SHOOTING INCIDENT in Pagadian City

That at 8:55 PM of February 28, 2016, PO3 RICO RICONALLA, PNP personnel of Tugas Compac, Balangasan, Pagadian City informed Pagadian CPS that shooting incident transpired at national highway of Purok Kapalaran, Balangasan, Pagadian City. Upon receipt of said information PNP personnel of same cps led by PINSP HARRY R. VELEZ together with the duty investigator under the direct supervision and control of PSUPT MICHAEL P. PALERMO, OIC, immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident. Investigation =disclosed that at about 8:45 pm of same date, while the victim identified as Leonard Bustamante Bonggo, 19 years old, single, construction worker and a resident of same place was eating balot (egg embryo) at the aforesaid place when suddenly two unidentified suspects riding in Yamaha Mio without plate no. attached suddenly appeared and shot the victim to death. Victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of his body which resulted to his untimely death while suspects fled away towards unknown direction after the incident. Motive of the incident is still undetermined. The case is under follow-up investigation by Pagadian City PS for the possible arrest of the suspect as well as the motive of the incident.

SHOOTING INCIDENT in Dumingag

That at about 07:40 PM of February 28, 2016 Dumingag MPS received a cellular phone call from Barangay Captain Pancho Mike Quilojano of Barangay Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur informing that shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Kauswagan, Dumingag, zds wherein victim identified as Marcelino Malinao Cantona, 60 years old, married and a resident of the aforesaid barangay was shot to death by unidentified suspect. investigation disclosed that at about 1:00 pm of same date, the victim was having a drinking session together with Welie Sinangote at above stated place and at about 7:00 pm the victim was already drunk and started making trouble as usual he did when he was under the influenced of liquor. while armed with a bolo in both of his hands the victim gone wild and run after to his nephew named pedro gabonada at the highway, whom believed by the victim responsible for stealing his chickens. While his nephew Pedro Gabonada run away to evade Marcelino Cantona heard a single gunshot coming from the direction of the victim. Later it was discovered that the victim was lying life less on the road with a single gunshot wound on his back.

SHOOTING INCIDENT in Dinas

That at about 7:00 PM of February 28, 2016, shooting incident transpired at Purok Buongon, Somputan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Vivian Batonghinog Diabo, 53 years old, plain housewife was shot by her husband identified as Ramon Tuwawa Diabo, 58 years old, farmer both residents of the aforementioned place. investigation revealed that while the victim and suspect were inside their residence when a heated arguments regarding their nephews who were reportedly engaging in using drugs prompting the suspect to shot the latter with the used of unknown caliber of handgun. Victim sustained one (1) gunshot wound on her right thigh and was rushed to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for treatment while suspect fled towards unknown direction after the incident. The case is under follow-up investigation by Dinas MPS for the possible arrest of the suspect.

THEFT INCIDENT AND ARREST OF SUSPECT in Bayog

That at about 8:30 AM of February 28, 2016, Mr. Renato Sampitan Ponio, 47 years old, businessman and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Kahayagan, Bayog, Zamboanga Del Sur personally appeared and reported to Bayog Municipal Police Station that rims of assorted cigarettes was stolen by a certain Erlinda Maniya Comison, 45 years old, single parent and a resident of Barangay Dao, Pagadian City at the sari-sari store owned by his elder sister. Investigation disclosed that the suspect was closely monitored by the owner of her modus by pretending to buy some groceries and leave the store paying only a small amount but secretly the suspect will took some assorted groceries on her handbag. Suspect was caught in the act stealing and was arrested by Mr Renato Ponio and subsequently turn-over to the authorities.
