) – Twenty-four persons were injured in Vehicular non-traffic were identified, the accident was transpired at Purok 4, Brgy. Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 2:00 PM of October 26, 2018.

The Aurora MPS was able to identify the eighteen passengers were brought to Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Medical Center Dao Pagadian City namely:

        1. Evangeline Larede y Muñez, female, 55 years old, married, and a resident of Purok Radsak, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, ZDS

2. Justin Larede y Muñez, male, 11 years old, and a resident of Purok Radsak, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, ZDS

3. Kim Larede y Muñez, female, 6 years old, and a resident of Purok Radsak, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, ZDS

4. Princes Larede y Munez, female, 13 years old, and a resident of Purok Radsak, Tawagan Norte, Labangan, ZDS

5. Junmark Ginulos y Opsar, male, 28 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy. Tingabolong, Dimataling, ZDS

6. Marlon Cariaga y Bangcolan, male, 40 years old, married, driver by occupation, and a resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Maloc, Tangub City.

7. Diovin Vergara y Aguilar, male, 23 years old, single, AFP member, and a residentPurok I, Brgy. Lala Proper, Lala, Lanao del Norte

8. Efijenia Bidal y Akiatan, female, 55 years old, house wife, and a resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Sagacad, Dinas, ZDS

9. Catherine Lagare y Abagies, female, 26 years old, single, teacher by occupation, and a resident of Purok Angela, Brgy. San Jose, Aurora, ZDS

10. Esterlita Padilla u Duhilag, female, 58 years old, married, and a resident of Purok Cacao, Tuburan District, Pagadian City

11. Jezrael Lantaya y Turbilla, male, 22 years old, single, student, and a resident of Purok Cacao, Tuburan District, Pagadian City

12. Flora Garcenes y Monsalud, female, 42 years old, widow, LGU employee, and a resident of Purok Madasigon, Brgy. Sto Niño, Tukuran, ZDS

13. Suzzett Mindoza y Pirocho, female, 45 years old, single, LGU employee, and a resident of Purok 5, Poblacion, Mahayag, ZDS

14. Niño Sebastian Mindoza y Pirocho, male, 12 years old, and a resident of Purok 5, Poblacion, Mahayag, ZDS.

15. Anna Tura y Larajo, female, 69 years old, married, and resident Purok Cacao, Tuburan, Pagadian City

16. Ceceil Lauron y Laso, female, 42 years old, married, teacher by occupation, and a resident Purok Uno A, Brgy. Lapirian, Tukuran, ZDS

17. Bejon Batoy y Bordalba, male, 26 years old, single, teacher by occupation, and a resident Purok 4 B, Brgy. Lapirian, Tukuran, ZDS

18. Solidad Patalinghug y Sol, female, 48 years old, married, and a resident of Brgy. Kawit, Pagadian City.

The two passengers were brought and confined at Mendiro Hospital Pagadian City namely:

1. Helen Diaz y Patis, female, 50 years old, married, businesswoman, and a resident of Purok Sto Niño, Brgy. Libertad, Aurora, ZDS

2. Arlyn Montilla y Ladanan, female, 40 years old, married, teacher by occupation, and a resident of Purok Madasigon, Brgy.Tuburan, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay.

The two passengers were brought and confined at Aurora Community Emmergency (ACE) Hospital, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur namely:

1. Angel May Velasco y Canda, female, 13 years old, and a resident of Purok Pagang, Brgy. Kawit, Pagadian City

2. Edmalyn Dollente y Canda female, 34 years old, single, and a resident of Purok Pagang, Brgy. Kawit, Pagadian City.

While the conductor of the said bus identified as one Rey Lerasan y Carcallas, male, 38 years old, married and a resident of Rizal Street Purok San Pedro, Brgy. Poblacion, Dumingag, ZDS was brought and confined at Blancia Hospiatl, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

The driver (Andres Bacaling) who sustained head injury was also brought to Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Medical Center Dao Pagadian City for medication and subsequently brought to Aurora MPS for proper case disposition.

Further, the Rural Transit Bus was totally wrecked and left at the place of incident.

Man dead in Suicide Incident

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct.27, 2018) – One person died in Suicide incident (by hanging) transpired at Purok Madanihon, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:10pm of October 26, 2018.

The victim was identified as April John Saladaga Y Fuentes, 20 years old, male, with live-in partner, motorcycle mechanic, Filipino and a resident of abovementioned place.

Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was seen by his live-in partner named Mary Anne Echavez Manuales hanging on the wood brace/Beam of the ceiling of his house around 6:10pm of the same date using a cable wire (color blue) more or less Twenty-two feet in length 

Thereafter upon discovery, he was immediately brought and rushed to Hofileña Hospital for his possible revival but was declared dead on arrival around 6:45pm of the same date by the attending physician Dr. Abner Magboo. The cadaver now lies at Hofileña Hospital’s Morgue.
